Rud sat perched on a buillding overlooking the Imperial base that housed Moff Jenkins in one of its senior officer suites. Still a long way from the base, the 4x magnifier on his helmet's HUD came in handy to observe the patrols and rhythm of the place. It was another assassination mission, just like Onderon, but then completely different to Onderon. There were no innocents Rud could murder for distraction, nor did he want to anymore, but every single one of those Imperials were criminals in their own right. "Comms check, this is Badger Three-" he adjusted his kneeling stance a bit and he felt the weight of the two extra powerpacks for his rifle and the two extra for his pistol, begrudgingly move a bit on his belt. Rud was anxious about this one and contrary to habit he'd chosen to take two concussion grenades along in case there was another Sith like on Onderon. Kriff, this was a new level of risking your life for the cause. Assaulting Military Base to kill one Moff and most likely having to blast through the entire garrison of Imperial troopers and Sith warriors. If the Badgers of Clan Solus could do this.. they could even take out the Emperor on Coruscant.

Observing the gate, Rud noticed it was -heavily- guarded and he hoped everyone had brought their jetpack along. "Silent Badger (@Darasuum), you copy?" Rud didn't know much about Koil, other than he outranked him in the most important think; Raz's trust.

Next Rud observed the sturdy outer wall which seemed impossible to scale without special equipment. "Bad-Luck Badger (@Phoenix), you copy? Again, Rud couldn't remember actually working with Narir much. Though he recognized his mugshot from the Sector Ranger's posters. They call him a murderer and thief. Considering Rud's first mission outside of Mandalorian space they sure had something in common. Narir still had Raz's favor, though. He did.

The anti-air turrets were a frightening sight and Rud dreaded having to jetpack into the base and opening himself up to their automatic fire. "Angry Badger (@Rimrald), you copy?" Damn, that man had had a hard life. Wyatt Solus was -at least to the clan- a known survivor of the events of Medriaas. Rud's own village was sacred to him, that's where a lot of Solus traditions were kept alive through the ages, and losing all of it in a single flash of light was just.. too much to bear. Rud could only have an immense respect for that.

Finally taking a look at the citadel tower, Rud's heart sank. It was not only fortified, but there were no balconies and the windows seemed to be made from the extra durable stuff. Still, he supposed that if they could dodge the anti-air turrets by flying low enough those windows were their point of entry that had the largest time "window" until they got swarmed with troopers from the barracks. The Moff would be there, too... just like every other high-level operative, agent or Sith, that was currently stationed on Hapes. Rud was thankful he brought the last one along, for his fanatic rallying could possible force any Sith to take the easy way out after peeping into his brain. "Little "Rocket" Badger (@Painus), you copy?"

Having completed the comms-check and his own surveillance of the base, Rud changed his HUD back to normal view and started checking his gear. He didn't need another rifle overheating on him in the middle of the coming blaster-shit-storm.

THEME

The echani had not participated on an assasination mission with other members of clan Solus yet. He had heard from other members and word of aruetiise what had happened on Onderon but that was it. He hoped that this event would turn out much differently than that event. When Badger Three ( @Ecclessey ) keyed asked for his preparedness he responded with a simple neutral tone "Elek" There was a reason that Koil was known as Silent Badger and it was not just because of his tendencies towards stealthy kills but for a lack of words.

He looked at the base from nearby. His macrobinoculars in hand allowed him to see better than his rifle in terms of distance. He was watching the same thing that Rud had observed, the gate. He gauged how much of a burst he would need to clear it with a trained eye. He proceeded to stow his macrobinoculars and switch to his rifle's slightly more limited scope.

Koil listened to the communications check with the rest of the group. The array of comrades along for this mission would be sufficient in his own opinion. Any more and it would probably be considered a full scale assault. But they needed a small enough group to slip in and ideally slip out before the rest of the fortification knew they were ever there. The fact that they would not only kill one of the Imperial's higher echelons would be a blow but the covert method would be even more embarrassing of the Imperial Republica.

Wyatt sat on the roof of a building to the NE of the base, back against a large air vent left him a foot or so from the railing as he held a set of micro binoculars in his hands and scanned following the targets Rud(@Ecclessey) was calling out. Thankfully for Wyatt and the others present he had situated his equipment before this endeavor and with him was his bowcaster propped up against the waist high duracrete railing, his jet-pack fully fueled and situated on his back and his two Strill blaster pistols sat in their holsters. He opted to bring a pair of concussion grenades, a singular frag and singular smoke in the event things got dicey outside the building the target was inside of; he'd been told by more experienced Mandalorians that concussion grenades in buildings were nasty nasty tools.

Wyatt listened for the comm check and after Koil(@Darasuum), he spoke up with micro binoculars still at his eyes, his helmet sitting next to his bowcaster.

"Yeah i'm situated, not sold on how we get in without fighting an entire garrison... That's suicide boys."

His remark was accentuated at the end with a jovial tone in his voice, it was his new found way of dealing with stress was to inject humor, good old fashion gallows humor. But he went back to scanning the options, either they fly in over the walls but below the cannons or they scale the wall both of which would put them at a huge risk due to the visibility. They could try the front gate but that'd be a full frontal assault and they'd be toasted in no time, or they could try something else maybe something unconventional.

"What're the odds we can find a less obvious way in?"

Wyatt closed his remarks by stowing the borrowed micro binoculars and putting his helmet on and changing the scramble set to be on a squad net with the others to listen for more comms checks and ideas. Attaching his bowcaster to the two point harness on his chest he cycled the action and loaded a projectile before checking both blaster pistols and double checking they were loaded. He then unsheathed the lightsaber from his kit and ignited it, swinging it a few times to get the weight again, but he prayed to Kad he wouldn't need it on this mission. (@Painus @Phoenix)

Narir’s chest was already tightening in anticipation of what was coming. This wasn’t some minor kill they were going after but an Imperial Moff. These men and women had names that were recognized throughout the Empire, and going after them was something that would not only not be overlooked, but would also be extremely difficult. These Moffs had egos that matched their reputations and always made sure to travel with a retinue of guards who could easily hold their own in a fight.

The tension prompted Narir to make one additional pass over his equipment as he prepared for the attack to come. It was his normal gear that adorned his body, strapped, fastened, and snapped into place so that it wouldn’t be shaking and rattling to give himself away. His rifle was grasped tightly in his hand as he scanned the below area through the scope of his rifle. He’d made sure to make his peek through a small hole that would obscure him from sight… no sense i raising the alarm too early.

This is Bad-Luck Badger, I copy, he replied, listening to the others sound off their com check as well. Coordination would be important if they wanted to make it out alive, and everyone seemed to be making their call-ins appropriately. And with that, his mind was on how to get inside. The question was valid: none of them wanted to go toe to toe with an entire garrison. Badgers were stubborn, persistent, and capable, but not suicidal... at least most of them.

No fortress was impregnable, and while there may not have been an obvious route in, it was just a matter of finding what they could use. Or not attacking it.... As much as I'd love to attack an Imperial Garrison, we'd be better off finding a way to draw him out, he said. Fighting an enemy on their home turf when they were surrounded by soldiers was much less preferable than finding a way to pull him out of his base.

What if we spoof a transmission from one of the local families? Ask for a meeting to set up terms of "compliance" as the Imperials call it. Fighting a security detail beats fighting a whole base, he suggested. That should have been within their scope of abilities from where they were. Even if they hit him en route or set an ambush they might be able to take out half the security detail by detonating a vehicle or two en route. @Painus @Rimrald @Ecclessey @Arclight @Darasuum

Leandros finished praying and got up from his knees and into a low crouch. He checked his gear once, twice, three times, fastening everything, ensuring nothing was loose or unloaded. He needed his gear to be in perfect condition for this attack. He came equipped today with his reliable Shriek-hawk blaster rifle, one Strill blaster pistol, his vibrosword, and the lightsaber he had since Onderon. It was a good luck charm, he figured, especially in this case. While he was not fully used to the weight of the weapon, it brought him comfort knowing that a Sith died so that he could have it. His armor was outfitted with a fully-fueled jetpack, wrist rockets, and was coated in scatterweave in order to reduce the chances of being detected. He had four grenades with him: one frag, two concussion, and one smoke. Alongside the power pack in his rifle and pistol were two additional power packs. This was a full combat load.

He needed all the luck and favor of Kad Ha’rangir that he could get today. This was no mere local governor as on Onderon, but an Imperial Moff. This was a man of formidable resources and power in the Empire. Leandros knew the risks associated with this attack. They were overlooking the fortress compound that the Moff resided within, and it was not looking good for the Badgers. The Imperial military base on Hapes was very well-protected, and the bounty mentioned that the Moff would be accompanied by a Sith Master. The thought of victory over such impressive opponents made Leandros even more determined to succeed.

”Ibic cuyir Euk Katr. Jate bukia,” he responded as the others made their comms checks. Communication was the key to success, and they would need to act as one whole unit for this mission or they would be doomed to failure. As the others went over their checks and began brainstorming a way of getting in, Leandros looked over the outpost through his macrobinoculars, scanning for ways in. Narir was right; attacking the outpost, regardless of how they did it, was a surefire way to reduce the clan’s numbers by four. Instead, they needed to get him out with just his retinue of guards. The name of the game was guerilla warfare, and the children of Kad Ha’rangir needed to get the Moff to fight on their terms, not his.

”Dush-Jate'kara cuyir staabi. Mhi ne'waadas kaysh at olaror at mhi, va ashi miai,” he said in agreement, still looking over the base’s impressive fortifications. ”Mhi ganar etr par jehavey'ir. Meh mhi nynir etid vaal val cuyir en jupr, miak mhi silya nilha be de'da etid o'r tenn cayata.” With that, he looked over the few explosives he had, wondering what the Moff would travel in if their spoof worked.

Imperial Military Base, Hapes

Thick transparisteel windows seperated Moff Jenkins from the disgusting backwater world called Hapes. Stroking his carefully groomed graying beard, his eyes scanned the hill's idly, unknowingly gazing over men who sought his death. A troubling matter lay heavy on his mind. The native Hapan women were particularly rebellious, and it was Jenkin's duty to snuff out the seditious thoughts of the natives. It was a job he took very seriously.

"Tick tock. Times running out." He chuckled, a gasp echoed behind him, followed by soft sobs. Turning, Jenkins serious face turned into a leering grin. "We know your mother got the message, that if she did not renew your pitiful house's oath of fealty to the Emperor within twenty-four hours that one of you would die." He spoke as he walked, approaching the Hapan ladylings that were currently handcuffed and bound to a pair of chairs in the middle of his spartan office. "That was twenty-three hours ago, which has me wondering... which of you will she lose first?" Raising one of the hapan noble's chins with the barrel of his pistol, smirking arrogantly at the crying teenager. "Crusader, any word from our esteemed lady Chu'natha?"

"Negative." The Zabrak Sith drawled from his position next to the Moff's desk, his yellow eyes closed as if bored. He was far from it however. Holding himself in a state of mild meditation, he was savoring the fear and trauma that Moff Jenkin's so liked to spread, feeding on the dark emotions that embroiled the room. Between the twin captive's state of sheer terror and the ever present sadistic delight that radiated from the Moff, he did not lack for a meal.

"She hasn't called, a shame." Pressing the blaster barrel painfully against the whimpering girls chin, Jenkins smirked in her face before backing away, turning his back to them. "Tick tock." He shook the blaster pistol back and forth once like a metronome before it returned to its position behind his back as he returned to his position overlooking the fort, seperated from the world by military grade transparisteel and duracrete, surrounded by tall walls armed with AA guns and a garrison full of Imperial soldiers. Safe from whatever the Hapan's could think to try in retaliation for his "crimes", as they called them. The sound of sobs echoed behind him. A sly smirk crept up the side of his mouth. Tick tock. @Ecclessey @Phoenix @Painus @Darasuum @Rimrald

Rud used the magnifier on his HUD again and made a point of looking at every window belonging to a room with its lights on. It was a slow process, but as night had already fallen on Hapes it might allow a glimpse of an Imperial Moff uniform. He hoped he could get some divine hint as to what to day, but his mind didn't go any further than 'not-storming-the-base.' "Silent Badger-" he said finally, without taking his eyes off his task, "-can you slice into the comms disk of this building?" There was no way they could go to one of the Hapes families to relay a message and be back in time to intercept the Moff. For that to succeed they'd need more men. Perhaps, if they were lucky, they could make it look like a message had come from the Hapes families. "We'll go with Bad-Luck Badger's plan."

For a moment Rud thought he'd caught a glimpse of the Moff standing in front of his window, but his HUD didn't allow him to zoom in enough to make a positive identification. "May Kad bless us," he heard himself say. Seemed like Leandros was starting to rub off on him. "We need with a Sith master around."

It seemed they all agreed to a plan of action, which was a good first step. The Badger stubbornness could come in as an issue sometimes when making plans, but it seemed to be going smoothly this time. The last thing they needed when preparing to assault a base was for them to be fighting amongst themselves.

Narir continued to scan the horizons for any sign of enemies. Silent badger should have been able to spoof a transmission without too terribly much issue, but only time would tell. Let me know if you need help, he said quietly into his com. In the meantime, and assuming no help was required, he watched the comings and goings of the base.

The first order of business would be identifying the speeder, but that shouldn't be too difficult. There weren't that many vehicles coming and going, and even fewer still moving in convoy enough to carry the Moff's security retinue. On the bright side, though he was high ranking, it wasn't the Emperor himself, so multiple convoys leaving the facility as decoys was exceedingly unlikely. From that, he concluded with hope that it wouldn't be difficult to identify the correct vehicle and rain down all sorts of goodies on it. Mandalorian goodies... bombs. He meant bombs. @Painus @Rimrald @Ecclessey @Arclight @Darasuum

Wyatt stood in his place, micro binoculars still scanning the building and fixing themselves on the building the Moff was assumed to be in. Taking a moment to scan for activity he found himself eyeing an official looking figure and his dark side embracing horned companion, fortune was indeed shining on them for the time being. Talk of spoofing a transmission filled his ears as he was about to offer his own plan of attack for entrance quietly but quickly closed his mouth, far more impressed with this plan of action as it stood.
"Alright so if we do get him to come out, and we hit him on the road. Do we have the firepower for whatever he might be traveling in? This is an Imperial Moff after all my brothers.... Leandros(@Painus) do you know how far these rockets can penetrate?"
Wyatt wasn't trying to doubt the plan, he just wanted to make sure they did not blow their likely only opportunity to surprise the target.
"We could always wait until he is at his destination and hit the group while it is dismounted."
Wyatt said addressing the team over the squad comm channel while he placed his micro binoculars back in his pack, slid his helmet on and clipped his bowcaster to his two point sling before letting it dangle before his chest as he bent over to put on his backpack and jet pack combo.
"Kad be with us..."
He muttered to himself while walking slightly closer to the edge of the roof, still protected by a waist high duracrete railing he was not afraid of falling but rather of being seen before they sprung the trap and blowing the chance for everyone. Or worse, being torn to shreds by the anti-air turbo lasers that dotted the compounds walls.

Leandros kept an eye on the outpost’s gates, watching the guard emplacements. Traffic was indeed quite light, and the few that did come through were very clearly not the Moff and his retinue. The cavalcade that would carry their target would be fairly noticeable once it went through. Ideally, with a total of eight people in the Moff’s retinue – including himself – they would take a large troop speeder, or keep the guards in their own separate speeder while the Moff and his Sith hound went off in their own, much more luxurious speeder. These Imperial bastards enjoyed a good show, and multiple vehicles would look more intimidating to the Hapan families they terrorized.

He kept his eyes on the objective, listening to the others over their internal comms. Wyatt asked about the penetrative qualities of their wrist-mounted rockets. Leandros pondered this for a bit, considering their options, before replying. ”Va chaaj'yc. Val cuyir jate bu'yrao resa jayeritr, a mayen ti beskar'gam bal mhi cuyir nitwavi tsikador va. Val cuyir shi goore ti nahayr atida." he spoke, turning his head and walking back over towards the others.

They had plenty of explosives, it was true, but if the Moff moved in anything heavily-armored, they would be at a disadvantage. They could penetrate soft spots, of course, but the heavy armor would be barely scratched by their rockets and grenades. His idea about hitting them when dismounted could work, but involved trailing them. Did every member out here today have some kind of jet pack that could follow? Well, yes. But a quartet of flying Mandalorians was pretty kriffing obvious, nighttime or not. Still, his scatterweave would certainly help in that department. They would figure it out when the time came.

Remaining low, Leandros observed his clansmen go about their business, preparing for the mission. With a low profile, he moved over towards Narir, coming even with the man and kept an eye of his own on the outpost through his rifle scope. He hoped Silent Badger could do his thing quickly; the anticipation was killing him.

Koil rose from his crouched position of intent overwatch and moved towards a separate part of the roof. There was an communications array there. He drew his port scanner out and was about to pry open the door to the network box but hesitated. Instead he reached up and simply pulled on the latch. Despite having a lock it did not seem the last technician had even attempted to lock it. Maybe there was someone in the building that was looking to get free holo-vid streaming or was trying to make long distance calls to a lover without their spouse knowing. Whatever the case it was far easier for him to do his job now.

He had a direct line but he wanted to make sure that they were also going to be bouncing off of the other nearby towers so give an area for the imperials to search rather than an exact position. It would be bad if the Echani did the equivalent of firing a flare asking to get shot at. It was not ideal but a few more seconds was all he needed. The device was practically running itself. While he waited he connected his disposable communicator that allowed them to actually make the call when the time came. If any of his fellow clan members were curious he simply held up a hand to show them the time left. He figured they would be busy planning the specifics of the coming attack. Koil was used to listening.

By now Rud was confident that the figure he was looking at through the window was indeed the Moff they were targeting. "Got a visual on the Moff-" he told the others, "-no way to get to him, though." Kriff, he was protected by the best defenses the Imperial military could provide. He would keep watching the man, though, so he could see how he'd react to the call that Koil was manufacturing. Luckily none of his team members were unworthy of being called badgers and they were all actively searching for ways to get to this Moff and his security detail on the road. He knew Narir, Leandros and Wyatt all had more experience in fighting the Empire than he had, thus he was confident that they'd come up with a good plan and likewise he felt no need to mix in and deal out orders to men that outranked him.

Only in terms of prestige was he their equal, though the manner in which he got that prestige had given him countless sleepless nights. More than once did he think he should've stayed home and have refused Raz' call to action. He didn't know why he hadn't taken off his armor yet, or actually, he did. Missions like these where they could take out the truly bad Imperials and save innocent folk felt like they could cleanse his guilt-ridden conscience. He only hoped they would succeed.

Besides the Moff, Rud also spotted the unmoving Zabrak clad in dark clothing. There was no mistaking him. "Be aware, the Sith is a Zabrak."

Narir heard the call about seeing the Moff and the Zabrack Sith and his gun sights swiveled to look for what his partner had seen. It took a few moments, but eventually he managed to find it. Outside of his rifle's range and still quite small with the moderate magnification on his rifle, Narir could see the outline of what he figured the other Badger saw.

Copy, I see him too. No shot, he concurred from his position. No doubt their silent badger friend would be getting through the communications soon and Narir began looking for the most likely route out. There weren't many exits, and if what he'd heard about this guy was right, he was too arrogant to duck out the back door of the building, which meant he would be traveling by not far away on the street below.

He's likely to take the road below us and to my right, he said. We should get into position before the call goes out. Someone find something that can block the road in a hurry when they start coming down, he said. Explosives could work, but a full on vehicle to slam across the road would likely work better, but they couldn't put it in place until the last moment. @Painus @Rimrald @Ecclessey @Arclight @Darasuum

As he waited for the port scanner to continue he took out his knife and looked at it. He activated it for a moment, letting it hum before turning it off and re sheathing it. Tapping a few times on the device he made sure that the process was coming to an end. Behind the visor he watched the data streams on the small display before looking over towards the others. "Who's making the call?" He asked. The reticent echani did not care who did it as long as it was not him.

It would be another minute until it would be finished but by the end of it one of the Mandalorians would be able to pick up the hard wired disposable commlink and make the connection the Moff. It would not be traceable to any specific location but they did not need total anonymity since they would be in and out. These were civilian networks and quite easy to penetrate.

Hapes was a world of old architecture by design, it carried a regal presence in line with the local artistic population being situated in the capital city of Ta’a Chume’Dan only a few miles from the current location of this base and the team. They were on the outskirts as many bases even if this size tended to be separated from civilian populations, the base sat on the plains in a sparsely wooded area just at the edge of the suburban rises that made up the area in which the Mandalorians were observing from. Having taken a fire escape to the roof of a fourth floor tenement building they shared the skyline with other buildings of the same general height, a few taller but not many.

With the prompt from the Al’Verde to think of something to block the vehicle Wyatt began thinking. It would be enough of a distance for the vehicle the Moff exited in to travel before getting to their location that Wyatt could craft some plan, because it would enter the outskirts for a block before coming to their location on the road. Giving it cover from a direct retaliation from the base due to civilian targets they would have to scramble a team to respond if word got relayed.

Moving quickly with all of his equipment Wyatt moved to the backside of the building and started down the fire escape with haste. Patching into the squad net he called out.

“We can push this dumpster into the street when they come this way, maybe it’ll stop another vehicle too and cause a scene... Whoever helps me on the ground will help take on the dismounts while you two on the roof figure out how to deal with whatever else.”

Wyatt said knowing they didn’t have enough intel to take this situation with the proper planning. But he reached the dumpster which thankfully was empty aside from a bag of two, and put his back against it to begin pushing it for the exit of the alley and into the street the Moffs convoy would be coming. And hearing no response in his comm he turned to be pushing with his hands and was ready to activate his jetpack to rocket the dumpster into the passing convoy when he was aware of its presence.

Leandros observed the base as the others went about their business, preparing themselves or doing the same thing he was. Scanning the building at range with the marginal magnification on his rifle, he eventually found what looked like the Moff and his Sith hound. The others called him out, so Leandros did not feel the need to repeat what they already said. Rather, once Koil had patched into the network, he made his way over. The others looked like they were getting ready for the ambush, so he figured he ought to at least place the call and begin this whole shebang.

He stood by the hardwired commlink, ready to do his part when it was time. Koil gave him a nod, and Leandros picked up the device, removed his helmet, and cleared his throat a few times. This was it.

”Most Honorable… Moff Jenkins,” he began once the call was answered, aiming to sound as subservient as possible. He was a man, so his status would be that of a servant on this planet. ”The esteemed Lady of the House would like to discuss the… terms of “compliance” for the Emperor. We will await you, and your retinue… at the estate.”

He paused for a moment, unsure if to continue speaking or not. He was not certain what the person on the other would do or say. He tried to sound as weary and serval as he could, hoping that the trap would be set. Looking to Koil for an indicator of performance, he prayed internally for success.

Time seemed to crawl by for Moff Jenkins as he quietly anticipated a late call, savoring the terrified tears that he could hear behind him. Some might call him a monster, or a murderer. But his superiors saw him for what he was. Effective. There were few Moffs within the Imperial Republica who had quite the same level of success in bringing planets or systems into compliance with Imperial law. There were also few that matched the number of bodies he left behind in the wake of his enforcement, but such was the cost of efficiency. A cost that his superiors were more than willing to pay to stamp out dissension and unrest.

"Call coming in for you." The lazy drawl of the Zabraki Sith seeming to crawl across the room. When the man had first been assigned to Moff Jenkins as an Acolyte, Jenkins had detested him. He had been lazy and uncouth, and seemed to almost entirely lack the ambition that Sith were known for. But that was before he had realized the advantages of having a pet Sith that had little regard for advancement or betrayal. He kept the Crusader comfortable, and the Crusader protected him and killed for him. A win-win situation for the Moff.

"Put it on."

The Sith didn't move from his position leaning against Moff Jenkin's desk, nor did his eyes close. Instead, he merely waved a few fingers and the line opened up. A mere servant calling, the gall of lady Chu'natha. And expecting him to come to her. He would though, if only to see the despair in her eyes at the news of the death of one of her daughters. "I was expecting to hear from the Lady herself." True, he had been expecting for a direct call from the Lady Chu'natha herself. "Unfortunately, you are late." Not true, They still had around 45 minutes before one of the girls time expired, but the Lady needed to be punished for her disrespect. At his announcement of lateness, one of the girls began to break down into hysterics. Rolling his eyes, Jenkins raised his blaster and pulled the trigger. The noise stopped as the girl slumped over dead. Her sister was quiet, whether in shock or just glad to be the one to live Jenkins neither knew nor cared. Meanwhile a small smile tugged at the corner of the Sith's lips as he enjoyed the panicked terror and then the sudden snuffing of life that had come from the unlucky victim.

"Inform your mistress that we are on our way, also, inform her of the price of her arrogance and your incompetence," his voice sneering, "we will be bringing her only daughter and a corpse." Nodding to the Sith, who always seemed to see it whether his eyes were open or closed, there was another slight twitch of the finger and then the line was cut. Tapping a button on his wrist com, he addressed his personal guards. "Prepare a motorcade, we depart for Lady Chu'natha's. Also, send a two man team to my office with a bodybag, we will need it for one of the hostages we are bringing along." Cutting the communication, Jenkins chuckled before addressing his pet Sith. "Crusader, scout ahead while my men prepare the motorcade."

"Naturally" He drawled as he casually strolled to the door, passing the bodybag and escort team on their way in. Striding arrogantly through the base, he made his way to the vehicle bay where the motorcade of three armored transports, 2 of which were armed with a single crew manned repeater cannon each, fired from a manhole on the roof. Lightly armored to withstand small arms fire and minor explosives, they had few weakness against most infantry that weren't well equipped. The third lacked the top gun however, possessing an unopened armored roof instead. The Sith however strolled over to his swoop bike, his cape flapping as he mounted the powerful machine. Its sleek black finish lacked any shine however, the non-reflective paint's dark surface blending in well to the night sky as the bike shot out of the vehicle bay and up into the air. From above the rooftops the Sith began to scout out the route that the Moff would be taking through the city.

Narir's rifle swept over the compound, looking for signs of the enemy. He saw a speeder bike beginning to make its way out of the base, easily flitting over the buildings and Narir slunk back under a rooftop awning. So nice of the locals to leave things on the roof for their afternoon tea to sit under. In this case, it was useful for the Mandalorians.

Get in cover, he said into his comlink to the rest of the team. They didn't want to be spotted too soon. Sith on a bike. He'll need to be taken out, he said. It was going to be the tough part, but if the Sith was coming out, that meant the Moff wasn't far behind. Or at least, he guessed as much.

Their time to prep was no doubt coming to a close, and he wished he could have eliminated the Sith now, but if they moved on him, they risked not getting their target to come out of his base.

With word of the Sith's movement Wyatt stopped his pushing of the dumpster two meters from the exit of the alleyway leaving it unexposed from the road and still with enough ramp room to get good speed when he activated his jetpack for the attempt at a destructive distraction. He hunkered low putting his back to the building and his left shoulder to the dumpster obscuring himself from view of the street as well, turning his head upwards as he was between street lights and his black and red color scheme wouldn't stand out anymore than a dark figure huddled near a dumpster; a vagabond even.

He would stand and prep himself once he knew the speeder had past and awaited notification from his team of when to spring the trap, opening communications on the squads scramble set one last time for good measure.

"Kad be with us, if he's moving ahead the rest of them must be coming out... Someone give me the signal when the convoy is close so I don't miss, get set to hit it from above once I've sprung or i'll be a sitting di'kut."

Wyatt said cutting off the transmission and listening to any responses or his queue.

Leandros crouched low, listening to the Moff’s response to his call. The man had clearly just shot some girl, judging by the sounds and ominous phrasing that followed. If Leandros did not have a good reason to hate this man before, he certainly did now. Killing women and children for fear tactics? A despicable strategy, to say the least. He discarded the comm device, picking up his rifle. Using his internal comms, he relayed the information to his team, ”Kaysh cuyir olaror dayn catnat. Kaysh ganar a ver'mircit, bathas vumte b ad.”

With that said, he kept low and in the shadows, his unreflective armor aiding him in keeping hidden. Narir’s suggestion was followed by the Sith zooming along through the air on his speeder, acting as some sort of vanguard for the Moff. He kept close to his allies in cover, ready to spring their ambush. The time for preparation was coming to a swift end, and soon battle would rage all around them. He hoped and prayed that they were ready for what was to come.
