Takes place several months (possibly a year or so) after this. Interrogation thread. Zan is facilitating

❅ THEME ❅

Travel between different sectors of space could get very boring. So Zan had to find ways to entertain herself. They had stuck around Shu-Torun after she had captured that jedi and his cohort. The jedi was heavily sedated and kept secure for the time being.

Having boarded a contemptous class dungeon ship that would hold the prisoners she was assigned to been onboard both as interrogator and guard until they were transferred to a more secure and stationary facility. The basic cops and local authority that had been present on Shu-Torun had been there to make their attempts but what they tried was pedestrian and clearly not effective for someone like this, "...Elix Lorso." his name, that was about all they had been able to get thus far.

Zan would be able to give this interrogation thing a shot now that she had the man all to herself. Walking down the mostly empty halls she was not carrying much on her person at the time. Her lightsabers were on her belt along with her normal personal possessions save for her sith sword and blaster weaponry.

Two enforcers with stun blasters stood on the outside of the cell where Elix was imprisoned. He had been put in stun-cuffs and stripped of just about anything save for a set of underwear and a plain shirt. A pair of manacles had even been put around his ankles, allowing him to do little more than shuffle about his cell. As far as everyone was concerned he was a terrorist. In her hand she had the man's data-pad and his encrypted business card that had been found on his person when he was apprehended. Everything else that belonged to him had been confiscated by Zan and her troops. "Are you feeling cozy?" She said to the prisoner to start things out.

A few months ago the King of Sho-Torunn had granted him special status, praised him for defeating the Sith that had attacked the King's sanctuary and gave him the keys to taking out the sole Imperial base on the planet.

In hindsight, perhaps they should've expected a highly capable Sith to be present. Unfortunately their plan hadn't accounted for it and Elix had found himself overwhelmed by the Force before he could even lift a finger in defense. He wasn't sure what had happened to the Jedi that had accompanied him, whether he was killed, turned to the Dark Side or likewise imprisoned. Truthfully, though, Elix didn't give a bantha's ass.

He had expected his imprisonment to only take a few days, weeks at most, but then word reached the prison ship that the Emperor had died and Elix' heart sank. There was a good chance that all that knew of his arrangement were dead, leaving him nothing more that a freelance rebel in the eyes of the Empire. Kriff. Why did he get himself addicted to glitterryll in the first place...

Elix woke up more tired that when he fell asleep. As usual his constraints had prevented him from sleeping more than ten minutes at a time and his body was not only too old for these conditions, but simply too tired as well. In the first two months the withdrawal from his addictions to various spice and the continuous interrogations from imperials unskilled in its art had left him a mere shell of himself. Unable to speak coherently and always in agony, they had tortured him worse and left starving.

Now he was literally skin over bones and ghastly pale. His underwear and shirt stank of sweat and piss and his mind seemed unable to keep focus on anything so quickly did he doze off due to the sheer exhaustion.

He only vaguely noticed the Sith enter his cell and was truly oblivious to what she was holding. With some effort he turned to his side, "Kriff off-" he said, still deviant, "-I am an imperial citizen." he tried to grin, but it seemed nothing like it. He knew they didn't care that he was from a good Imperial family, especially now that Coruscant was technically part of the protectorate and not under direct Imperial control. Still, he had to try something.

She heard it all just in his tone. The resistance and desire to make her believe he would not break. She had seen it before. Men and women tried feigning toughness not because they were actually resilient and capable of withstanding torture. They had not earned the confidence they pretended. It was the opposite reason. They knew they would not last but wanted their interrogators to think it was an impossible task. Darth Valravus would not fall for the act though. She would not gift the man death and release from the pain of living.

Normally torture took time and was mostly manipulation. If she had limited time this would go differently but she had the luxury of pacing herself and making sure things were done right.

"You know that nothing gets wiped completely right? There are ways of reconstructing files even after they are deleted. Your datapad for example. It already has quite a bit of good information on it. Enough to make certain you never see natural light for the rest of your life if I wanted it. But I'm curious about what I don't see on it." She wondered if his weakened mind was able to grasp what she was infering. Darth Valravus would eventually get the other information that had been placed on the datapad that had then been deleted eventually. When that came around she might deem him not worth keeping alive or worse, keeping him alive and subjecting him to more torture that would make what happened so far look like camp.

@Ecclessey sorry for the late post
