Felix was sat crossed legged in what was the ceremonial hall at the top of the temple, it was quite he was the only one there at this hour of the night.

His hands rubbed his thighs as he took in deep breaths through his nose, "You can do this, it's just mediating you should be able to do this." he sighed as he closed began to try to meditate.

His breath slowed as he sat in silence, the ringing in his ear filling his hearing as try to focus and empty his mind but intrusive thoughts kept entering his mind. Drastus' mangled body, Dathomir and the ghost. fist formed from the flat palms on his knees, his arm jerked to the side as a force push kicked up dust in the same direction, Felix let out frustrated cry as he brought his hands his face.

Sleep had eluded the Padawan since before Kashyyyk. Of course, she often had nobody but herself to blame, it was her own connection to the Force that often fueled her insomnia. To her, emotion and life raged in the night, beacons of light and fire amidst a sea of sleeping or meditating dimness.

Rishe had long since learned to mask her noise and presence, but here on Yavin, there was less need for that kind of caution. Each step she took pierced the silence, audible only in comparison to absolutely nothing.

The ceremonial hall was poorly lit, nearly abandoned, but the moonlight that shone through illuminated a lone sitting figure, hunched and clutching his face. Distress and frustration clouded him in the Force, formed from the smoke and shadows cast by his emotional state.

It wasn't until the Padawan had knelt near the figure that she got a better look at him. Felix. One of the three unfortunate padawans to be present for Denon.

She still had her physical memories from Denon in a sling, shrouded like the rest of her body in the cloak she'd newly adopted.

"We can't carry burdens alone, Felix." Rishe said, her tone soft so as to not shatter the silence, but merely to shift it aside, "I'm right here, and I can listen if you wish, or sit in silence if you'd prefer."

She didn't try to crowd the younger Padawan, and even when a delicate approach, she still had quite the direct method. But Laeonas had been enough to teach her that pain could not be immediately healed with words or reassurance, only understanding.

Felix didn't hear the footsteps of the approaching padawan until she was practically on top of him such was the loudness of his tinnitus, his body tensed on realisation he wasn't alone, his hand falling to his sides as he glanced at the women that had knelt near him, it was another padawan from Denon, he believed she was called Rishe.

The silence hung between the two padawans for several moments before Felix broke it. "what could you know of my burdens? you don't know me" how could she know what he feels, what he hears everyday of his waking moments, the weight of his owe failures, he didn't think anyone could understand.
