As many of you will have seen, I have been away these past few months, with my workload at University having increases at the start of the new academic year. However, with things settling down I now have the time and the energy to get back in the swing of things.
Returning about a week or go following some snooping around, I noticed two things:
1. There are lots of new members in the Cartel.
2. Activity-wise, we are being shown up a tad by some of those other factions!
Now, let's do something about it. Because in several months time this story is ending, and everyone needs to be a part of it - the Cartel needs to leave it's mark!
So, I'll be forming something I like to call the "The Commission" a collection of the nastiest, hardiest, gun-slingeriest scum on the smugglers moon.
An unofficial grouping of players within the Cartel, I want to see new players under the sponsorship of Enforcer Rank players going out there, stealing, killing and slaving for the Cartel. So, if you're an Enforcer ranked member, @Ecclessey @Naruto667 @Vexillar @Nakoma Gwenelda and you fancy leading a mission, or you need one done yourself, drop me a PM and we shall get it written up for you, and underway.
BUT if you are a new member, @Raka the Hutt @Hatebackwards @Sellikus @Eldritch @M4TT and you want to make a few Credits, see your character make a name for themselves, or do something like stealing the Empresses Crown, then sign up for an existing mission below, or PM me if you have some ideas and suggestions.
Please Note: The Commission has no assets or power outside of those assets held/operated by its members, and is simply a "gentlemens agreement" of criminals.
I'll be coming up with a few missions, which can be seen below, as well as putting up an OPEN thread (with a set of rules) in it as well for the commission and it's members to meet and talk about business.
The timeline will be ending in a few months, and we can ensure the Cartel plays a pivotal role in how this story ends. Whilst the top brass can direct the war fleet, we - the foundations on which the Cartel is built - can get out there, form alliance, cause havoc, spread our corruption into Imperial Space, and most of all, ensure the Cartel profits no matter what the final chapter is.

Nestled at the heart of every bountiful fruit, there is a rotten core, and the Hutt Cartel is no different. The 'Commission' to give it its proper name, presides over the enforcement of the Cartels will on the smuggler moon of Nar Shaddaa, enacting the so called justice of the Hutts at the end of a Vibro-Blade, or come to think of it, anything they have to hand at the time. Consisting of the cruelest, strongest, most infamous enforcers and prospects the Cartel has to offer, the Commission makes for an informal network of Galactic Scum, united behind the sole desire for greater profits, and the solidification of the Cartels power on their cantankerous moon.
Made up of a diverse array of species, large and small, the Commission is controlled and directed by a board of Enforcers, who represent a variety of Criminal Interests, bring together a wealth of expertise and resources (both material and otherwise), to ensure the mutual gain of all. Headed up by a 'Chairman'(Hutt), the Commission serves as a meeting ground, a 'steering group' for the shared goals of its members, sponsoring Prospects within the Cartel, and fostering ever more ambitious and savage endeavors across the Galaxy.
Consisting of various members, plots, ploys, affiliates and noted deeds, the Commission is the blunt hammer by which the Cartel ensures the loyalty of its Gangs, Swoopers and Dealers on Nar Shadaa and beyond.
Operations and Activities
Plain and simple, Protection and Enforcement is what the Commission is truly about. Ensuring the loyalty of the various criminal groups on Nar Shadaa occupies a great deal of the time of it's members, for the duty of an Enforcer lies in its name - Enforcement. Making sure gangs pay their fees, do their job, and do not get caught, it key in the operational work of the Commission.
Put bluntly, the Commission is a board consisting of the organisations headed up by its members. Collectively they use their thuggery to loan shark, run protection rackets and perform debt collection on parts of Nar Shaddaa. Individually their organizations perform a variety of activities across the Galaxy on behalf of the Cartel from drug running, slavery and trafficking, contract killing, bounty brokerage and fencing stolen goods.
Alongside this however, due to the daring nature of its board members, the Commission also carries out its own heists and crimes off-world, using the networks of its members to facilitate such deeds. It also mediates disputes and fueds between its enforcers, so as to ensure the group adheres to the Cartels shared goal of mutual gain and profit.
Structure and Members
The structure of the Commission is very simple, and divided into two parts. The Enforcers, who share the rank of their name in the Cartel, form the Commissions 'Board' Chaired by one of their number who simply acts as a mediator for disputes and meetings. Each member of the Board may do their own thing, peacefully with other members. Below them lie Prospects, contractors of the Cartel who carry out missions and duties for the Enforcers, in exchange for Credits.
Operating out of their shared meeting space in the back-alleys of Nar Shaddaa, a simple back room of a Casino, the Commission spreads the Cartels will through the work of its members, beating rebellious gang into submission, the moment they step out of line.

Nor'baal Vesajlic Diori - Chairhutt of the Commission - Enforcer
''The death mark in 12 systems? How cute, I've lost count how many systems want me dead.''
Famous/Infamous throughout the Cartel as a Hutt both duplicitous in nature and in deed, the Hutt now goes under the name ''Old One-Eye'' making it a public secret that he is involved in the Commission. Famed for once being Tatooines de facto Crime Lord, as well as his involvement in the formation of the Cartel, Nor'baal is a Hutt to be reckoned with.
Davik Lorso - Overseer of Kessel - Enforcer
''I've killed more people with spice that the rebellion has won battles against the empire.''
Known by many as the 'Overlord of Kessel', Davik Lorso made his name in the invasion that retook the Spice Mines for the Cartel, out of the grasp of the Imperials. Before this however, he was helping to bring the planet of Wrea under the Hutt Cartels malignant influence. A cunning businessman, with a nack for getting the job done, Mr Davik Lorso is not a man you want to cross.

R'Kayza Moor - Sadist of Sadath'ra - Prospect
''Didn't even get a scream out of him!''
Starting out life in the Cartel as a debt collector for the Hutt Nor'baal, this Houk has secured a name as 'the Sadist of Sadath'ra, and the 'Butcher of Badab' due to his horrific acts of savagery and violence. Wanted for over 200 suspected killings, the Houk is a prime example of the raw unbridled fury of crime when released on the enemies of the Cartel. talented in Combat, and merciless in his execution, R'Kayza is deadly.
MISSIONS
Name: Cleaning the Streets
Location: Nar Shadaa
Information: Laxity is a curse, no matter in which part of the Galaxy it takes shape and forms root. Nar Shadaa is no different, and the streets on the lower levels have become a nesting place for lazy criminals who forget their loyalties to the Cartel. We need everyone pulling their weight in the weeks and months to come, so go out there, and stir up some trouble. Knock some heads together, and make these scum see who they work for. You're Enforcers, so take some men, and go out and Enforce!
Objective: Train up the men, by killing some of the disloyal Gang leaders in the streets near the Commission meeting room.
Participants: 3+ (at least one enforcer is needed)
Name: Bringing the Big Guns
Location: Imperial-Hutt Border
Information: A private arms company is making a shipment of some heavy war droids, artillery and heavy munitions. It briefly passes through neutral space on the demarcation line between us and the Imperials. Stop them, board and take everything within reach before they leave our space.
Objective: Board the Ship before it crosses the Boarder, and take everything it has.
Participants: 2+
Name: A Head Start
Location: Makeb
Information: Fraud is such an odd term, so subjective. An associate of Mr Lorsos however, wants to see some carried out. Recently, he came into possession of an old 'Head'. Yes, that is right, a Head. Mr Lorso has found a collector who buys sith artifacts, so go and take the head to him, and sell it to him as a 'Sith Head of a Proud Master'. I am pretty sure you can do it, I mean, it's just a head right?
