APPEARANCE:
He has black short, straight hair, blue eyes and lightly tanned skin. He has broad shoulders and is of an average build, weight and height at 5'10 and 180lbs and is toned from training.
ATTRIBUTES:
His one true loyalty lies within his family, with everything and everyone else being second. Avan is not very well educated but is not unintelligent and is a quick learner and is open-minded which works well in his favour when trying to understand someone and their beliefs but makes him more likely to change his own beliefs, also making him hypocritical at times.
He is stronger than average because of years of manual labour on the farm but not overly so and has a lack of respect for authority, he respects people for who they are but does not respect someone purely because they are higher ranking than him in social class or in the Order which makes him seem like he is rebellious or has an attitude problem at times, but he doesn't.
PERSONALITY:
Friendly and charming, Avan doesn't have any problems making friends but can just as easily lose them by being outspoken if they don't like what he has to say and has no problem standing up for someone in need. He is not arrogant, having come from a simple, lower class background, but sometimes likes being the centre of attention.
Avan is generally calm, especially when confronted but when insulted he is easily annoyed and won't let it go without giving an insult in return. He is brave but doesn't always tend to be rational when in a challenging situation as his mind easily wanders. He is confident in his capabilities but is not one to brag as he is aware that not everyone had the opportunities he did.
BIOGRAPHY:
Avan grew up on a farm in Corellia with his parents and his cousin Reuben after his uncle's death and aunts's turn to the dark side, where he was taught the ways of the trade and ended up doing most of the work around the farm as his parents were overprotective of his cousin and didn't often let him out in fear of his safety, leaving Avan feeling always second best. He had a relatively normal upbringing up until the age of fifteen when he joined the Jedi.
When word about the Jedi order began to spread, his parents contacted the Jedi who found both boys to be force sensitive and with permission they took Reuben and Avan on to train as padawans, despite Avan's reservations about it. The pair were inseparable at first but grew apart as they got older and had different priorities, though they are still very close. Avan was left feeling unfulfilled by the Order and questioned leaving it.
SKILLS:
Has the potential to become adept at using the force but has quite a basic understanding and usage of it, focusing mostly on lightsaber combat where he is at his strongest and favouring the more aggressive forms of combat such as form IV: Ataru.
