Personality
Saerina is very reserved in large groups or around people she doesn't know well, but is open and warm with those she cares about. Being a highly visual person, she has a strong appreciation for the aesthetic and is always looking for physical or symbolic beauty in her surroundings. She loves to create things and often gets bursts of inspiration at seemingly random times.

She has been a Jedi long enough that their culture has become a significant part of who she is. She believes strongly in the Jedi philosophy and it has shaped her thinking over the years. Saerina never doubts the Jedi cause, though she sometimes doubts her ability to properly live as a Jedi. Being one who gets distracted easily and loves her own personal ideas, she sometimes finds the rules of the Jedi Order constricting- even if she believes in them and understands the reasoning behind them.

Saerina is extremely caring and passionate, so she loves to help people and try to enrich their experience. She sees life as being full of beauty and wants to help others see it that way. Even though she is quiet and reserved, she depends a lot on the important people in her life and gets attached to people easily. She has a hard time accepting the Jedi Order's ideals of emotional coolness, and is afraid of losing or displeasing the people she cares about.

Psychological Profile: ISFP- The Artist. (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving) Quiet, but emotional and spontaneous. Loves concrete information, and deeply values her own and other peoples' feelings. Warmhearted, loves people, but needs to be alone when processing information. Good at remembering details and likes to live life at her own pace.
Biography
(This is sort of a rough draft, I'm sure I'll add details later.)
Saerina was born on Alderaan to parents that were involved in the local government. She doesn't remember much of her life there, since she was little more than a toddler when the Jedi found her on a peacekeeping mission. They found her playing with one of their lost lightsabers- even though it was on full power she managed not to hurt herself with it. Sometimes she wishes she remembers her family, but she sees the Jedi themselves as her family. For a while she trained without a master, attending classes and being involved in group training.

Around the age of thirteen she found a master who agreed to personally train her, and for the most part she had a pretty smooth training experience. At a very young age she built her own lightsaber- blue and double-bladed with the crystals exposed. The lightsaber has always been what made Saerina feel connected to the Force, and learning how to use it was the thing that came most naturally to her. She had a difficult time grasping the more abstract, internal nature of the Force, but her master helped her overcome this. Now she is strong enough in the Force as any competent Jedi Knight, but, being a true Jedi Guardian, is the more skilled in lightsaber combat than anything else.

She went on many missions as a Padawan, since she and her master were both fans of hands-on experience. Some of them posed extremely difficult ethical dilemmas that tested her understanding of the Jedi Code. The completion of one of these more difficult missions led to her moving on to become a Jedi Knight. Now that she has just recently achieved this rank, her struggle has become finding her purpose within the Jedi Order. She wants to be more than just another body with a lightsaber, but hasn't yet discovered what this greater purpose might be.

Any feedback is welcome! This profile is not complete yet but I think I've got the most important stuff. As we find out more about the new timeline I'm sure I'll add or change things.

I'd suggest coming up with your Master's name just as a basis to mention. The young Jedi Knight is usually mentioning their Master/wondering what he/she would think about their choices now that they're alone. Also gives you a way of writing more backstory for yourself and fill out your biography if you wanted to do more of that. You could always have had your Master go off and do his/her own thing and hasn't been seen since they left and your character find a purpose in finding the truth behind that while in a way combating the ethics of the Order of serving your purpose as a Knight. You said she struggles a bit with not knowing her family/what happened to them and having her go to Alderaan to discover that (bit against the philosophy of the Jedi at that time, if it's KotOR style Jedi Council; not a determined Jedi Code/Tenant yet so could be different.)

Although with being a Knight you can sort of choose your missions/destiny and figuring out what that next step for her to be once the Timeline starts could be a great starting point. @Rev Thanks for your input, I appreciate it! :) I'm actually in the middle of working that out right now- Ral Aran's Jedi character is her Master and we are currently figuring out what their relationship was like and how they met and everything. And I agree, it really helps to solidify the character's backstory.
