i'm in. as far as qualifications-

1) i have several ideas, ask Santoro since i bugged him constantly for my first month of membership, and then ask Radzkie cuz i bugged him for the following month of my membership here lol.

2)absolutely i can compromise, my word doesnt mean bupkiss without approval and agreement.

3)of course i'll work with others, i would prefer it that way anyway, another opinion is always necessary as it sees things i dont/cant

4) i have too much frickin time. give me somthing to do for christs sake :P

I think the resume thing is silly. I'm pretty sure the staff know what we're capable of.

But they don't know what I'm capable of. I'm sure if they put just a little faith in me that I would not disappoint.

I'd like to nominate myself for inclusion in the Think Tank. I'm a relatively new member, but I do believe that I possess the qualities needed to really contribute ideas to the new Story Line. While I am not as familiar with the later part of the Legacy era (Cade Skywalker and Darth Krayt) I have owned, borrowed, or gotten my hands on just about every single Star Wars book (including tech compendiums and the like) from the Old Republic Era through to the Fate of the Jedi book series. I don't feel bad for saying that I spend way too much time on Wookieepedia just going through pages to expand my understanding of the technology, the cultures, and the lifeforms that fill the Star Wars Galaxy. Combining the two, I would like to think that I have a good idea of many different aspects that have gone into the creation of the vibrant Universe we want to explore and make a future in with the new timeline.

I'm also someone who really enjoys character driven story and world, where the setting is almost entirely effected by the actions and choices of the people living in it.... which is exactly what I think we want on this site since we are Role Playing in uncharted territory with no definitive end point. Because of that, I'm in favor of a setting where we have a clearly defined grasp on the tech, species, and history available for us to build up on, but we need to have an open enough vision beyond the basic battle lines (that could and possibly should change over the course of the Story line as factions are filled, battles are won, and negotiations and back-room dealing begins ) and factions we can all join.

As a former customer service rep, I know that compromise is the only real way to achieve any positive results (and to avoid ripping a dumb customer's head off). Communication is key, and while I may feel strongly about ensuring that core elements of Star Wars (the deception inherent in the Sith and all their dealings, the conflict between the Dark and Light of the Force, and possible triumph over adversity) remain in the basic premise of the Story Line, I know for a fact that my ideas may not be likeable by some (or maybe a lot) of people and may not be useable. I just want the opportunity to present those ideas and maybe make an impact on this really awesome site. Because I know that my ideas are not the best, I'm perfectly willing to work with the other 13 people to ensure that the end result of the think tank is one that will lead to the most interesting and fun universe for our characters to build and mess around in.

I am currently unemployed and school doesn't start until August.... it's basically been two months of me either cleaning up my house or being on this site.... and I'd really like something useful to do xD

Also, to everyone else - remember that, even if you don't end up being chosen for the Think Tank, people are pretty open to ideas around here.

As far as I'm concerned, while it is similar to that of a job interview, I doubt the admins want to read through a dozen posts that contain ''a list of reasons why I'm better than everyone else'', or however you'd interpret it.

They'll make desicions based on whats required, a creative mindset, decent level of activity, experience and impressions.

If you do not get chosen, you still have a large degree of creative space in your own characters, if a particular faction you desired to form cannot be done, now you can do so in independant factions.

So don't think you're being limited when not being chosen, if anything all fourteen members will work to make sure you have as much of a free creative process as possible, within reason.

Well, put it this way, if the staff doesn't know what you're capable of, it's unlikely they're going to pick you based on one post in this thread alone, however eloquent and convincing it is.
