tbh, the only reason I noticed the difference in territory was because I was fiddling around with a starmap this morning and noticed the massive difference in size between Republic space and Hutt space. I double checked with a few other starmaps, then came and posted the new information.

Ultimately, it's up to corporations to decide whether or not they want to try to leave. Just bear in mind, the blockades will not allow you to pass under any circumstances.

Only authorized military traffic is permitted. Any ship not with the Republic Military is going to be stopped and inspected, then forced to turn around and go back to Republic space.

It's impossible to patrol the entire border. If they want to, they'll get through, it'll just be more of a hassle.

I'd like to add while the Republic has a larger customer pool, the Hutt's have no labour laws, no product restrictions, etc.

It's a very enticing offer to businesses chafing under the Republic.

Google image search too. Steer clear of the ones used for Star Wars Galaxies and the Empire At War, though; I've heard bad things about misplaced planets in those maps. Someone else might know more about that.
