DESCRIPTION​

The Atlatl-class starhopper is a common type of two-seat utility spacecraft manufactured by the venerable Koros Spaceworks corporation. The Atlatl joins the already somewhat crowded twin-seat starhopper category, although it has proven to be one of the more popular offerings from its manufacturer, selling in respectable quantities.

13 meters in length with a delta-shaped fuselage and tall vertical fin, the Atlatl has the light armament common to most ships of its type, consisting of a single nose-mounted medium laser cannon. Top speed is 100 MGLT, and maneuverability is decent. Although the Atlatl was not strictly designed to fight proper starfighters, it can hold its own with a skilled pilot. Cargo capacity is 150 kilograms, and the ship can fly with a single pilot, although a passenger/copilot can be carried as well.

Notably, the Atlatl is considered a highly durable machine, with little in the way of maintenance required for long-duration standby. They are a favorite of planetary defense militias in remote systems.
