PERSONALITY: ​

Astra is a fairly confident woman who seeks to bring peace to the galaxy; this has earned her the nickname "de Aurora" or "Of the Dawn". Once she is focused on a mission, she loses herself in her search in righteousness in order to serve "the better good". When she meets new folk on her travels, she treats most with respect unless they mistreat her and after which she will treat them the way they treat her. When she goes into battle or a duel, she fights with a cold resolve that she will serve her cause until it has been one. Her determination can also be her downfall, as she refuses to give up easily. She has deemed that her skills and aspirations would be best used by the Jedi so she seeks them out as she travels the universe.​

HISTORY: ​

Astra Solgois was born to a standard family on Coruscant with an ordinary childhood. As a young teenager, she and her twin brother, Astri Solgois, snuck onto a transport to escape the repetitiveness of their lives. For months after that, she and her brother would travel to planets all over the Republic where they would spend a few months scavenging and learning whatever skills they could before raising enough money to buy a ticket, or usually sneaking on board, for a ship to a new planet. On one of these trips on board however, Astri was caught and shot to death by an angry smuggler, leaving Astra stranded on her home planet of Coruscant. Now fifteen, Astra began to look for work, for honest pay in order to take care of herself, with no desire to return to her parents. She would serve as a waitress some nights in cantinas and on other nights, she would clear out warehouses full of disgusting nocturnal vermin.​

Two years passed, and as every day passed by, she wanted to be filled with a sense of purpose in her life. She began to take on more dangerous contracts, some of which ended up with a duel against some minor criminal. It wasn't a worthwhile career however, and she turned back to her previous jobs. Everything changed the night she saw two Jedi in a cantina whilst waitressing. A bar fight had started and these two men suddenly flashed out their lightsabers and ended it so quickly without even using their weapons. They had spoken of peace, and that alone had calmed the patrons. Astra found her purpose that night; she would so whatever she could to become a Jedi Knight, and she would bring peace to the world.​
