Assault on Bandomeer

Ferrus stood on the bridge of his ship, The Imperium. The streaks of hyperspace flew by the bridge monitor, and Ferrus couldn't help but liken them to millions of souls...the way it felt during a battle, when suddenly thousands upon thousands of lives were lost. Perhaps today would claim just as many lives. A lieutenant rouses Ferrus from his reflections.

"Lord Ferrus. We are almost to Bandomeer, and The Ferrata and The Equestrius report no problems. All is in ready."

Ferrus doesn't acknowledge the officer with more then just a small grunt, and keeps his eyes fixed on the lights spiraling past his ship. The speed and frequency of said lights is slowing down though...they are close.

(OOC: I'm NPCing the defences, Sabre asked me.)

The surface of Bandomeer, rocky and oceanic went by it's normal day. For all the native Meerians knew, it would be a day where nothing spectacular would happen. The people went about, not expecting anything, howwever it did not feel like a normal day, something was different, not the same; however they knew not of what it was.

ooc: Nice names for the ships Raven...

"The Ferrata? Whoever named this ship must be an idiot, we're giving this hunk of junk a christianing, it is now, The Black Blade." A couple soldiers nodded toward the speaker and then moved about their usual duties. The speaker turned around at that moment, to face the viewport, his emerald eyes glaring out watching the stars streak by. The reflection of his face smiled at him in the viewport, and spoke with such a manipulative and charming voice. Today, yet another world will be taken, another world added to this Empire, be proud Necrosis, to be a part of this. Be proud to be a Sith...

Spinning around away from the reflection, he nodded, and continued his way to the back of the deck, heading to the living quarters. The metallic left leg clanging slightly on the deck floor. This would indeed be a day to remember.

OOC: It's Latin, and less cliche then "The Black Blade" :P

BIC: Ferrus gives an icy glare towards the men who had acknowleded Necrosis.

"I am in Command. I name the ships. They are The Imperium, The Ferrata, and The Equetrius."

No one questioned The Sith Lord.

The small fleet finally emerged from hyperspace, and descended upon their unsuspecting pray.

"Launch all starfighters. Engage any frigate-class or higher ship with our own Capital Ships, along with any orbital defenses."

Raven's plan was quick, though not exactly bad. He'd have to wait to see just what Bandomeer had to offer in the way of defense.

OOC: Make sure you post all of your ship numbers and what not in your next post please :)

ooc: I'm going to assume you and I are on the same ship now, as apparently you just acted as though we were.

He frowned, and turned around immediately. Ferrus just said he was in command? Oh, he was quite mistaken, and would soon be put in his place. No one other than Udun and Nefarius could command Necrosis, no one other than them could control Necrosis.

His emerald eyes alit with fire as he stepped toward the insolent fool, in one swift movement he had thrown up his hand to grasp a hold of Ferrus' neck with his metallic hand, which would not be batted away, it was too fast, and too strong. At any moments time, the Sith Lord was prepared to draw his blade, and plunge it directly into the heart of this man, without regret, nor remorse. Afterall, the Sith were strong for a reason, they didn't let the weak take charge. "You are not in charge here Ferrus, we both may be Sith Lords, but I could just as easily spit, as kill you. Are we clear?"

ooc: Don't make this into a duel Raven, we have things to do here, and you don't want to die just yet. At least, I would think not. There is no one in this faction except Sabre and Sin's characters, who would even have a chance against Necrosis.

Ferrus smiles, and Necrosis inturn feels cold metal pressed to his gut. Ferrus' left hand grasps his lightsaber, ready to activate and impale Necrosis at a moment's notice.

"Perhaps...you may want to read this?"

A small datapad floats to Necrosis' face, it activates without a touch. On the screen is the mandate of Bandomeer's capture. Near the bottom however, it also states specifically Lord Ferrus is incharge. It is signed with Lord Udun's seal.

OOC: By the order of Sabre, Lord Necrosis. ;) And sorry for switching you over to my ship. It was easier that way. :3:

He smiled right back. "I see..." Without another second, Ferrus' hilt went skittering away from him through help of the Force, and Necrosis shoved forward with his metal hand, pushing his fellow Sith Lord away from him at the exact moment. "Don't ever threaten me again Ferrus, you may have command, but your days in the darkness are days filled with blood." Winking at him the former Heir left the deck, heading to his personal shuttle, where he would take off and board his own ship, the one dubbed The Ferrata.

Moments after boarding, he reached the main deck, and assumed control at once, turning to the soldiers under his command. "This ship, now has a new name, Nex of Nubnuba."

Raven smiles slightly as he massaged his throat. His lightsaber slides back into his belt with the force.

Heh., was all his mind could think of. Perhaps Necrosis had disarmed his lightsaber, but a small glint showing between Ferrus' fingers proved Ferrus was not completly defenseless. After his inward chuckle, Ferrus turns himself to the view screen, awaiting Bandomeer's reaction.

Some ship appeared to be floating above the Planet of Bandomeer, people were not the only one that had noticed the ships hovering above the rocky land, more and more people began pointing as a pile of ships appeared to be heading just above the surface. Exactly who were these people and what did they want?

Meerians looked up, one after another, wondering what could be happening on this fateful day.

(OOC: Sabre asked me to post, so sorry if I interupted anything between you two.)

OOC: Meh...you maybe stopped us from killing each other.

BIC: Ferrus orders the planetary bombardment to commence, and all ground-personell make ready for assault.

OOC: I'm sorry, that's not much. I really need more to go on though.

ooc: Since you're in charge, maybe you should post what HAPPENS during the bombardment... as in ships firing and such... Just an idea.

Maybe instead of being whiney bitches could you, oh I don't know, maybe take the fucking planet.

All three capitol ships commenced firing at almost the exact same time. Turbo lasers of all sorts, from the Wayland, Sith, and Kalee began pouring out onto the surface of Bandomeer, lashing through it's atmosphere and shattering into the ground, taking everything with it in a blaze of multiple colours, a truly dazzling light show. Civilians died instantly, while others, the lucky ones, took hits from falling debris, and died only moments after.

Necrosis stood watching, from the main deck of Nex of Nubnuba. He watched in glory as there was nothing to stop them, as of yet, there had been no defensive tactics of any kind, nor any type of government vessel spotted. It had seemed this would be a clean kill, though the day was not yet over, ground troops were to be positioned for take over after the bombardment. All around, ships were readying troops, shuttles, and everything needed, as the three capitol ships continued pounding the planet.

ooc: If anyone has a quarrel with any of this, just let me know, it's been quite awhile since I've done full scale ship stuff. I'm more of a 'hands on' guy. Lol.

OOC: Lol. I like Sabre's solution. I was waiting to react to Jar Todur, since tradtionally you'd push aside all defenses before bombarding the planet. Course...just now rereading it I noticed he said "Some ship appeared to be floating above the Planet of Bandomeer". Since he didn't use plural I assumed he was in a ship defending the planet, but he was instead refering to our ships. Sorry :)

BIC: "Prepare to launch the groundtroops, and ask Lord Necrosis to accompany them.", mutters Ferrus absentmindedly to an aid. He watched the fire and lasers blossom, and knew with every explosion was another life lost. It felt good being an evil bastard.

At Ferrus' word, shuttles began to unload from the three ships, and form up for their descent.

OOC: Bleh...I would do more but it feels really odd having no real reaction to anything we're doing.

ooc: NOW we wait for Jaime, he didn't NPC any ships, it's his fault, not our's. It's his job to make up the defenses, he apparently just thought it would be appropriate to NPC the casulties, lol.

(OOC: I thought I would make it easier for you to get over with this mission.)

IC: As turbolasers hit through the planety, destruction came almost a second later. What felt like an hour to some, a defense from many standing towers shooting many of the same weapons back at the dark Ship hovering above the rocky land. Afterall, Bandomeer was not a very advanced thechnological planet, it was in fact quite slow. Never the lessa small army of defenses in the reign attempted to assasinate the planet, some hit their desired targets, some did not. It was only a matter of time that darknesss hovered above the world.

(OOC: I'm just saying that some hit their targets, you two should easily destroy those defences. I'm just a NPC, so I don't care if it gets taken ATM.)

OOC: *shrug*

IC: Ferrus waits until the word of the defenses being fully engaged or destroyed comes in. After recieving said info, he gives the commands for the dropships to enter the planet's atmosphere and begin their attacks. Surronding them is light fighter cover, but behind them is a whole fleet of bombers, like a dark cloud ready to lash out with its thunder.

The troops fled across the land, like rabid wolves pouncing on it's oray. The pray obviously being the planet Bandomeer, the wolves obviously being the attackers. No-one knew who or what these people wanted. They did not disobey the orders that the soldiers shouted, what was the pojnt; they would only wind up dead, the people of Bandomeer would rather be alive and serving someone evil than be dead and not living their life. What would become of them after this tribe of people had taken over the Planet? A few people did offer resistance, howevr only to be shot down.

A army of troops stood awaiting at the temple, that some Jedi visited, it was obviously only a small temple, not many Jedi had ever been there, actually they hadn't been there in a long time. They stood awaiting, with defenses still firing up at the ships that hovered.

(OOC: I know I ain't making it very hard for you, but I figure I am just being nice.)

The Sith do not bother to storm the temple, instead they'd rather simply level it. Bombers are called in to soften up the defenses. After that is accomplished, some of the limited artillery pieces are brought in to finish the job. No real problems. Ferrus begins to recieve word that the planet is being subdued at a quick pace. That is good. Quick paces are always best.
