OOC: This is a training thread for my character, Zergo Vourin. If you are interested in taking Zergo as an apprentice or training with him, please send me a message.
_______________

The galaxy is contaminated and plagued with people who see ignorance, indecision, and weakness as a way of life. Some of these people, like the Republic and the Jedi, are even privileged, hailed for these disgusting ways life. This had to change, for the good of the galaxy, thought Zergo as he looked at the Sith Temple before him, the detail of it slightly hidden beneath the dust of the Korriban desert. It is unnatural, he believed, for the weak to be in such a position - terrible in fact. They are a scourge upon the galaxy. It could be said that favoring such despicable traits is bringing down the galaxy's potential for advancement. Only the fit should survive - those who were observant, knowledgeable, strong, and omnipotent. If I do not do something to rid the galaxy of the Republic and the Jedi, I would be doing the galaxy - and its people - a grave injustice. The successful future of the galaxy depended on it.

He ran a hand through his long, black hair and spit into the sand next to his feet. He was ready to begin his new path and become a Sith - to amplify his power, and do what was natural... to rid the galaxy of the plague of ignorance and weakness which was destroying it.

Zergo felt right at home within the temple; something was just right - it was his true home, which somehow evaded him across the past 21 years. As he walked through the temple, he brushed off the grains of sand which the wind pelleted him with while he was outside. He currently had no formal master, but his will to better himself and survive over the weak was good enough for him. He had a mission to complete which was larger than himself. Zergo was not a mindless killer - he thought before he acted and had beliefs and creeds much deeper than trivial killing. Unlike most people, he did not believe the Sith were heartless killers without a soul. No - they were here for the good of the galaxy, and soon enough, he would be among their ranks.

Before he visited the Chambers of Heresies, the great Sith archives on Korriban, he found an empty training room. He went to the middle of the room, and sat down on the cold stone floor. He shut his eyes, drained out the distractions of everyday life, and began to look inside. Zergo began to become awfully aware of his consciousness, his soul, and his presence within the force. If he was to be what he set out to be, he could not be ignorant of the world. More importantly, however, he had to be aware of himself. That was what he set as the first step of his training - to become more aware of himself, to understand himself, and to become fully aware of the force around him and within him.

The force was a beautiful creature. It defined life, and to those who evolution favored, it was an amazing tool for power and dominance over the weak. Zergo's pulse slowed as he came to a serene calmness when the force flowed through his body. It was a similar experience to the sensation he felt when he took the life soup from his former master - it was so natural, so powerful, and so right. Goosebumps began to prickle from his sin from the power he was taking on, and the feeling of pure, uncontaminated power was almost like a drug to him. Most believed that there were two sides of the force, light and dark. Zergo, and ones who were wise, knew that this was just a misconception, spawned by Republic and Jedi lies, as well as ignorant Sith. There was a single force; the lightness and darkness of it was defined by an individual's perception and their use of the force. The Jedi were the ones who were truly dark, scourging the galaxy with their lies, deceit, and ignorance.

Once fully aware of himself and his convictions through the force, he extended his presence to the external environment. Through training, he hoped to be able to control the forces around him.

All force-sensitives had some amount of power to work with - some more than others. What truly separated the strong from the weak, however, was an individual's ability to grasp and take control of their well of power, and such should be the ultimate goal of training.

Zergo gradually became aware of the environment around him - the cold stone tiles, the steel supports, and the presence of other beings throughout the academy. It took him awhile to make the transition from self examination to the force-examination of the outside world. His ultimate goal was to be able to extend his force presence from himself to the outside environment in a fast and hasty manner, and even hold his force power in both internal and external environments, the definition of true mastery - to be adept and exceptional in the force, one had to be fully aware of both his internal and external environments, and be able to extend his power at will.

While examining this environment, Zergo began to simultaneously build up his inner force presence while training to maintain that of which he was extending outwards. Sweat began to drip off his face - it was a hard feat to initially do when he was not conditioned to doing it. Soon, however, he would be. The level he wished to reach was eventually maintained - he became fully aware of the force both within him and outside of him. The conditioning of his power, and the amplification of it, could now only come from the execution of it - utilizing force abilities while maintaining one's force presence, as well as awareness.

The cold air stung hard against the cracked face of the Sith Acolyte Yuon. The foggy clouding had encapsulated him totally from view, as he sit calmly on one of the ledges of the large temple on Korriban. His cloak ruffled so peacefully behind him, his face distorted with the pressure of trying to control his own agony to focus in. He had opted for such a position for its peacefulness, and at the same time hostile ambience, this helped fuel is own presence.

His closed eyelids twitched as his eyes moved rapidly, he was totally unaware of his physical surroundings now, only the force was with him. He saw it, he was moving through the academy, a black veil closing over his perception as he moved with a quick and calculated haste. His training with Sogar had come along well in the past few weeks, and he had in his own meditation, masters his own ability to reach out with the force, while only weak it was a more physical representation of himself that he could manifest, just not visible. with the eye, more felt.

He was looking for someone, namely Sogar, but in his haste he had discovered something else, another.. one who could reach out so with the force. Yuon moved his presence quickly to one of the training rooms, in which is dark ambience hovered over the lone Sith Acolyte, his pain and agony emitting from him, as always. He leaned in, a cracked smiled weeping over his physical form from atop the academy, before he opened his eyes, releasing his deep connection to the force, and rising. It was time ..

The reservoir of life and power, the force, was rushing around him, pulsating like a heart, as it fed in and out of him. He was at an understanding, and almost at a peace, which he never reached with the Jedi. Now that he was free, and he broke his chains from the visage of Jedi ignorance, he could finally become aware. And in this awareness, Zergo felt another individual searching through the force. And then, it was almost as if this individual touched him through the force - he was coming for him. No, it was not a challenger - not yet - but another soul, like Zergo's, who was seeking truth in the ways of the Sith. If this individual was truly determined, he would come to Zergo. His eyes remained shut, his back remained straight, and his emotions ever calm. While waiting, Zergo continued his dance with the force, manipulating it, and conditioning himself to his new method of control.

Yuon moved with an unnatural haste, blurred in the shroud of darkness and fog as he move down the side of the temple, with a quickly and calculated manoeuvre, taking care every so often as to not misplace his stepping, and suffer the volley of a tumble. The wind winced against his skin, as his he leapt down from the main section head of the temple and hitting the dusty floor with a thud, his cloak finally falling down, a delayed response to the pressure of his own movements. He gazed around, no one was about, not even Stormtroopers.

Quickly, while he was still under the shroud of darkness and his cloak and moved into the temple, making a quick haste, passing a couple of Acolytes who sneered and laughed at Yuon as he made his way towards the training hall he had seen the other Acolyte in. He had no idea if he would still be there, but it was worth a check. There was something about this particular student that interested him and I felt he could leech from him, like parasite, just like he had done with Sogar, of course, Yuon was one to return a favour whence given and he would offer to aid the fellow Acolyte in his training, should he request. After all, individuals where more willing to offer more knowledge in return for knowledge.. and Yuon learnt this the hard way.

He turned a quick corner, moving into a small atrium adorned with numerous banners and statues, figures of the Sith Lords of the Order. Yuon shunned, such Narcissism was not a true way of the Sith, such Sith didn't require there figure to be idolised in stone. He sniggered to himself, before turning into a small hallway and quickly turning right. Now standing in the doorway of the training hall, facing whoever may lie inside.

Zergo felt this figure moving through the temple, trying to stick to the shadows and avoid the others within the temple. It seemed like this person had no self confidence - afraid of his own brethren, and now, he was standing in the doorway of Zergo's training quarters. Zergo analyzed him through the force, taking in the individual's shaky, yet still dark, presence.

"What type of Sith fears his own brethren?" said Zergo, his eyes still closed in meditation, "it is a sign of weakness, and only the strong should survive," the Anzat said in a sharp voice. Rising to his feet, the towering, muscular figure which Zergo was stood up straight. "I may only be an acolyte, but I know what I am, and what I will become. Fear and doubt will only hold you back. I broke my chains when I killed my Jedi Master." Zergo was doubtful of this acolyte - but there was hope yet. They could train together - it could work. And perhaps, given grooming, he could find an ally - or pawn - to help him build and the Sith build a galaxy they could be proud of.

Yuon let his cracked a broken smile. He stood for a few moments, before letting out a small hiss. He did not fear his brethren, by anything he stuck to the shadows out of lack of wanting to waste time, dealing with those weaker than him. But he was not strong either, this individual said he killed his Jedi Master, and he knew such a feat was not easily attainable. He could use this individual as an ally, even as a master one day, and with his aid he could and would, free himself from Sogar, and when the time came, rid himself of this individual.

He bowed his head, a slight respectful stance, before speaking with a death harsh tone, lowering his hood to reveal his skeletal like face, sunken eyes that where worn and broken, yellowing, his face cracked and broken, emanating with the essence of pain and agony. His teeth broken. He his faced was a painful canvas of torture and anguish as he spoke his cracked and blistered lips oozed with a rather painful liquid.

"You're not blind then, good... fear? Fear feeds my power, and those who stand and snigger are fail to feed me anything.. I prefer not to waste my time with their volley, and seek out more power and knowledge than by proving my power over them and not those stronger..."

He grinned wide, his mind focused on intently on Zergo, he stepped into the hall. The brunt of his pain and anguish was present even more now, but his inner conflict his emotions where shielded under the pain he used to mask his own weakness. This was his weapon, and he used it to feed himself. Through pain he could hide his own weakness his volleys, emotions. Through pain he was stronger, it was his ally.

"You're need to tell me of your feat is worrying brother, why do you feel your need to explain yourself.. perhaps you fear me? Your steed to tell me you killed your... Jedi Master was rather quick, I have to say.. why did you tell me this? Perhaps you intended to try to antagonise me, well you failed in that regard.."

Yuon sat down on one of the seats in the training hall, his black cloak clinging to his ankles like a lost child to it's mothers bossom.

"So I ask.. what kind of Sith are you, a failed Jedi seeking to prove himself to those more powerful? Or perhaps you are just that.. a coward hiding behind feats of past, assuming to blag his way to the top of the food chain?"

"Your ignorance is fed by your fear. See past your fear, and break your chains," said Zergo, unaffected by the display of emotion before him. "Let me speak before you continue to assume. Do not let your fear govern your way. It is a tool for the weak; for the Jedi, and for the Republic. Those who survive do not fear. They act, and make the weak envision them with fear," continued Anzat, "You ask about my past as a Jedi. It was all I knew because it was all I had been given the opportunity to know. But, the strong adapt and evolve - as did I. I saw past the deceit and weakness of the Jedi and Republic. They prevented me from being natural, and as I continued to change they continued to stay behind. They were holding me back.

"You see," Zergo made a motion with his hand, "The galaxy is contaminated with weaklings, such as the Jedi and the Republic. It is natural for the strong to weed out the weak, so they can no longer contaminate the very life essence of the force, and that of the galaxy. The Jedi live in fear of the darkside. You live in fear of something in your past. What do I fear? Nothing. I see that the true purpose of the Sith isn't to spread fear. True Sith want what I envision - an evolved and pure galaxy, rid of the weak and ignorant, like the Jedi and the Republic. Once the people are under our rule, they will see.

"If you listen to one thing from me, listen to this message. And, do not ignore your fear, but do not let it alter your reality. Use it when proper, when to get rid of the weak."

Yuon leaned back, he was listening and he knew the more he prodded this individual, the more he would gain from him, but he had failed to answer his question, instead relayed another life story to Yuon, one he couldn't care less about. He did agree he wanted to see a pure galaxy, where the strong prosper, but he also didn't care for those who foolishly shouted out their believes in such disregard of the challenge, it seemed this individual only wished to bully and remove those weaker, and not aim or claim any power and for this he would only render himself weaker.

Yuon folded his arms and nodded, speaking quickly, clicking his jaw somewhat, the mild taste of the acidic liquid flowing from his mouth ever present.

"Good you believe what every other Sith believes, well done you passed Academy Entry 101.. now tell me, you preach like a Jedi, but you wear sith garbs.. and I asked not for your words of ignorance yourself, fear is what breathes more power, I fear only myself and that fear is relayed by failure, and that is what drives me.. so be careful how you state your tone.. and do not pretend to understand me, fellow Acolyte.. you are no Sith Lord yet... and even if you was.. you would never understand me fully just by watching me through the force.."

Yuon displayed no emotional state, his face and tone passive, only tinged by the echo of pain that emanated from his very essence.

".. now enough talk on the weak, unless that is all you wish to be used for a puppet to remove the weak a bully perhaps, someone used to keep the cattle in check.. or do you prefer power, the choice is yours alone, I prefer to refuse failure, I would sooner die.. then wither and fail like others have before me, and instead I aim for a higher power.. I sense alot of potential in you.. and if it was not for that, trust me.. I would not be here, so I offer you this once.. train with me, together. Grow strong with each other.. and then, when the time comes, you can feel happy in knowing your doing your duty to the galaxy by removing the weak.. or fight me afterall and let the true victor be the one.. who lives, as the strongest. What say you, ex-jedi?"

"A puppet? I am a puppet to no one but my own desires. If I did not desire power, I would not be here, and I would not be ridding the galaxy of those who get in my way - the weak," said Zergo. "You act like you are doing me a favor by training with me. But, the way I see it, you are the one who sought me out, like a leech feeding upon the strong.

"Regardless, a partner cannot hurt - it can truly only enhance the experience of training, and sooner will come the day when the Sith are in a position of power, and the weak - both the Jedi and the Republic - cease to exist. Power is only for those fit enough to take it. Let us begin," said the young Anzat as he walked out of the room. He assumed his new friend, if he could even trust the thing, was following him. After a walking through a few dark, cool corridors, they came to a training courtyard outside in the Korriban desert. Protruding from the sand were nine tan stone pillars, three rows of three, standing in the middle of the courtyard. Small boulders and rocks littered the ground, and the sun stood tall at its height, beating down upon the courtyard. It felt like an oven, but created wonderful conditions to tax the body and train.

"Here we will train. Not to kill each other, but to serve the greater mission of the Sith - power and riddance of the weak below us."

Yuon gazed around the courtyard, and nodded. He had trainied her before, a brilliant choice, the Anzat had made a definitive selection. Yuon pressed his had against one of the hot stone pillars, the dust of Korribans Atmosphere burning into his skin, but he didn't care he enjoyed the pain somewhat. He turned to the Anzat, a quick sharp question.

"What do you have in mind then?"

"Telekinesis is one of the most central force powers," claimed Zergo, "so how about a telekinetic duel? The only way we can attack each other is through means linked to telekinesis." Zergo looked into the eyes of his fellow acolyte. This would be a great learning experience, and fun as well. He had learned telekinetic techniques with the Jedi, but his knew force awareness would bring him to new heights, and the environment here would truly test him.

Yuon walked around the environment some more, nodding. This Acolyte would show him much, and Yuon would use his teachings to his advantage. He walked over to a rock on the ground picking the small hand sized rock up and staring at it, letting go, the rock floating mid air slightly, bobbing up and down as if attached by some sort of thread.

"I accept.. "

He turned his dark glare to his opponent, and with that second, using the force through the small rock projectile towards the face of his opponent. It wasn't by any means an attempt to take him out, but a means to see, just how good his opponents reflexes where.

As predictable as the move was, things still move fast when empowered by the force, and Zergo had to react fast. He grabbed hold of the force below him, and propelled himself upward, twisting backwards in a violent flip. As his feet lifted off the ground, so did the dirt and sand below him, brought up with telekinesis, then hurled toward Yuon at a blinding rate.

Yuon breathed deeply, letting the force flow through him. He used this to slow down the environment around him through his perception, not alot but enough for him for propel using the force to the right, letting his skeletal like figure soar through the remnants of dust and debris, allowing it to mask his presence, his cloak fluttering behind him, his hood up to keep any of the dust and sand from irritating his eyes, after all he didn't want to fight a foe he couldn't see, least.. not until he grew more in power. As he landed away from the main blast he rose, his opponent was showing off, obviously. Yuon grinned, why did all Acolytes feel a need to show off there power, surely it would be more beneficial if one was to keep his opponent believing you was weak.. and then strike out.. or perhaps.. this is what he was doing, maybe he was more powerful than this, and Yuon was simply being toyed with.

Nevertheless he would continue to poke and prod, not use the full extend of his abilities just yet.. he wanted to see how calm his opponent could maintain himself, how much power he could use.. he scaled atop one of the pillars with quick a nimble ease, using the force to propel him, when the cloud of sand cleared he used the force to break apart some loose dirt from under Zegro, clapping it together like a trap in an attempt to disorientate his opponent.

The ground began to shake below him, and at the first sense of the vibration Zergo knew something was up. He quickly propelled himself to a pillar, removing himself from the ground below. Zergo watched Yuon's trick come to it's conclusion - if Zergo wasn't aware, his ankles would have been cemented in. While it wasn't a move of a Sith Lord, it was certainly tricky. Zergo would have to keep it in mind for later applications. Standing on the pillar opposite from Yuon, Zergo looked into the acolyte's eyes with a cold, yet blank stare. He then rushed his right arm foward as if to execute a powerful force push, but instead, Zergo had a little trick. Instead of a wall of force power pushing Yuon from the front end, Zergo instead commanded the force behind Yuon to try to knock him off the pillar with a push to his back.

The force pull caught him completely unexpected, as the push of his forearm stretched, Yuon had misinterpreted his opponents plot, assuming he would barrage a wall of force towards him, he prepared his stature for it, bracing himself to intercept, but instead, was hit from behind, knocking him completely off balance and sending him sailing down, his let his cloak float off him, revealing his scarred and bare torso, twisting his body this way and that, and eventually hitting the ground with a thud, dust and debris shrouding him. He had to act fast, the sweat dripping from his nose, while he was hiding in the dust, he would use this small distraction to his advantage, he shot up the side of the pillar that his opponent was standing on, propelling himself with the force at a blinding rate, before leaping from his position so he was soaring above his opponent.

He knew if he was too slow, if his opponent had expected this he would be and easy target to another force attack, but if he succeeded it would deal a decent blow in his favour, his training in speed and agility would come into play well here, and using the very essence of his surrounding to shield him from sight he opened out, releasing a ball of force energy directly down at his opponent...

Zergo did not even let his emotion show, although he was very satisfied, when Yuon's body crashed to the desert floor. And then, in a blink of an eye, his opponent's body was rushing into the air from the cloud of dust below. Then, suddenly, a burst of energy was moving towards where he was standing on the pillar, and because the distance was very small, he would have a hard time avoiding the full attack. Strategically, he used the force to amplify his speed and jumped diagonally. When the pulse of energy hit the top of the pillar where he was, he was at the correct angle that it launched him to the farthest pillar in the courtyard. However, not all went as planned, as the blast increased his speed to a point where he could barely control himself, and he crash landed on the top of the pillar, banging his knee, though it only disoriented him for a split second. His eyes then locked on his opponent, who was still falling through the air, and in a very vulnerable position. Hoping to use his opponent's positioning to his advantage, he sent a force push downward upon Yuon, hoping to slam him into the ground below.
