DESCRIPTION​

Ayasha acquired this ship while she was on mission on Nar Shaddaa during the Imperial Hutta uprising. Along with Jedi Master Vu’thari, padawan Prax Dek and Mandalorian Dan Solus, she helped free slaves from a labor camp as well as document the horrors within. Just as the troupe were finishing their work, Ayasha was cut off from the others as they ran from the central cell block and she was forced to find an alternative exit. After wandering through several empty halls, Ayasha found herself outside at the center of the complex.

There in the middle of the labor camp was a landing pad with an unguarded ship sitting upon it. Ayasha watched as the camp’s warden ran from the craft with his bodyguards. They were all in quite a hurry to contain the chaotic situation unfolding within the compound. The woman took it upon herself to take advantage of the situation. Taking off in the Nightsweeper got her out of the labor camp and she obtained a ship, which was something she desperately needed.

In the days that followed, Ayasha was able to obtain some forged permits from her less than honorable contacts on Nar Shaddaa. They look like the real deal so she has no concerns about being in possession of this craft. This was also a limited edition version of the original Nightsweeper and has had several cosmetic updates.

The Nightsweeper was Rendili's attempt to break into the market for VIP Imperial transport. Nightsweeper was geared toward transporting officials with a combination of protection and luxury. Although it tends more towards running than fighting, the Nightsweeper does boast a decent arsenal and is capable of holding its own in a brief dogfight with a pair of double cannons and a small torpedo rack.

The internals of the ship are specifically designed with longevity and comfort in mind. The Nightsweeper's VIP suite is large and comfortable enough for 1-2 people to live in for an extended period of time without complaint, and boasts a number of creature comforts one would expect of a living space. The crew quarters are more modest, but are capable of housing up to 8 individuals in lesser comfort.

Because it was designed with military personnel in mind, it contains many tools to assist officers with their duties including a sensor system, long-range communication system, and of course a pair of escape pods should all else fail. Although the Nightsweeper can be piloted by only one individual, the crew is most efficient with the addition of either a human or droid copilot/gunner.

The true strength of the vehicle though, is its defenses. The Nightsweeper has military strength shielding and a class 1 hyperdrive that allow it to escape trouble quickly. The problem with this that Rendili soon realized was that it drove up the price of the vehicle beyond what most people were willing to pay, so the impressive Star Yacht fell out of favor with many.

LEGALITY​

This was designed primarily for sale to military personnel and Imperials. Special permits may be required if purchasing the Nightsweeper.

INTENT​

For Ayasha to have a personal ship to get her around the galaxy quickly and comfortably. The ship was acquired as a faction reward with the Galactic Alliance. This iteration of the Nightsweeper-class Star Yacht will act as her residence when she is not home on Nar Shaddaa. This will also accommodate her few padawans who will be traveling with her as they embark on missions.

ADVANCED TECH​

Yes. These vehicles are relatively expensive and difficult to obtain. With the proper funds one could buy one or one could steal one. It will typically require a 2-3 thread plot to obtain one, whatever the means used.
