When the man fell, the sudden jolt caused a natural break in his concentration of suppressing his presence. Suddenly, to everyone in the room, the presence of the man's powerful connection to the force from his many years of training among the sith would be overtly apparent to those in that era immediate viscinity. As the man's darkness was revealed, and his story of being a humanitarian exposed as a likely lie, Devil all but shouted at Shalken.

"You fool! Do you not clearly sense the darkness in him now? He has deceived you and you are falling wholeheartedly for it. Step aside and arrest this man!"

Devil's paranoia had turned out to be grounded in reality, all that was left now was for the rest of the order to come to their senses. If they let this liar go, then they'd prove themselves clearly not worthy of being Jedi.

The Jedi were in the midst of a war, a bloody fight for their survival, it was time the rest of them woke up to their plight.

Shae laughed at Logan's words, “Oh? And what was the first thing that came to mind?” She decided she found Logan entertaining. It was refreshing to be around someone that wasn’t always concerned about the war and everything wrong with the galaxy. Her interactions with most Jedi had been less than pleasant ever since Tython.

She was getting progressively drunker, getting to that point where she was in a very positive mood. Shae was about to be spun when someone bumped into Logan. She curiously peered over to see the culprit, spotting a young girl. Shae smiled warmly at her, but she paused for a moment. There was something familiar about her presence, something tugging at the back of her mind, but she couldn’t place it.

“Ugh, Mrs. Vis makes me sound so old,” Shae had to chuckle, deciding that she was a bit too buzzed to know why the girl seemed familiar. She turned as there was bickering going on not too far away, eyes narrowing as she realized it was going nowhere good. Shae smiled and turned to the girl, “He’s all yours, miss!” She nodded at Logan in thanks for the dance, making her way to the commotion, a bottle of beer still in hand.

As Shae came upon the two, she saw the suited man get flung back violently, skidding back near her. She saw Shalken rush up in front of him, facing down a Jedi Shae wasn’t too familiar with it. With a grimace, Shae quickly made her way over to the man that had been blasted back, quickly offering him a hand to help him up. She heard Shalken’s words, and the words the other Jedi spat back.

Shae focused on the suited man, meeting his eyes and offering him a sad smile, “Please forgive this. I think we are very on edge since the Moff bombing. This is no way to treat a guest…” Of course, she had no idea she had warmly helped the very man that one day intended to hunt her. It was irony at its finest.

With that, she moved forward to stand next to Shalken, eyeing the girl that had attacked. There was no malice in Shae’s tone as she spoke, “Between Corvo and I, I think it’s safe to say we’ve dealt more blows to Sith than most of the Jedi here combined. Sense us through the Force. You will find darkness. More darkness than what can ever exist in this poor man. If we judge solely by how we perceive someone in the Force and never their actions, we will be forever limited in who we have as allies,” She glanced at Shalken, “Shalken has been a fiercely loyal Jedi for as long as I can remember. He was also the trusted bodyguard of the Chancellor himself. I trust his judgment. Shalken, can you speak with full confidence to the honesty and integrity of this man?”

Al-Ric didn't care much for parties, and was even worse at dancing.
So when the scuffle by the door started, he had naturally gravitated towards it.

Had he been a more rash man, he might have interjected and manhandled the fallen man.

Instead he felt for his lightsaber on his belt and slipped his hand within his sleeve.

As he watched, a Jedi, who had clearly been the centre of attention before the altercation, stepped in between the two combatants.

She spoke of sensing darkness, and to Al-Ric's mind there was definite anger and maybe hatred, but his relative inexperience did not let him locate it distinctly between the three protagonists.

Yet, Al-Ric didn't understand why she seemed to be boasting of darkness within her. He understood redemption, but that would mean turning from the darkness, no?

Having completed the official funeral rites, Gladys had taken a seat among some of the other Jedi to compose herself. on the edge of the group, not bothering to join the others with their drinking and dancing. It wasn't that she was necessarily offended or upset by the displays of merriment, it was more that she simply lacked the energy to try and involve herself right now. Grief hung heavily over her, a mood that was obviously not felt as keenly among the younger generation - but most of the younger Jedi were offworld at the time. For Gladys, however, the number of personal losses she had experienced - peers, colleagues, students, friends and otherwise - was devastating. A lifetime of relationships, all destroyed in an instant. The Jedi Master had been used to losing colleagues, but not like this. And while she couldn't be so cavalier about such a loss of life, she lacked any motivation to lecture the other Jedi either. It wasn't her place, and if they didn't wish to dwell on the disaster, then...well, she could hardly blame them all.

In fact the Jedi Master had fully intended on leaving before she was approached by the Jedi Gravis. Unlike most Jedi who Gladys memorised as a matter of principle, Senari Gravis stuck out in her memory as one of the Jedi who had, like her, refused to join the Jedi Army until only recently - one of only a few individuals who still lived now. "Senari!" she exclaimed with a tone bordering on familiarity. "Oh, thank heavens you survived - I had no idea."

Glancing over to the increasingly rowdy group nearby - who, it seemed, had resorted to drawing weapons and throwing each other around with the Force - she sighed. "I suspect that not knowing some of these Jedi is in fact a blessing in disguise, dear."

And with that, she promptly unpocketed a flask of especially potent-smelling whisky and took a swig.

[fancybox2]As the pace of the music increased the pace of the gathering also sped up, taking the mood with it. Peering around the group, Teelo noticed more smiles, chatter and laughs from her fellow Jedi. The future wasn't quite so bleak as one might think. Not wanting to miss her opportunity, she decided now was a good time to try and establish a presence.

First she assessed her surroundings. The ceremony seemed to be parted in three directions: the quieter, solemn third of the present company nearest to her; the noisy, vibrant third enjoying the opportunity to relax ad let their hair down; the altercation between the cluster on Teelo's right. For now the sixteen-year-old retreated to the bar and ordered a soft, fruity drink - she probably couldn't fool the bartender and anyway, she wasn't the most prolific drinker after spending most of her life in adult supervision. Once a break in conversation had presented itself, she was in prime position to move into a more dynamic role in the ceremony.

Despite the revelation of the truth about Marcus' Force abilities and the Devil's fierce accusation, Shalken continued to stand his ground. He was both surprised and greatly relieved to see none other than Shae come to his aid. He remained silent for a few moments after she spoke, thinking back on the several occasions where he interacted with Marcus. After the short pause he shook his head. "I have never known Marcus to be other than exactly who he says he is. He has always striven to assist those in need, especially after the upheaval from the loss of Coruscant."

Shalken looked Marcus up and down again, but now in a different light. Though the Master trusted this man, he still intended to ask him a few questions sometime in the future. "As the Chancellor's bodyguard, it was my duty to study people with the Force. While it is true that all Sith have darkness within them, not all tainted are of the Sith - as it is with Shae, Corvo, Taox, and many others. As for Marcus, he has shown himself to be both an altruistic man and a steadfast friend, and I would trust him with my life."

Kenny sighed, the situation surely had escalated dearly since more and more Jedi arrived. This was becoming more of a twi'lek drama show by the minute. Something he was sure that neither he nor any of the Jedi wanted to bear with, since dramatic boastful actions used as power plays were usually the Sith's deal. The Jedi were meant to respect each other, through peace and order, and things were surely draining down into a sour situation. With his previous words, he was backing up his fellow General. Now there was pitiful back and forth about if the unwanted guest would be able to stay or go. Time to shut that shit down.

Our young Knight is surely in the wrong here, this is meant to be a way for the Jedi to recover ourselves as a solid entity, and here we are being hot-blooded teenagers.

Ken walked over to clasp a hand on Devil's robotic shoulder, meaning to calm her emotional outburst. Honestly, this was just too much to bear, Ken wanted to use this time to chill out. It was exhausting to be a politician and General all in one, now he had to play the Master role in calming down the calamity of a young one's unchecked emotions.

It's time for the man to leave, he's been asked to leave by General Valen. Before this becomes a bigger deal than it was ever meant to be, let him go. That is also part of being a Jedi, thinking of your actions before indulging the impulse.

That was surely the difference between the Jedi and Sith, if this was the force of darkness, this funeral gathering would already be a bloodbath. If having the unknown man claimed to be of the Sith forces at the party meant people were going to try and kill each other, then he needed to leave. Ken looked at the man Shalken had brought along(@Vosrik).

Time for you to leave, before anything escalates further. You can have a chance at redemption at a later date. Not today.

Senari continued carefully watching Karyn, when she managed to bump into a larger and older Jedi than Senari himself. Given how said man seemed to be acting - and reacting - to her, he decided he didn't have much to worry about, after Shae left to try and take care of the commotion; with any luck, Karyn would steer clear of what was going on and keep Senari from having to involve himself. It didn't sit right with him, leaving the politician to get bullied like he was, but there were more than enough people who could and would step up to protect him to leave Senari to his own task.

After Gladys spoke, he started to respond, "Yes, I do think you're ri--" then a whiff of what she had in her flask caught his nose, and his eyes widened slightly in surprise. "Is that Menkooro?" he asked after a moment, trying to match the smell to his memory. "Or is it Cheedoan? I prefer Corellian, myself, especially this Whyren's Reserve that I was given during my last assignment on Chandrila."

The ‘funeral’ had become a whirlwind of activity. Valen had been enjoying the beat when Corvo (@Phoenix) attempted to get a side word. He kept bobbing with the music as he shifted his eyes to the young girl (@Prudence ). He reached out in the Force sensing the girl’s aura. Apparently, Corvo took this as disinterest and moved on. He was an inpatient one. The General had drawn Valen’s attention to the unknown Initiate. He had made a conscious effort to learn the names, and faces, of all the Jedi he could. It was a considerable number. He had learned as many as he could but it was not unusual he didn’t know the girl. The aura was different. He knew it but he couldn’t place where he knew it from. Valen looked at the young girl again, and it clicked.

He had felt the aura before. Only once, and for a terribly short time before it had been ripped from the Force. Darth Solum. A shiver ran up his spine. Solum was dead, killed by her own apprentice. It was not Solum. It could not be. The aura was off. Strange. He stopped dancing to move closer to Corvo. He found the man standing near Kenny (@Toasty), Shalken (@Shalken), and a few other Jedi. The group was continuing to exchange words regarding the interloper. He sighed, and frowned. He had hoped the gathering could pass without drama. That had been too much to hope for. Kenny had a few drinks, yet the iron in his voice quickly returned. Valen didn’t agree with everything his fellow General did but damn he did respect him. Kessel had changed many things.

Thankfully, the suited man was leaving and Shalken seemed mostly resigned to this fact. Then everything changed. In a flurry, Marcus was on the ground. A vibrosword wielding Jedi stood over him (@Black Noise), Shalken was yelling, Shae was intervening, and Kenny sounded incredibly annoyed. He ran a hand through his hair. The levity evaporated. The weight of responsibility settled back on his shoulders. He walked over and stood near Shae.

“General Garfield is correct. It is best if we all put this behind us.” He tried to only address those involved. This was not about him. “Master Tanari (@Shalken), please walk your guest out.” That would give the young Jedi Master time to compose himself. “If your desire is sincere we will help you on your path. Please give us time to grieve. (@Vosrik)” Finally, he turned to Shae (@Sreeya) and lowered his voice. “The young girl over there (@Prudence), she feels familiar. In a way that is deeply troubling.” He raised his voice again. “Now, let’s try and have some fun. The galaxy won’t end right this second.”

Valen reached out in the Force and flicked the radio again. More sweet jams poured from the radio.

Marcus was beyond thankful that his friend rushed to his aid. A twang of real uncertainty reverberated through the man as his accuser shouted about the "darkness inside" him. She must have had to peer deeply into Marcus indeed, for it had been decades upon decades since Lucius had trained for a time under the Sith, and he hadn't tapped into the Dark Side for a very long time. It was then a hand reached down to help, which Marcus took gratefully while hastily shrouding his sensitivity once more.

Then their eyes met, and while Marcus remained completely composed, the Lucius inside cackled with the utter irony that he'd just been helped up by Shae Vis herself. He gave her a respectful bow and replied, "Of--of course, master Jedi. Truly, I meant no harm. It's true that in my youth I was...foolish enough to align with the Brotherhood. That's why I went into politics, to--to try helping as many as I could and absolving myself of my errors. My reasons for hiding my sensitivity were only to not cause alarm."

Another important-looking Jedi approached the group even as Shalken defended Marcus' integrity once again. After addressing Marcus, the suited man gave another respectful bow. "At once, master Jedi. Thank you for your mercy and understanding."

If he would not be accosted again, Marcus quickly left while giving the Corellian girl a very wide berth.

Shae was almost half slurring her words as she finished speaking, thankful that others had stepped in to take over from here. She nodded to Shalken, expressing that she had complete trust in him. As other generals came by to reaffirm that the suited man needed to leave, she believed the situation was at last under control. Taking a huge swig from her bottle, she was about to leave when General Pelora stopped her, muttering something about the girl from before. Shae glanced back to the girl in question who was now near Logan @Prudence , “I sensed something too. But I’ll be honest with you, General, I think it’s far more appropriate for me to deal with this when I’m not 5 shots of shitty blue mystery drink in. I’m sure you can understand,” She patted him on the shoulder and half walked, half stumbled away. @Valen Pelora

She decided to grab yet another shot on the way, spotting Corvo in the distance. She had to cut through the crowd to get to him and decided to get in the groove, dancing and almost falling a few times her way across. She was feeling rather elated despite all the strange mishaps at the party. Shae spotted Corvo talking to another man and couldn’t immediately tell who he was.

As she approached Corvo from behind, she decided to give his backside a very inappropriate squeeze. Heavy drinking often put her in a frisky mood, and her husband happened to have one fine piece of – wait was Corvo smiling? She suddenly realized how ecstatic he was. Corvo seemingly in a good mood was instant cause for suspicion. Shae quirked an eyebrow, looking at the man across from Corvo, “Hi…have we met?” @Phoenix @Wit

Valin laughed as Corvo embraced him and asked him to share the bottle, he was actually carrying another two of the bottles in his satchel and had planned to finish one of those, but he realized the whiskey would feel that much better if shared with friends. Heck, some of the cheap crap he had gotten drunk on in some of the shadiest cantinas in the Galaxy would have felt like nectar right now. He was about to respond when Shae suddenly showed up behind Corvo, and playfully grabbed his ass. Trying his best to suppress a laugh at the look on Corvo's face, he failed miserably and laughed himself to tears as Shae turned to grey him.

Wiping away tears once more, not all of them from laughing, he turned to Corvo and gestured towards Shae. That's the second time your wife's caught me at my embarrassing best. First she heard me scream like a girl, and she makes a grown man cry. Shaking his head as he chuckled, he pulled out another bottle from his satchel and held it out to Shae. I think you had asked for baby formula the last time you had me off on a supply run. Unfortunately this is all I was able to bring back. Might not be suitable for Ciri, but then you never specified if the baby formula you wanted was for her or you.

Sheathing her blade, Devil did not stand around to hear much after Shae began her speech. She saw what had become of the conversation, and despite her own great displeasure at Marcus being allowed to walk free, there was no possible way she would be able to interrogate him now. Moving on, she drifted back towards the edge of the room, far away from prying eyes.

A million rage filled thoughts flooded her brain. Devil did not believe in redemption, not for the man who visited them, not for Shea, not for her 'husband.' They deserved to serve punishment for their crimes against the galaxy, not allowed to walk around free. They did not deserve the happiness they held, the happiness that she so clearly lacked.

Placing her earbuds into her ears once more, Devil truly shut out the world and buried her head in her hands. Perhaps they were right, perhaps she had accosted an innocent man over nothing more than her own rampant paranoia. She had her reasons, of course, but none of them were good enough. How could they. Maybe the Jedi would regret this one day, but at the moment the only one holding any regrets was Devil.

The abrupt squeezing of his rear sent Corvo's head spinning and he saw - thankfully - none other than his wife standing there (it wouldn't have been the first time that... others had laid their hands on him). The surprised, wide-eye look on his face subsided quickly as he reached out to slide his arm around her waist. After having watched her dancing with that other man, he was more than happy to have her back at his side. The fact that she was drunk and frisky was just a bonus.

He glanced over, watching Shae's face and waiting for the realization to settle over her that this was Valin. Well, you don't think he walked around amongst the Sith with his old face, do you? He certainly wasn't going to be able to be Moff Valin Thorne, he said with a smile, raising one of his hands in the air and imitating reading the name off of a banner.

He turned back to Valin as he told the story of his last "supply run." Um, yeah, I don't think Ciri is going to be getting any of that, but then, I don't think I want any baby formula from Sith space either. You never really know what they're putting in there..... That being said, I'm sure her parents will appreciate it! @Wit @Sreeya

Returning to the gaggle of people already already having a merry time, Kenny Garfield, the ever boisterous, inserted himself directly into the conversation. Well, not actually, he stood there and smiled a billion credit grin until the squish of a bendy straw underneath his foot brought a frown. Looking down, then back up in absolute horror at Corvo, Ken spotted that Corvo's face was bare and shining. It was astonishing how a man could have and not have a mask on his face at one time, or it may have just been a quick assumption considering how fast and lame the gathering got when blades got whipped out, and the friendly man had to go into grump mode. Back to pleasantries, though, as Ken grinned at the talk of children and jokes he didn't understand.

"Corvo... Where's your other face?"

Ken laughed at his own painfully awkward insertion into the conversation.

"Shae Vis, we haven't formally met, but it's nice to finally change that. I'm Kenny Garfield, hope Corvo told you all about me."

Ken offered a firm handshake to the woman, since the man was mostly business for a majority of his days, it seemed the Jedi General side went away for the Lobbyist to say hello. Honestly, this was probably the part of Ken that made he and Corvo friends. The firm straight up honesty of a man who says 'Here it is, I'm rich as hell and don't give a damn what anybody thinks.' at all times.

With all the excitement, emotions and well even bodies flying through the air it drained the old Jedi Master. He hated to see specially his own people fighting and bickering towards one another. He felt it wasnt necessary on anyones part.

When the scene was over and all was said and done kip noticed a young girl (@Prudence) who seemed on edge but none the less seemed to be having fun. One of the perks of being as old as Kip was, well was being able to see who and who wasnt in their order. Faces and names he would gather but not hers.

Kip wouldn't care how or why she was there. Her intentions as far as he could see and sense, well the activity was simply juvenile and harmless which put a smile on the Neti's face.

Slowly but surely the the Master walked his way to the young girl and her friend with staff in hand with a big grin he spoke softly.

"Well hello little lady. Fancy seeing you at a 'shindig' like this.....is that what kids still use these days?"

Kip could tell she didnt belong there just yet but he didnt mind. With all this....violent outbursts, the old man needed a break from it all.

"I see you like to dance?"

Kip added

"Would you like to see how we used to do it in my younger days?"

Kip knew he would make a fool of himself and an embarrassment at that but he was past the Jedi Master role right now seeing the children, he was now into his grandfather mind set trying entertain and just well....have fun.

(And the embarrassment began)

The tension eased from the gathering as their uninvited guest took his leave. Valen could sense the quarrelsome Jedi Knight’s displeasure. He would keep an eye on that one. Faith in the Light was necessary, but zeal was a dangerous path. He had seen horrible acts committed in the name of the greater good. The Jedi would not find themselves on that road again. He turned his attention to the more troubling development. Everyone was drunk.

Shae swerved her way back towards her husband. Corvo was shockingly drinking strait from a whiskey bottle. Kenny was not far behind. In that moment, he realized he was the only General not drinking. That likely said more about him then his fellow leaders. Valen had always been boring. A terrifically unexciting guest. When he was young, his idea of a wild time had been staying up past curfew in the Archives. He was trying to let loose but finding it incredibly difficult. Maybe he should try some of the blue mystery drink? He headed towards the bar but couldn’t shake the nagging in the back of his mind. That odd Force signature. He sighed, resigned to his uninteresting life. Forfeiting his chance at blue drunkenness he made his way towards the scrawny child. Luckily, he had an excuse.

“Lanna, it is good to see you safe. (@Zenya)” He had not seen the young Jedi since Endor. A dead man’s face flashed through his mind. He briefly thought of Soshat recovering in the infirmary. He smiled at the girl, and her friend. (@Prudence) “I don’t believe I have met your friend, and I must admit I am not as good a dancer as Master Koom. (@Talon maara)”

He smiled at the elderly Jedi Master, Lanna, and the strange girl. He kept his mental walls high, but he could still sense that strikingly familiar aura. She wasn’t Darth Solum, but she was very close.

Telon was not a man accustomed to being tardy. Punctuality was both important and polite, whilst fashionably late was just another word for rude. But complication’s with the Interjection’s landing gear had delayed his arrival. None the less, after proving his identity, the gaunt faced, hard nosed, sunken eyed kage proceeded into the gathering. His crisp yellow eyes scanning the attendants, back straight, chin slightly up, hands behind his back. He looked like an officer surveying his position, not a Jedi at a social gathering. It was his robes, in shades of deep purple that edged on black, that obviously marked him out as a force user, that and the aura of the light side about him which he was making no effort to conceal. And just as well. When a gaunt, rakish, dark robed, grey skinned, yellow eyed force user came at you people had a habit of jumping to the wrong conclusions. Particularly if they had never seen a kage before. The touch of light helped to reassure.

By the time he had arrived the revelry had seemingly begun. A solemn occasion of remembrance was turning into a drunken party. These men and women were all strangers to him, but some he knew by reputation. And to see generals drunk, tearing liquor straight from the bottle, tottering around like ill-disciplined teens, irked him a little. This was wrong. Today was supposed to be good for morale, but not like this. A day of remembrance and mourning, of telling stories and sober recollection. Then tomorrow you could wake up with a clear head, all of this behind you, and get on with the job. For a few moments the tall, grey haired man who was still just in his twenties, seemed to disregard the other attendees, proceeding towards the pyre and regarding it in heavy silence, a stern, serious look upon his face. He did his best to blot out the raucous noise and dancing music for a few moments as he instead reflected on what he had seen in the combat thus far, the butchery and struggle at the front, and how he had avoided being on Tython more by luck than judgement.

With all of this in mind he finally seemed to straighten up even more if that was possible, and give a small, private bow to the flames, so subtle as to be little more than a nod. But with this done his keen eyes drifted over the room. Many people here he hoped to talk to, and soon, if only to introduce himself and have his face be known. But he wanted to start with something different, with something that didn’t seem to belong. Something that seemed as out of place here as his own reserved attitude did. It didn’t take long for his eyes to fall upon the jedi in the corner with her head in her hands and shut off from the rest of the gathering.( @Black Noise ) With a sharp, measured pace often associated with polished boots and a certain kind of man Telon made his way over to her. He hoped she would spot him on her own, but with earphones in and face hidden he could not rely upon this, and so he gave a firm cough to draw her attention. Should he gaze shift to him he would seem to put on a slight smile and extend a gloved hand. “Good evening. My name is Telon Aldrecht, a pleasure I am sure. You seem even more….. baffled, by all of this than I am. What part of all of this, display, is particularly troubling you?”

Lanna's eyes flashed with a spark of excitement when the girl took her hand to dance. She was half expecting her to decline. Her partner grabbed her hands, and off they went. Spinning around, and skipping along the dance floor. Lanna was fairly confident in her dance moves, as she had lots of practice throughout her days as a Jedi apprentice. And even more time to fool around. As the music changed, and the rhythm grew into something more up beat and electronic, Lanna's dancing changed from sways and twirls, to almost bobbing up and down. She laughed, looking around the scene of her fellow Jedi, as they tended to their own business. Most were dancing, drinking, conversing.

What a life.

They paused when Karyn bumped into another Jedi Knight. (@Relent ) The man was dancing with Shae Vis, (@Sreeya ) who Lanna had met once before at another social gathering. The Life day party, to be exact. The girl looked up at the two knights, and gave a polite smile. "It's nice to see you!" she said, before being carried off once more by the flow of the dance floor.

They kept to themselves a few more minutes, before a Jedi Knight came to introduce himself. (@Talon maara ) He seemed interested in Karyn, so Lanna stepped back, continuing to sway to the music.

Looking off to the side, she caught the eye of a familiar face. (@Valen Pelora )

"Master Valen Pelora! How nice to see you here!" She exclaimed. She was definitely feeling light on her feet after that pink sparkling beverage. "Have you been enjoying yourself this evening? I'm just getting to know my new acquaintance, Miss Karyn."

Karyn was quite surprised by how gentle the older man was, even after she ran into his leg. He just regarded her warmly, and offered her a dance. Karyn hadn't been sure what to expect. During her time on Onderon she'd run into quite a few older men with anger issues who would have lashed out with a backhand at a little street rat like she'd been. Thoughts of what her life could've been if the Jedi had taken her in flashed through her mind. "Thank you master... I-I don't know your name.. my name is Karyn! Karyn Elan!" She shot out her hand to accept a dance, and then realized too late that she'd given her full name to him. She had been used to doing so for years now, and had forgotten, in the moment, about Dea's warning. Anxiety bloomed within her at the thought that one of these Jedi may recognize the last name. She wasn't embarrassed of her mother, but she didn't want to run into trouble with the Jedi either.

Karyn's anxieties were momentarily eclipsed as another older Jedi master approached and regarded her. She wasn't sure how to react to the sudden influx of attention, but the man seemed harmless enough, so she just giggled at his dancing and then turned back to Logan. She wasn't exactly sure how to dance, especially like he'd been doing with the white haired woman, but he seemed to be patient and gentle, and she suspected he'd show her the ropes.
