THEME

They had come this far and now stared at the compound. Inside they knew were stacks and stacks of munitions and high end illegal starship parts. The compound was fenced in by three meter tall chainlink fence and while the mandalorians hid in the trees to the east of the arms dealer warehouse they had taken plenty of precautions in the darkness of night to scope the place out. Koil was clad in his armor making him nigh impossible to see. That could change though if he walked directly under the farm lights that were lit in the open ground of the warehouse. It would not be an issue though so long as he kept out of sight.

He had both of his blaster pistols drawn though and was ready at the first sign of trouble. They had come the night before and scoped the place out. It was a hard place to find and while someone may be out in the boonies traveling down the distant side road at the end of the hundred meter drive way they would be quickly seen by both the mandalorians and the gun runners. Koil would wait and look to either side to make sure his fellow warriors were ready for the move ahead.

The Bident airspeeder was waiting in the bushes towards the road and out of sight as well. The could use it to get away quickly if necessary but Koil had affixed a small bit of plastic explosive to the engine. It would not explode in a blaze of glory, merely force the vehicle to fail and come to sa stop. All it took was an electrical signal from his commlink to call the setup. It was merely an anti-theft device he had concocted. Inspired by the events he had perpetrated with Daniel over Fondor when they had blown up an entire Imperial weapons depot.

Dax wasn't exactly sure what the plan was, but he was sure the field marshall would fill him in. All he knew was that he had been told to come in prepared, and so he had. His weapons were primed, his armor was patched and fixed, and he was ready for whatever was to come.

Walking up to come to a sop besides the field marshall, his rifle in hand, he glanced around to take in the farm and try to figure out defensive positions and possible escape routes and fall back points. You never knew when things could go to shit, it was always good to be prepared.

"So," he spoke up over the comms embedded in their helmets,, "what next?"

Koil somewhat heard Dax approach. He turned his helmeted head to the side to watch him come along side him. He was somewhat less armored but the Field Marshal also knew that it provided more mobility and less noise. Too bad it was not matte black or better yet, covered in scatterweave. He returned his gaze to the compound ahead.

"We get inside, set the warehouse on fire and leave." That was the basic outline of what they were doing. The fire would get called in by the two of them before they moved. That way the local authorities would already be en route and the criminals before them would not be able to escape completely. The two mandalorians would still have to make difficult enough that they also could not put out the fires AND still make it out without getting shot or blown up by the munitions igniting. Yeah, easy enough.

Koil began moving around the edge of the camp. The fences would need to be hopped with a quick burst of his jet pack. The location meant this place was pretty quiet though and he knew he would draw attention. Just on the other side of the fence was a parked hovered truck. Koil would use it as cover while he waited for a guard to come and check on the noise. Once he came around the corner he would grab ahold of him in a choke hold and cover his mouth, knocking him unconscious. These were arms dealers after all among other things. If they wanted to get into a fire fight it probably would not be an easy win. Much better for the mandalorians to stay hidden until necessary.

Flora was after robbing so armament, and munitions. She was after telling them on the black market, to help raise funds to buy a new ship. Her freighter was disguised as a legitimate transport vessel, so she could land in the local landing pad. Though her ruse would not work, once they saw her. Her ship came down, nice and smooth like. Though the guys were next to there stations if they came under attack. As they landed, she was met at the docking platform by two guards. The land ramp lowered down, and they came towards it to check her papers, BAM BAM, she shot them down. Then she and other two crew members made a dash for it, inside the warehouse.

Quick get loading, remember we can only carry forty tons. Now each of those cases is roughly that, so get the hover lifter, and get loading I will cover. The whole plan should take less than twenty minutes, as long as they were not attacked, the guards are dead, and she men manning her freighters guns. Though if others did come, she might just cut and run, she needed a bigger ship.

The Mandalorian did not move as he heard the approaching sound of a ship. He instead waited for it to land. Watching from the shadows he saw a woman exit and simply shoot the arms dealers that were approaching to question her. Well, this was quickly going to turn into a sort of opportunity type of situation. The ship and the woman were both roughly thirty meters away from him give or take. He knew his wrist rocket was going to need to at least travel twenty before arming.

From his cover he took a step back deeper into the shadows and drew his quickdraw blaster pistol in his right hand. As crew members exited the ship in an obvious attempt to steal the weaponry of arms dealers he would level his right arm and fire a rocket at the ship's cockpit. The ship was parked and would not have any shields up and the unprotected hull of the vessel would not be able to withstand the destructive force of a direct rocket. The intended damage would make the controls on the ship inoperable, escape or ship functions would be disabled.

Being deeper in cover than before the woman, nor her crew would be able to see him or his scatterweave armor in the darkness. Plus it helped that he was not even in direct line of sight with anything other than the ship's cockpit.

@Koil Solus fired a rocket at her freighter, this hit without issue. The thing went off with a loud bang, spraying the outer shell of the cockpit with shrapnel. This scratched and burnt the outer hull of the freighter, but also penetrate it. The cockpit transparisteel, shattered from the hit, and some the of shrapnel damaged, the computer system. The ship was unable to fly until she could rig bits of together, to get running again, before some proper repairs, to make spaceworthy again. She was unaware of damage, as the crew on board could not tell her, due to the damage. The crew member using the dorsal cannon, on the ship pulled up the loading ramp, to stop anyone boarding. Then moved towards the cockpit in case someone boarded.

She quickly put her back against the munitions, then shouted Hey who was that? The explosion had her spooked, her men were still loading the cargo. They looked at each other, as to say should we carry on. She pointed at them and said Get a move on!

She then moved to a dark corner of the room, so if someone should come in, at least she gets the first shot off at them. Though she was sure these were not the local security. She shouted again before anyone came into the warehouse,
Look whoever it is, I am here to rob the place, nothing more. So do you fancy cutting a deal, and sharing the profits? She was a little worried, she might have stumbled onto some else turf, or pissed off the wrong people.

Koil watched from the shadows as the ship took the damage he had intended. Smoke rose from the cockpit and after a few moments he saw the figure of one of the opportunistic crew members enter sight as he came into the cockpit.

The person in the cockpit was facing towards the inner part of the ship expecting somebody to board from that direction but not facing outwards towards the dark night. The others had gone inside the warehouse and were out of sight. That was fine. Koil moved around in the shadows of the compound around the outer edge keeping to the deepest of shadows so he would remain out of sight to any possible gazes that searched the area.

Once he was about eight meters away from the cockpit of the ship he drew his vibro blade from his belt and activated his jetpack's combat mode by leaping up. The completely blown out windows of the cockpit made it easy for his frame to drop down through onto the damaged deck of the ship. The transparisteel had been destroyed and scattered so none of it ran the risk of cutting him. Dropping down behind the crew member he moved swiftly and jammed his vibro-blade into the side of the man's neck without a second thought. It would keep him from calling out to his fellow crew members and also not disclose his own position. Whomever these people thought they were they did not realize they were tangling with the Silent Badger.

All the while he heard the shouting of the woman. She was explaining herself pointlessly. How did she know that he was not just part of the security here. Koil was here on a mission, he had taken a job to have the local law enforcement investigate the arms dealers. If the arms dealers were lacking their goods in the warehouse then that would not be possible for Koil to get justice for the people he took this job for. His armor had been black long before he had it coated in scatterweave. The War Councilor had long believed in justice, it was just appreciated coincidence that it was practical and also one of his house's colors.

Ferret Fleabag who was manning the dorsal gun, was heading to the cockpit. As @Koil Solus entered the cockpit, and slit his throat. His blood sprayed the room as he cut ear to ear, and his hands tired to grab his throat. As he did, his blaster hit the deck. This made a noise alerting Davro Kenbridge, who was in the ventral gun. He panicked, and got out of there, and ran to Flora Burns cabin, as it was the closest one to him, and locked the door. Her room was a mess, as she not tied up in a while, he slid under the dirty clothes under her bed, and had his blaster trained on the door.

She realized the person attacking her ship did not reply, they were security. Though a lot better armed than she anticipated, as she did not expect high end explosives to deal with. Her crew was possibly dead, on the ship. She needed to make choice, cut and run, and stand and fight. She did not have anything, to counter that sort firepower on the ground. She turned to Borris and Davro, and then said in no uncertain terms, We need to get out of here, they got better gear than us. Take that and head to the front door, and keep filling it on the way out of here. Also, cover it up as we get out the front door, I figure what to do next. They nodded and began moving, and loading it as they went. She grabbed some wooden pallets, as they moved away. She shot it at close range, in an attempt to start a fire. She needed the smoke and flames, as a distraction. As the security would be more interested in stopping the whole thing from burning down, than stopping her from stealing stuff. The wood began to burn, after a few shots at it. She then put burning wood, into a rubbish container. She kept a watch on the doors near her freighter, as she heads towards the front door of the warehouse.

At least he died relatively quick. Living in a cut throat world you tended to run the risk of actually getting your literal throat cut. Koil had taken down numerous enemies and was used to how they simply went limp when they died. The gun clattered to the ground for a moment though compared to the rocket explosion from earlier it probably just sounded like some ship equipment or cargo settling. Still, Silent Badger would soften the fall of the dead body and then quickly whip his vibro blade on the corpse's pant leg. He did not want the droplets of blood on it leaving a trail of his movements. As he did this he heard the boot steps of someone else deeper inside the ship. The noticeable shishk ~ shishk of automatic door opening and closing.

Moving deeper into the ship he kept and eye out for any corners or locked doors. A ship was really just another building, a mobile one, but clearing rooms was mostly the same. Finally he came upon the only closed door. He sheathed his vibroblade and took out his port scanner which would easily unlock the civilian grade encryption shortly while the people in the warhouse struggled to start a fire. As it did the slicing for him Koil left it connected to the wall port and pulled a concussion grenade from his belt, priming it for impact.

The sound of shots from inside the warehouse penetrated the hull of the vessel thanks to the open cockpit acting as an open window. Perhaps the arms dealer were still trying to put up a fight or the brigands were starting to fight among themselves. Koil had seen people turn on one another before. Not every foxhole ended up being a bonding experience.

The door opened and Koil, being on one side of it in a stacked position, tossed the grenade inside. He would let it explode and once it did he would move in with classic breach maneuver. Even outside the room it was still loud. The risk of getting shot when breaching was usually with the second or third person since people trailed the lead operator and Koil knew this. His dark armor all that much harder to see in the darkened room. But his eyes would adjust quickly since he had already been in the darkness most of the night and would pull the trigger once aimed at the chest of the likely baffled and blinded crew member inside. If he was not on the ground from the concussion grenade he at the very least blind and deaf.

On the ship, @Koil Solus moved to her room and threw a concussion grenade into it. The grenade landed into a pile of her laundry, as the grenade went off. The grenade blinded and put poor Davro into shock, and also buried him in her laundry. The Mandalorian then went to shoot him, he shot whilst under the bed. The bed collapsed onto him, his still warm corpse.

The fire was at the moment contained to the industrial bin, near the cargo loading areas, at the back of the warehouse. She hoped it would spread, but without her assistance.

Flora was now making her way out of the building, with the spoils of the robbery. She had issues though, her freighter had been attacked, and she did not know its condition. She looked at her other two crew members as they left, and gave them orders. Go and hide with gear, and steal a speeder, to get it to the junkyard. You know the contact, so sell it, and whatever else you can. I try and meet you with our ride, and if we sell that too, we might have enough. Her two crewmates then disappeared, to find a palace to stash the gear till later. She needs a distraction, so she rang the fire service. The warehouse at 239 central is on fire, please come quickly. She then moved towards the back next doors warehouse, she moved in the shadows. So anyone would not just notice her.

With the crew onboard dead Koil knew that the best possible way to make the most of the situation was to make it look like some pirates had turned against some arms dealers that had been selling to them or vis versa. Whatever the authorities thought would work. Koil moved out of the room he had breached and headed towards the ventral laser cannon. From that place he could see the remainder of the crew crossing in front of him in an attempt to make it to the hover trucks. He fired on them each, raking the area with fire and lighting up the remote environment with a plethora of damaging shots that would continue to provide further guidance to following shots in the darkness of night.

The light from the compound only dampened beyond the fence which the pirates had yet to get around and they had chosen to not only go out the back and come around the front in an unnecessary prolonged effort to escape but they did so under direct light of the luminescence of the compound as well making them each an easy target towards the dormant hover trucks. They each were carrying individual crates though he was not sure why someone in a direct confrontation would prioritize such containers over their own livelyhood.

All this while Dax had been waiting and watching, humming softly as he kept an eye on the fools who had entered the warehouse and ready to jump on them. Having waited long enough, he got bored and decided to just go seek out the fools instead of waiting for them. Having seen the pirates go in and not come out, and with Koil having infiltrated the ship and covering the front, he began jogging towards the rear of the warehouse.

It didn't take too much effort to find that exit, and he found a large trash bin to take cover behind while still getting a clear shot at the exit. He had swapped out his rifle for his bowcaster, and it was now aimed at the rear exit and ready for action. He was simply gonna pick them off if they tried to escape this way, while Kool would cover the front. The Mandalorians had come to accomplish a task of their own, and Dax did not appreciate anyone interfering with them. The fact that they were robbers only made it that much harder for him to have any sympathy for them.

"Keeping watch out back," he said to Koil over the comms, "keep an eye up front and let me know if they escape that way."

As she moved around the corner, she heard the guns from her freighter fire. Then a loud bang, something inside the weapons they stole went bang. Their bodies were ripped limb from limb, body part flew everywhere. Smoke rose from where the blast hit, the smoke was very dense and black. She knew then both of her fellow pirates must be dead, nothing would survive a blast that sounds like that. Then she realized to shoot the gun, the two guys she left on the ship were also dead. A tear rolled down her eye, all friends were now dead. Her ship had been taken by someone, this robbery had gone really south. She hid her self, as best she could, and started looking for an escape route. She figured whoever these people were better armed than her, could move really fast, they were probably sith. Those lightsaber jockeys have been hitting pirates hard of late, even when the raid was not in their territory.

She saw the fence, she decides to go for it. She moved to the fence as quickly and as quietly as she could, the fence was was chain type, so shooting it would have no effect. She pulled out her vibro knife and got ready to cut it and roll, though. She wanted to be completely ready, before turning the blade on, as the blade would give her position away. The building was between her and her now ex freighter, so it should not have a line of site on her. She was already around the corner from the front door, so unless anyone stopped her she might get away from this nightmare. Though tears were now streaming from her eyes, and snot was starting to well at the back of her nose. She loved those boys, and she did not how to replace them, nor did she know where she would get another ship from.

The mandalorian's eyes looked suspiciously about the lit up interior of the turret. He had heard Dax's request for him to keep watch out front but he knew after the amount of fire he had poured into the unlucky souls only an di'kut would come into his line of fire. "Hopping off the ship's turret." He said and left the weapon station.

Redrawing one of his blaster pistols he booked it to the loading ramp and opened the door and ramp facing the same part of the complex that the turret had. He drew his second blaster as it descended and moved out of the ship's hull but keeping to the shadow of the vessel. One of the landing legs staying between him and the light source at the center of the complex. He could only see the northern face of the warehouse for the moment but had his blasters trained on the north western corner. He did not want to leave the eastern view of the building yet either until Oblivious Badger communicated it to him.

Dax, already positioned at the other exit, had a clear sight of the woman where she emerged from inside the warehouse. Her companions had run off back towards where Dax had come from and Koil still waited, and so he did not track their movements as he was sure Koil would deal with them, in the same way he expected Dax to deal with this one. He ignored the distant shots that rang out, confident that it was just Koil taking out the fools who had run back into the the lion's maw and turned themselves into easy prey.

His attention was on the woman, and he carefully and quietly ran after her down the side of the warehouse and came to a stop at the corner, peaking around the corner to follow her movements. As she made a run for the fence, he took aim with his bowcaster, and as she came to a stop at the fence and pulled out a blade he took his shot. Aiming for the back, he fired off two well placed shots. Caught up in trying to cut the fence, and with tears running down her face, she probably had no chance at avoiding the shot as they ripped through her, ending her life just like her companions.

He would keep a sharp eye on her to make sure she was dead, ready to react and attack or defend if she did somehow survive his attack.

She was starting to cut the fence, in a desperate attempt to escape when the first shot came towards her. The first shot hit her jacket and passed straight through, blowing a hole in it and the fence. The blast hitting the fence blew her to one side, the second blast skimmed her waist. As she flew away from the fence. She hit the deck and was out cold, probably for five minutes.

As she landed in the distance possibly ten minutes away, were sound sirens of the fire engines. As she rung in a fire, in hopes of distraction. Her life was now in there hands, they could just walk up and kill her, or leave her for dead. Then again they could enslave her.

Dax watched at the woman went flying and landed on the ground, out cold. He wasn't sure who she was, or what she was doing there, but she had interfered with their business and there was no going back from that. They were Mandalorians, people needed to know what happened when they crossed paths with mandalorians.

He carefully walked up to the unconscious woman, he had heard way too many stories of people getting sloppy at the last moment and getting killed moments from victory. So he had his eyes out for any sort of trickery, and walked up to the woman and fired a shot at near point blank range into her head. With her out of the picture, he turned back towards the warehouse and activated his comlink once more.

"Bogie taken care off," he said as he began running back towards the ship, "heading your way now."

There was still some time before any sort of emergency response would show up, more than enough time for the Mandalorians to wrap up whatever they needed to do and slip away.

He saw the flash of blaster fire and the sound of the weapon being discharged but he still waited. There was no response of alternative weapon fire so he assumed that Dax had done his damage. Soon after the communication from his vod came through confirming his assumption. "Good. It looks like they did some of the work for us." He said as the flames inside the warehouse had begun to rise and smoke started seeping out the cracks here and there.

Koil had come to the compound to cause a ruckus that would bring the local authorities. He wanted to make it so that they would have to investigate the area and not allow the arms dealers to cover it up or get away with their operation. Now with the remnants of a fire fight and the damaged goods they law enforcement would put two and two together. The scene would look like a deal gone south between some arms dealers trying to sell to some smugglers or pirates perhaps. Either way, there was no trace of the mandalorians' involvement.

"Let's get back to the speeder and get out of here." He said before moving to get back to his Bident air speeder. It would be an easy getaway before the authorities arrived as they were ten minutes away at least. Another successful operation by Silent Badger and friends. He was glad his reputation was upheld. "I could use a drink."
