I hate when we've all have to wait for one person to make a move. Kills the flow of the RP.

We're not just waiting on this one person. There's a whole number of things that need to fall into place before the traitor can do anything.

By the by, I meant to point this out a couple of days ago, but the Jar,Kai form originates in a planet in the Outer Rim, where we haven't got to yet, so as a lightsaber form, it does not exist.
I shall ignore at fact and pretend otherwise.

This is a very good profile.

I think so too Mandy.

I hate RPs take have predetermined outcomes that simply serve to push the RP "forward" for the sake of the "story". It becomes boring and predictable and rather straight forward. I prefer by far RPs that I have no idea whats going to happen in the next five posts or who's going to join and send the whole thing in a completely different direction than anyone thought it was going to go.

(Fondly remembers the old days where all threads were open and unpredictable actions and events were the norm.)

Well, for the most part, this event is going to be unscripted. It's up to who the traitor really is. And the ONLY reason why it's known that there is even going to be a traitor is because people would be complaining like there's no tomorrow if they couldn't make a Sith or Dark Jedi faction. Or at least thought they couldn't. This way, people know that in time, there will be a dark side faction that they can join.

I think once the traitor comes then it will become more back to the old style. At least I hope so. Good to have you back.

So they can be weird and say I am more evil than you.

The only thing that's known is that a member of the Jedi Order is going to betray the Jedi and form a new order of darker individuals. Beyond that, nothing is known. This darker faction hasn't even developed yet, because that's up to the traitor to do once they leave the Jedi. And while you can argue that it's still somewhat predetermined, it was necessary. It was part of the approval process for this entire timeline. Had the Jedi Traitor element not been disclosed, it's very likely that the members would have never approved this timeline. That's because, like Kurt said, people would be complaining because they would think that they would not be able to join a dark side faction.

Your line, "a whole number of things that need to fall into place" made me think that certain actions and events that had been predetermined to be carried out by certain RPers to set up the Jedi who will betray the Order.

I ALWAYS come back, this place is like crack. I try to quit, go into withdrawal for a bit, and come back for just one more go:CHappy:

I personally think, and I'm pretty sure most of the members would agree, if somethings not about in canon and the Think Tank hasn't approved it, it's not availiable. That doesn't mean that dual lightsaber combat has not been discovered, you could probably do that with any of the 7 forms (with some practice), but Jar'kai itself takes it's name from a particular city, where dual saber combat was used.

I think so too Mandy.
It is good.

Well...it's not particularly predictable, and as Bac and Kurt said, we need a dark side major faction for certain members to join. But there are a number of events that need to happen, ie an IC cause for this guy to leave the Jedi order. I mean, he's not going to leave for no reason, such a thing would be foolish.
