STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Being a Wookiee garners him a natural strength that surpasses most individuals, but at the same tame gives him an animal rage that must be controlled in order to maintain his sanity. Though it has not happened yet, when in a fight he's always a step away from baring his claws and shaming himself amongst his own people. He is also inclined mechanically and keeps up most maintenance on his own weaponry without assistance.

PERSONALITY:
He is loyal to a fault, as most Wookiees are, but unlike some others he is also prone to fits of violence with little or no provocation. Though relatively kind and likable as long as not crossed, he holds a grudge longer than most life-debts.
HISTORY:
Born on Kashyyyk over 70 standard years ago, he was raised as most Wookiees are, taught to hunt and survive on his own whenever necessary. It wasn't until his 15th year that his life started to change. He was hunting, for the first time, in the shadow lands, when a group of slavers stunned him and stole him away from the planet. This happened to many of his kind, though his ultimate circumstances were far different from those of most of the others.
While most captured Wooks were put to work in spice mines, or on controlled worlds as any type of heavy labor, Arri was held in captivity, and used as a 'gladiator' in one of the Taris fighting rings. It was here that he spent many years of his life, and where he started keeping tally of his kills on his own arm in ink. This was also the place where he learned most of his higher fighting skills, he'd always feigned loyalty to his captors, and in return they had taught him all he needed to know to escape.
The battles he was put in were no holds barred, any weapon, any way, to the death. His captors made the mistake of entering him in one such battle, without a protective field between the combatants and the crowd, this was said to make it even more interesting as everyone was in danger. This was the opportunity Arri had been waiting for, it was about halfway through the match when he finally got his hands on a repeating rifle. He used the stock of the weapon to rend his opponent unconscious, and then began taking shots into the crowd, while everyone simply assumed he'd gone mad, his 'owner' was the only one injured, fatally. By the time anyone realized the implication, Arri had disappeared deep into the Undercity.
Many years later, he finally made his way off-planet, after hiding for so long he used every credit he'd made, oddly enough all from fighting the same duels he'd escaped from, to begin touring the galaxy, to see what he'd missed....
