Pellios reviewed the bids and knew even before he announced them that some would again choose to withhold any offer on the second lot. But the Devaronian was confident someone would purchase the vehicle and as it would happen he was right. The Kowakian Devil Fleet ended up being the group to earn the batch of walkers.

“Thank you, thank you, bidding for lot two has now ended.” The man raised a red sunkissed forearm to his head and adjusted some of his graying hair with the palm of his hand. If people were unimpressed with the first two walkers, they might be more appreciative of what came next.

“Now this next lot some of you may be familiar with. They make excellent defense and can even walk along the outer hulls of ship yards. Lot three is none other than a quartet of All-Terrain Armored Transport walkers.” The image of the quadruped walkers was shown in a group of four. Their armament and durability spoke for itself. “With these walkers you can convert them as you see fit. They can remain as weapons of war or serve as mobile cranes for industrial sectors, elevated landing pads in treacherous terrain, whatever your dreams are they can be made with just a few AurekTrill- AurekTrills. Please begin to make your bids.”

Pellios was aware that most people knew his suggestion of alternative uses was just for show. The AT-ATs dwarfed the previous walkers in every aspect and it was literally and figuratively in a class above. While the ‘chicken’ scout walkers could devastate squads, the four-legged war walkers could destroy armies. These could make any one man a warlord on a backwater world and certainly bolster the military might of any who was lucky enough to win them.

[Hugo Parasini]

Hugo sighed, more GCW-era walkers. For a third time, Hugo will pass. He's starting to wonder if this is worth his time nor not. The AT-ATs are too ponderous and would not be suitable for defending Hugo's desert colony world, as powerful as they are. Plus he doesn't even have the means to even transport them or anything to make up for their slow speed. The auctioneer spoke of industrial uses, and they are really dubious. If Hugo wanted a mobile crane, the Conveyor-class Heavy Transport would probably be better.

Maybe this will be the last of them.

[Kellan Solari]

The AT-ATs were as iconic a weapon as was ever produced by the Galactic Empire, but they were largely one born out of the need to transport vast numbers of troops safely across difficult terrain. A cabal of dissidents would likely have little use for them. Solari reached the orbit of the group of pirates, casually leaning against the wall. When the auctioneer's seeking gaze found him out in the crowd, he gave a small shake of his to express his disinterest.

Tempest considered the offer for several moments - weighing just how useful the Walker’s might prove for future endeavors. Drumming her fingers in thought for a moment, the Dark Lord finally opted to place a bid for the vehicles.

Pellios was a bit surprised at the lackluster response to the All Terrain Tactical Walkers. But there were a few bids that still managed to come in at the last few moments. The Devaronian smiled and bowed his horned head to the audience both present and remote. "Thank you all for your bids. Lot three is now closed."

The AT-ATs would end up going to the Red Hand. The mysterious group had untold uses for the military hardware. But it was not the man's business to know what they would do with it, it was just his job to get it to them. They were relatively unheard of until recently and were likely just a small group of Mandalorians. However he doubted they had the capital to continue making offers in the rest of the auction.

"Moving right along we can now move on to lot four." He gestured towards the display as it projected the six legged image of yes, another walker. "I know this design is even older than the previous lot but that just speaks to its durability and usefulness to this day. The All Terrain Tactical Enforcer walker has climbing capabilities and can be troop transports in addition to its notable armament." He gave a pause to let the tank be seen by the present attendees before continuing. "These walkers come with a complemental pair of All Terrain Reconnaissance Transport walkers in each. There are a total of ten AT-TEs in this lot and twenty AT-RTs. Please begin placing your bids now."

Either Pellios did not have the audiences attention or perhaps a broadcast from the latest Hyperlane Harald was just published. Announcing the AT-TEs along with the AT-RT walkers did not have the expected affect on the present audience. All the same there were a few tenative bids spaced out. In the end it was the Taanab Agroecological Cooperative that won the walkers.

"I believe that concludes our walker portion of the auction. But our next lot is still of the heavy armor variety and boasts pragmatic treads. Lot five is a dozen TX-225 GAVw Combat Assault Tanks. Now that's a mouthful I know so I just call it, the Occupier. "

He paused to give some individuals the chance to enter their early bids before continuing but he did not wait long. "This model has a duranium composite shell that can stand up to any small arms fire short of a hundred high powered disintegrators." Disintegrator weapons were the type of rare technology limited to AMS extermination squads or the most ruthless bounty hunters and assassins. So chances were, there would not be any people walking around with antitank weapons. "Bidding will end for this lot in five minutes. Please begin."

Solari’s ears perked at the mention of the tanks. A mobile assault vehicle suited to a variety of roles, such weapons would be exceedingly valuable to a dissident cause. Taking a few a few distancing steps from the space where the pirates held court, he tapped his datapad and entered his bid.

[Vako Yizok]

Vako had not been able to join the auction directly, but he was still a known enforcing arm in the Syndicates. He had garnered quite the war chest jumping from one side to the next when the opportunity was right, and had built contacts that were well and worth it. He had managed an auction such as the one he was in previously before the Sith-ISC war on behalf of the Black Sun, and through that he knew just about every independent arms dealer in every ring of the rim.

He had heard well what was up for sale here, and that was the reason he came. Not to make it rich, but his own desire to be prepared for some more lucrative operations. The galaxy may have been shifting its true powers, but the local wars never stopped. Resources, materials, industry, and the simple capitol of labor were things people were willing to kill for, and they needed people to kill for them.

Walkers were not something he had a stomach for managing the maintenance for, and he did not know much about managing that many tanks. He'd let this lot pass, but he was still eager to come away with something.

Pellios checked his personal wrist chrono and noted the time. The auction was proceeding close enough to schedule. The devilish armsdealer made some quick calculations on how much his cut was going to b by the end of this. They were only half way through the auction and would be moving on to the second half soon enough. The twelve Occupier assault tanks were going to @Kellan Solari or rather, whatever shell organization or front the Empire was using to purchase the warmachines. It was all very secretive and thorough.

"Thank you for your bids everyone. That was your last chance for lot five. Now let us move onto lot six." He cleared his throat before continuing, signaling for a server droid to bring him a drink. The man was projecting as best he could without seeming like he was shouting.

"Please consider whether lot six is worth your time as I present to you sixty, that's six zero, Aratech 421-B speeder bikes. These bikes boast two medium blaster cannons and can reach a height of thirty meters while maintaining speeds of over six hundred kilometers per hour."

"Now I know what you're think. 'Captain Pellios, these speeder bikes require a probe droid.'" He spoke, pretending to be a shrill sounding heckler which earned a few chuckles from those nearby. "Don't worry. Each of these bikes comes with a 11-3K model viper probe droid which are designed to not self-destruct like most other probe droids on the market. You don't want to have your speeder bikes blowing up when the painting gets scratched or a Wookiee leans on it." The Devaronian kept up the smile to keep the mood light and spirits high. They were getting a deal so he hoped to see a lot of happy faces looking back. "Please place your bids."

[Vako Yizok]

Those bikes were exactly why Vako came. Tanks? Good in the hands of someone that had an Army and was interested in the transport and cost to move them. Walkers? Perfect for an army that wanted to scare a million on-worlders that had no way to move out.

But those bikes? He could fit them, and an entire swoop gang of the meanest galactic killers in a single bulk freighter, drop in, raise hell, and be gone before anyone knew they were there.

Vako had long since learned the merits of being a raider. He'd been imprisoned as a POW enough times to not want to play around in a pitched fight anymore.

He happily slapped in his bid and would be ready on a moment's notice to raise it.

[Ajax Lawson]

Ajax arrived to the auction a little later than everyone else here, and from the surroundings there were pretty prominent names here. Something he didn't have yet. What he did have was his money from the past contracts he had completed. So it'd be worth trying to help out Apex where he could. A good start would have been those walkers he had seen, but not everyone can win them all. Now up on the block was some sexy looking speeders, and droids with them?

The possibilities of what could be, a fast strike and sending the droid out to scout for the contractors. This was a valuable asset for the company. The other contractors would have an easier time getting there money, and the employers would get what they want quicker. Plus, the idea of rocking one for himself made him a little giddy inside. "Well shit.. I gotta."

Tempest was slightly more interested in the present lot. After a moment of consideration, the Dark Lord placed her bid for the assortment of tanks.

One way or another Pellios was getting paid by the end of the day. Everyone had an eye for military grade hardware, it was just a matter of value. But in the end it was one of the many remote attendees that would win the bid for lot Six. @Darth Tempest would see a confirmation that her offer had been accepted and she would soon be in possession of sixty Aratech speeder bikes and accompanying probe droids. "Thank you all very much for your offers. Bidding for lot six has now come to an end."

The Devaronian accepted the libation that had his name on it. His hands lifted the glass and he took a sip before handing it off again to the server. He only needed to wet his whistle before continuing.

"If you liked the last lot you may be even more keen to make an offer on lot seven. Offered here are a twenty (20) HMP gunships. Don't mistake these for ordinary vehicles. These are intelligent droids that a can maneuver in an assortment of crowded and open environment. Each carries a hefty payload and have their droid brains intact. These machines are ruthless in their efficiency but they can be retrofitted to rely on an analog pilot." The droid gunships would tend to overheat if running at high speed for prolonged periods but the man omitted that information. The HMP gunships had a history during the Clone Wars and could serve well alongside other automated forces if any of the attendees were so inclined. "Please begin making your bids!"

[Dismas Zaa Fenn]

Truth be told, the auction dragged on for a bit and Dismas was sure he had seen some holo-attendees disappear after the second round of walkers. Not all of the bids made sense, either, like the space nomadic Kowakian Fleet bidding on ground vehicles. It seemed like they were bidding as a proxy group, which Dismas guessed made some sense for they had known ties to the Jedi Order and they.. they seemed absent.

Regardless, when twenty HMP gunships appeared on the lot the heir apparent of the Zaa Fenn Crime Family knew what was expected of him. He knew his mother, you see, he knew Kara Zaa Fenn and droid-operated gunships were right up her alley. Preef Callo might not understand, for he preferred to pull the trigger himself, and neither would the pirate captain that had accompanied him here today. Tall Tulo didn't care for anything that wasn't hyperdrive capable.

Usually, Dismas the astro-navigator agreed with the weequay's sentiment. The credits for his bid weren't his own, however, and he was keen to prove to his mother than he could think like the Fixer she had tried to raise him to become.

Vako still remembered being on Nar Shadda when the droids of the Cymorrah Syndicate dropped down on the Hutt loyalists. Those were very dark days indeed. Plague, famine, and war were what became the Rim. He did not like Preef Callo one bit, though the two were never even the same room, but for the reputation that left people like Vako living in fear for years. Now those days may have been in the passed, but he still remembered what an Army of Droids could do.

Now walking may not have been the most natural to a Toydarian, but when considering what the future may hold, he could certainly understand taking wing and having far too much firepower.

He didn't have control of the bikes he wanted... but these may have been a nice and easy secondary solution.

Vako slapped in an eager bid, and folded his arms, fluttering on the hologram waiting to see who else was eager for some old war droids.

Kellan had been so engrossed in communicating the acquisition of the Oppressor tanks that he utterly failed to notice the bid for the speeder bikes. By the time he relayed the critical details to his retainer, the shrewd Devaronian auctioneer had moved onto a set of tempting gunships. The Imperial quickly checked his remaining credit limit before motioning to enter his bid.

Well the bikes were gone, which sucked major bantha d- OHHHHH, what did we have here? Some Droid gunships? Those would be insanely handy in Ajax's line of work. As Ajax was getting ready to hit bid, he saw the prices of the bids popping up. "Wow.." He whispered to himself. Looked like he was sitting this one out unfortunately. Maybe the next lot had what he wanted.

Pellios's pervasive smile broadened as he saw the entries come in on Lot Seven. The HMP droid gunships appeared to be a hot item. The desire for airborne assets was greater than that of walkers. But the Devaronian arms dealer could see why. "Thank you, all. Bidding for lot seven has now ended." Many would be dismayed to see they had not won the HMP gunships but one lucky individual would see their credits well spent. @Dismas Zaa Fenn would see an alert pop up on his device letting him know he was the winner of the twenty automated vehicles.

"Next is another aerial unit and presented here in more numbers than the last lot. I present lot eight, which is a dependable thirty (30) Low Altitude Assault Transport/Interdiction & Enforcement patrol gunships. These LAAT/IEs sport not one but two concussion missile launchers and three laser cannons which make this gunship an essential asset to any peacekeeping and planetary defense force. On core planet like Corsucant or outer rime worlds like Lothal, these vehicles carry a dozen individuals and a standard ton of cargo without issue." Letting the audience read some of the specicifcations themselves he would keep himself from rambling on. "You may begin your bidding now."

Undeterred, Vako pressed on. He did not land the speeders, fine. His was a flying species anyway and that would just complicate things. He could not handle acquiring the droids, just as alright, Syndicate soldiers did not trust them and they were hard to find parts for anyway. Not to mention they could be hacked and used against one.

Vako was good at justifying ill fortune. But he was determined. He had been on the galactic scene for years and was not going to get outdone by the new young inheritors of the legacy's of great peoples. He was still around and had a destiny to carve out.

Vako went in again, seeing just as much value in these aging craft as anything else.
