Ark...we're all mad here in this place...
A place that has seen death, that has dealt death...
and deals it with a smile...
Ark Asylum was once a place of order...relatively. Until Atrox was sent there...the judge declared him insane, but rehabilitational...silly man. They made a mistake, a common one....people often see rehab for a crazy person as establishing control. Control over the illness...the disease...but when the disease is in the bone it gets in the blood and the blood keeps on pumping. So you give a crazy man control...bad things happen...
He killed essentially everyone that was fully functional. The doctors, the staff...everyone. He could use the force, much to their dismay. Lambs to the slaughter...though it took some time. He also killed off everyone that was unable to function. The useless ones, the ones to broke to hold anything or be anyone...the good ones who he could find no use for were decimated as well. The deranged, the criminally insane...they lived...and they killed.
The Ark Asylum was a traveling Capital Ship, built however to keep people in rather than out. It had one squad of fighters, and two bomber class ships, not equipped with bombs, but strong disabling weaponry EMP based and tractor beams. It was set for tracking down the dangerous ones and bringing them back...
Well...now that's in the hands of the inmates, as well as the state of the art Chem lab...the ship has been reported missing, but it hasn't been located, the tracing mechanisms seem to have been disabled when it was last on route to the mid rim...

Ranks
Ward Master - Leader
Tribunal Council - Council made under the Ward master, small in number and in charge of various duties. Mostly keeping the others in line. They are the highly functional, yet most deranged of the Ark. They will also be in charge of carrying out high detailed projects, and assigning orders from the Ward Master to the Wardens.
Wardens - Another high function position, if the Tribunal are the officers, the Warden is the Sergent, and often the Drill Sergent too, keeping the Tribunals job of keeping the rest in line and leading missions.
Touched - mid-low functionality. Essentially they were the ones who have been turned mad by the Warden Masters chem's and force abilities, or by the torture inflicted on others. They're the shock troopers, addicted to chem's and used for cannon fodder. Surprisingly however, the ones that are clever, of mid or high functionality that are placed in this position end up ranking up rather quickly due to the nature of their tasks.
Malkav's - Seer's. Low functionality, but high insight. The Malkav's are those who can perceive things that only make sense to them. Skilled in farsight, a force ability that was unknowingly learned through their madness. Often used as advisors, but to understand them you'd need to be rather insane...luckily however we have those in abundance. Note: Don't give them combat orders...
Broken: The broken are the middle men. They've earned their title and place but have not advanced much for one reason or another. Considered higher ranking than the touched and the criminally insane.
Criminally Insane: Not actually referred to by this title. They are the entry levels, those not worthy of a title yet and who were born with their mental maladies.

OOC NOTE
I expect characters afflicted with actual psychological issues. I also expect to see them acted out in the RP, and not simply ignored, or used only when it fit's your mood. These people are royally ****ed in the head, and can't simply turn on or off their maladies. List their derangement in their profile, with a link to a description of the derangement please.
