History​

Ariik was born on the planet Tatooine to a pair of jawa scrap merchants, just about the only profession any jawa had on the planet. His parents would teach the young jawa all sorts of things about their work: How to pilot the sandcrawler, how to fix up old droids, and even how to determine the value of some starship parts. These would all be important things to know, if he were to take over the family business some day.

On one faithful day however, his parents would do business with a strangely dressed man. He wore armor like the small jawa had never seen before, shiny and well painted. Apparently, the man was having some issues getting his land speeder working and wanted a hand. Ariik's parents ended up cutting a deal with him, and decided to bring their son along for the experience. While the two older jawa's worked on the man's speeded, he would regale their young son with tales of his travels, and what he did for a living. He was a bounty hunter, a mandalorian... The stories drew in the small jawa, inspiring him to take up such a trade some day... Scrapping parts and stealing from travelers was hardly an honest living.

As the young boy grew older, he too would scavenge parts collecting several which resembled pieces of armor. Similar to that of the mandalorian's. He had even managed to pick up a decent quality blaster. By the time he was a teenager, the set of armor was complete, and just in time... One dark night, a clan of Tusken raiders attacked their sandcrawler! Ariik could hear the blaster fire and cries of pain from outside, and dawned his poorly constructed suit of armor. A large battle would ensue, with a couple of tuskens managing to gun him down with cycler rifles... The poor jawa would be down for the count...

Moments later however, he would awaken to the sound of true blaster fire. The mandalorian he had seen from so many years ago had returned! How did he know to come? Was it fate? Destiney? The small jawa watched on in awe, as the stranger easily outmatched the remainder of the tuskens, forcing them to flee into the night. Seeing the lone Jawa boy, the mandalorian would give him a hand, "I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner kid... What do ya say you come with me, and we get ya a real suit of armor?"

Still frightened, yet comforted at the same time, he would join the mandalorian. Together, they would travel to the underground fortress Aranov. In the years which followed, he would learn the ways of forging beskar from the pervious forgemaster. With such knowledge, he would prove to be a valuable asset to any mandalorian who sough to improve themselves.

Skills​
  • Armorsmithing. Ariik's greatest strength lies in his ability to create unique and powerful suits of beskar armor, tailored to the skillset of mandalorian who wear's them. He has crafted over twenty suits of beskar'gam in his time, including his own. He is also very skilled at using his suit's armor functions to their very fullest. Overall Skill Level: Above Average.

  • Blasters. Ariik's has been trained by a variety of mandalorians in the art of using both blaster pistols and rifles. He is by no means an expert marksmen, but certainly couldn't be called below average either. Overall Skill Level: Average.

  • Piloting. Ariik's roots as a jawa scrapper have trained him in the art of piloting and repairing land vehicles. His time as a mandalorian taught him the same aspects about piloting and repairing ships. Overall Skill Level: Above Average.

  • Trading. While his parents were excellent traders, Ariik received very little training in the trading arts, and is actually not the best at brokering deals of any kind. Overall Skill Level: Below Average.
