Pssh, don't listen to that bullshit. I drink 'em all the time and I am perfectly healthy, hell I drank five of the damn thing on a car trip once and I'm healthy.

Maybe so. I mean when I have one or two, I feel fine and calm. Awake of course, but I don't go ape-shit.

Yes, they can be bad for you. Depending on your body's tolerance, you could crash pretty hard after their effects wear off, even if you're 'perfectly healthy'. It depends on the energy drink itself though. One every now and then won't do anything to you though, so don't sweat it.

The thing with drinks like Red Bull is that they CAN'T prove that the stuff isn't harmful.

Which is why it's banned in some European countries.

So yes, they can be potentially harmful if you're a big wuss and can't take it.

Most likely depends on what kind you drink. I drink PowerAde and Bawls Guarana every now and then and I feel fine. Actualy, I had a Guarana this morning...

It's all about regulating the amount you know you can handle. I know one kid that get's hyper after half a can of it, so he dosn't drink it. I can have five and they just make me more alert.

Where did you hear that?

An unbiased, thoughtful and planned medical study... ...or a news organization that twisted said study, or just put a wild word out, to please its sponsors - who are probably the other big-time beverage makers who feel that their business is being encroached upon?

Anything in excess is pretty bad.

Then-again, I kind of drink three or four Cokes a day... :CHappy:

Every energy drink I've ever tried made me feel drowsy. To get myself hyped up, I just induce an adrenaline rush. Run in front of traffic, punch a stranger in the face, etc. etc.

I heard it from regular people; unreliable, I know. And most of them are nerds or Asians.

But I can't say I agree with it. I love Monster and I just finished a 24 FL. OZ can of it. I feel fine and dandy. The only problem is I have to piss like hell.

True that. Adrenaline rushes are what makes me hyper. Or if some hot chick makes a move on me or something.

Monster is so ****ing bitter. It's an acquired taste. Not my cup of tea.
