DESCRIPTION​

The AE-52 bomber is a new design of bomber for the Republic, drawn up ahead of any actual orders by eager designers who are aware that war is coming. Though uncertain if the Republic will need to wage war against the Sith Empire, the designers made sure to design the bomber as if it were to need to go to war with the Sith Empire.

With this in mind, it was designed primarily for the purpose of destroying capital ships with a punch that far outweighs it's own weight. Though advanced for it's class, the Republic has the sheer credits and the population to field these ships in large numbers to swamp over capital ships and destroy them by sheer weight of numbers and heavy ordinence.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. Pilots must be registered members of the Republic Naval Forces or the Defence Fleets of member systems.

INTENT​

To give the Republic an anti capital ship bomber to counter those available to the Sith Empire that is more compact and portable via carrier.

YES. Advanced Republic bomber that will need a plot to be developed.
