Hailed from the remote world of Sorgan, Anton Sai was born into an extended family of krill farmers. Life was hard for the Sai clan but it was bearable and peaceful for the most part. Even so as a child Anton developed a restless nature that conflicted with his village’s isolation. Despite attempts to suppress it over the years he dreamed of going out to the galaxy inspired by the stories from merchants and travelers that occasionally visit.

At age sixteen Anton ran away from home. He stowaway onboard a mid freighter. The youth eventually ended up on Corellia where he promptly got himself robbed by con artists and mistreated by many for being a foreigner. Desperate and embittered Anton became a small time thief in Cornet City, roaming the streets for two years.

However, during a store heist he was abandoned by his partners in crime and arrested by a Corsec Officer named Jon Borne. The latter had pity on the young man and during the interrogation convinced him to turn in his former associates. In exchange Borne pulled some strings and got Anton released from custody to do community service.

Indebted by that act of mercy he straightened his act and eventually with Officer Borne’s guidance managed to make himself a legal resident.

Of course the criminals Anton had informed were members of an infamous gang and their leader found out what happened. As a result a hit was called on Anton and he was nearly murdered one night. Officer Borne, his mentor convinced the youth it was time for him to leave Corellia. Reluctant nonetheless Anton did so by enlisting with the Republic marines.

For the next thirteen weeks Anton trained on the planet Ralltiir. Despite the harsh regiment and initial problems he developed a sense of belonging with the Corps, especially with many of his fellow recruits. Following graduation Anton was assigned to the Fourth Republic Marine Division as the new galactic war escalated.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Anton Sai is an eager young man determined to prove his mettle. Hailing from a remote world in the Outer Rim he can be very self conscious about it and tries to hide that aspect about himself as much as possible. Secretly Anton does miss his family back on Sargon but generally prefers to do stuff to keep his mind off those memories. He has fully adopted Corellia’s culture, having grown fond of that world despite a terrible impression initially.


As a marine Anton is a proud member and a fun drinking buddy with his squad mates. While not one to give sage wisdom to friends he can be dependable especially in a brawl. While his past as a street thief gives him shame Anton utilIzes the experiences when in a tough spot. All in all the new marine is inexperienced and has to learn about life but is committed to his course.

A B I L I T I E S

As a former thief Anton knows how to sneak around, fight rough and pickpocket most others with little notice. He also can hotwire a speeder and drive it. Following boot camp Anton is a trained marksman with talent in close quarters combat but not experienced yet. In addition the young man has some skill in krill cooking as well.
