Kal Jericho waited on his ship, the Jericho, for the new trainee's arival. He looked at his datapd, former slaver, he would touch on that. A trandoshan hunter, formidable to be sure. Hmmm, this one could turn out good. Of course for once Kal himself wouldn't be training him, his trusted advisor Ares would be taking him on as an apprentice.

Ares stood motionless as he waited for the door to accept his clearence code. The door slid apart with a hiss as he stepped through the opening that was created. "Greetings Kal." he said as he stopped infront of his new boss. He was wearing his armor, with his helmet under his left arm. "So when is this new guy supposed to show up?"

Kal nodded to him, "Ares, always glad to see you. He should be showing up at any time. Now as you know I always like to test new recruits as soon as they come. So just stand back a bit with your arms crossed and look intimidating." Kal waited for the new guy to show up, he should be here any minute. He pulled out his small holdout blaster and aimed it at the door for when it opened.....

Reaching the location which he had been told instructed, Ash'amur Skirta entered the code which had also been sent to him and watched as the door slid open. He was as usual wearing his light slaver armor, which protected only his upper torso. When the door opened, and he saw a blaster pointed at him he dropped his right hand quickly to his side falling upon the hilt of one of his Bryar pistols. Glancing with his reptilian eyes he averted his gaze quickly between the two figures in the room, his teeth now barring in a snarl as he discreetly hit the charge button on the pistol; an action which would trigger the weapon to charge energy for a large burst shot; he stood awaiting to see if he would need to draw the weapon.

The buzzing in the back of Ares head started to drone before the door even opened. It wasn’t at a concerning level, more of an annoyance than anything else. He had no idea about the past or backround of this new initiate, but the buzzing meant that the trandoshan had caused some sort of pain to someone or something in the past. With his helmet on, Ares was able to hide most of his reaction, but there was nothing that could hide his body language. His instinct was to sling his rifle up to bring it into firing position, but knowing he wouldn’t be able to do things his normal way anymore, he stopped himself. He remained stoic after the little episode, arms folded across his chest.
