"I'm not a Jedi for starters, the Jedi are a narrow minded bunch indeed," he said, "and we do use ships, but we tend to use shuttles, freighters and fighters rather than capital ships," Cain spoke truthfullt. He had considered comadeering or buying a capital ship for the order as a whole, but currently he saw little reason for one. They had plenty of small ships in their enclave, and he did have other plans concerning space. He continued, "and if you want me to prove the Force to you, you need to open your mind and have some faith. If you don't want it to work, it won't. If you're willing to open your mind, then close your eyes and listen to your instincts. Relax."

 

[Tsar Fire]

Derek gave a last, longing look at the hangar, and made a final plea. "It's better than anything else of its size.. they people who made it won't miss it... its just rotting away in there... and..." He voiced something that had been troubling him. "The slavers.. the zekga slavers... the name of the family that commissioned this ship was zekga... I thought it might be coincedence, but its almost too ridiculous to be one...." He glanced imploringly at the "not" jedi, and tried to reason through his sudden doubts.

He still couldn't think through the clamoring voices in his head.

Cain did not know the name, "we will eradicate the slavers. But you will fail without help. We can claim all of their ships when we return and get rid of them, I promise. If you agree to my training you mus either be completely trained or not trained at all, do not enter into it lightly. When we return after your training you can comandeer all the Zekga ships you want, they'll still be here for the taking. You must have patience if you ever hope to use the Force, and you can use it, trust me. And you will be capable of taking them. Will you let me teach you?" He was asking a lot, him to put his complete faith into a stranger. But Cain could make him into a great Knight.

 

[Tsar Fire]

Derek stood for a long moment, then sighed. He felt... compelled to listen to this stranger, and knew that.... something about listening to him felt... right...
True... there was something that felt wrong... but it was faint... very faint...

Derek shook his head to try and dispel doubts, and the voices, before saying. "I will go with you." He gave the ship inside a last look, its sleek lines and deadly weapons glinting softly in the shadows. I will come back and free you too. Then... I will stop others from sharing my fate...

"Take me to your ship then, and teach me what you will."

 

[Ols]

Cain led him to the spaceport, to his small freighter and motioned for him to get on board.

"We are going to Thyferra, welcome to the Shade Order."
