Metallic pangs of resistant plated roof echoed throughout the streets of Hunnan city. Few braved the torrential downpour and even less were seen around the Bashan slums. Those found outside their shelter hastily sought their objectives to reduce exposure; except for three. They stood outside the large imposing doors to an unassuming warehouse. located at the far end of a seedy street. Walkways met across a small landing area meant for incoming shipments. Grime from aged dirt mixed with derelict minerals caked the area. One of the three broke from his pack and rushed towards the edge where an old panel covered by rust was found. Loud aged creaking clashed with the ambient white noise. The man grunted in frustration as he tried to pull the unused level. Loud clacks of electricity sparked out from ragged wiring to shock him. Expletives were muddied by whirring mechanisms. Poles with shining green lights rose from along the landing zones edges. Along the ground, white lights flickered in a pattern. With the task completed, he raced back to his comrades under the overhang. "Karking ancient tech!" He exclaimed. "We need someone to fix that wiring. I almost killed over when that rats nest of wiring arched at my hand. Mark my words, someone's going to get electrocuted one of these days." Along his arm was a black circle made of burnt soot. The blackened ash bleed down as it washed away in the rain. Another piped up in response, slightly distracted as they searched the horizon through a single eyed monocular. "Yeah, that's not a priority right now." His head moved slightly left to right before smiling. "There they are." He said confidently as the device was concealed in a small pouch. Replacing it was a long range two way communicator. "Nest to baby bird, we see you entering east to west. You got a strong tailwind coming up. Slow speed and decent, over." Static buzzed and a pleasant double chirp played as his finger was removed from the com.

Across the eastern hemisphere of Kattada, large storms raged incessantly. Their enormous mass seemingly impenetrable. Sailing across their darkened overcast came a small vessel which stirred clouds as it soared across like a shooting star. Ilphy'Mia flipped a switched on the control board which dulled the exposure and illuminated the interior of the cockpit in a dim blue light. "Buckle up." She suggested to her co-pilot. However, there wasn't much of a generous time frame before plummeting into the blacked abysmal tropical storm. Strong gusts of vengeful wind nearly ripped the controls from her hands. Turbulence shook the ship like tremors shake earth. There was a wicked smile that spread across her face as a peculiar rattling from the payload dings like wind chimes. "Buckle up.""What do you think will happen first? These things explode or we make through? I'm secretly hoping for the former."[/color] She let's out a sadistic laugh. The tone in her voices seemed all too serious . Clearly she was joking or she thought it was. Lucky for them, the later happened but to her surprise, they had burst through into a nose dive. "Whoops!" She chuckled, pulling back on the controls with all her strength. Eventually leveling out. Another flip of an off-color switch along the board and jets begin to ease. That's when a communication comes through. Their client informs them about the conditions for their landing.

Carefully following those instructions resulted in a rather long decent. Using the lights, she position the craft with tail pointing towards the entrance of the warehouse. The landing gear released and they set down hard. The ship rattling with a loud creaking sound. Doors opened in the rear and the sound of rain permeated into the ships hull along with a thick misty humid gust. Ilphy grabbed her hooded coat from the rack along the port side before leaving the cockpit. The warehouse doors opened to reveal an automated pallet moving towards the rear hatch. Three men start walking towards them with clever smiles on their face. Ilphy'Mia frowned in response. They looked ugly with that stupid look. 'Maybe' she thought 'I'll wipe those smirks off later.'

Asminys hated flying. Not particularly the whole flying part. The speed, the danger, that was exhilarating. No, what he hated was the complete and utter lack of control when someone else was behind the stick. Especially when that someone was a cackling madwoman who couldn't quite decide whether she wanted to land the ship safely or turn them into a fireball along with their explosive payload. Asminys forgave her though, he had had plenty of his own cackling madman moments. Kriff happens when you party hard with the darkside.

"If you have aspirations of becoming a fireball in the sky don't let me stop you, just let me off here." He said with a sarcastic sneer. Personally he preferred the latter. Whenever his time came he would rather it to be in the heat of battle doing what he loved. But he would take a marginally survivable several mile fall over an unavoidable fiery conflagration in the sky. It seemed that today wasn't the day however as they came through the clouds and levelled off to a more reasonable speed. The landing instructions came through and Asminys figured there was no need for him in the cockpit anymore.

"I'm gonna check on the cargo." He stated as he stood up, tugging at his blast vest to fix how it sat on his shoulders after being crammed up against the back of the chair. Taking his leave of the cockpit Asminys didn't have far to go to the ships storage bay. The crate containing the explosives seemed undamaged but he popped the seal to check on the goods. Rows of cylindrical explosives were tucked carefully inside of mold-formed recesses for safe shipping. Hefting one of the devices out of the box he examined it with a careful grip. Wouldn't do to survive the madwoman's driving just to drop the bomb and blow himself up on the way down.

Before he could get much further past that thought the ship lurched hard as it came down to land. Gripping the bomb tightly in one hand as he caught himself against the rim of the crate with the other he shot a nasty look towards the cockpit. "Crazy kriffing driver" he muttered to himself as he moved to replace the explosive in the crate before changing his mind with another sidelong glance towards the cockpit. Sealing the crate, he wrapped the ill-gotten bomb in a nearby rag and stuffed it in a storage locker just before his fellow Sith entered the storage bay.

"All good here." He said with a straight face as the rear opened up and he eyed the welcoming committee. They seemed a bit too happy to see the pair of Sith. Did they know they were Sith? Asminys wasn't too clear on the details but he didn't really care. If they crossed him, they'd lose their heads. Wasn't much there for him to worry about. "We got the goods, you got the cash?" He asked them as they approached, puffing his chest out a bit as he glared at them.

Mia enjoyed having someone around that could withstand her endearing behavior. Asminys' contribution to their comradely was heartily welcomed. She detested complacency. The human relations droid she normally partnered with often talked back. Those interactions were based on an algorithm added post manufacturing. Meaningless conversations that hid a one-sided nature. For her this change symbolized something. More often her nefarious adventures ended with someone dead. Some say it comes with the territory. Mia took this chance to relax and be personable. Asminys may not have noticed at the time but Mia practiced smiling in mirrored glances.

Frowning as first, she turned it into a crooked smile. People felt eased and often took longer to perceive a threat when faced with a kind expression. Mia's attempt was anything. Three seemingly innocuous grins turned to curious skepticism. Replying with the subtitle of a raging storm she said "What!?" in an angry fit. This caused some apprehension but seeing as she was a woman, they chuckled it off. They skewed what perceptions they may have had. Emboldened by the reckless remark they responded fondly "We're anxious to meet our heroic supporters." Mia let out a breathy scoff through her nose and turned her back. All four walked into the hanger where they met Asminys.

Trusting her partner would be more personable, she sided up against the wall to watch their interaction. The obvious leader furrowed his brow to match the plotting grin which spread. "I'm sorry." He said as his hand clicked a small device on his hip. "We'll have to renegotiate." Metal creaked and a silent thunder rumbled ground under-foot. Mia felt something inside her change. Blood rushed through her extremities. Suddenly she felt trapped. "How's life in prison?" He said bringing out a blaster to aim at Asminys. The other two approached Mia to restrain her but she was already on guard: palming the lightsaber in hand. There hands reached out and, in a bright crimson flash, suddenly lost their target. Disarmed, literally, the two reeled in pain. From outside, the origins of the vibration could be seen. New republic soldier, ten in all, filed out into the landing zone.

Asminys was only a tiny bit surprised when the deal went south. Not because he hadn't been expecting it, but because it was kriffing suicidal of the man to cross him. They couldn't have known they were Sith, marching in so cocksure of an arrest that they tipped their hand before even drawing their blasters.

"Big mistake." Asminys grinned as the blaster leveled on him. A shadow of doubt echoed in the man's expression. Snap-hiss. Asminys crimson saber flashed to life as the dead man pulled the trigger at the sign of the saber from the Sith woman. A casual upwards sweep of the blade sent the blaster bolt flying up into the ceiling followed by a downwards slash. The man screamed as his blaster and the hand holding it was split in half. His scream was cut short as the tattooed Sith's blade swept through his neck, leaving his head gasping as it rolled off the ship, vision fading as he silently tried to shout warning to the New Republic soldiers that were his backup.

"Who's next boys?!" Asminys shouted at the men who lined the landing zone, lightsaber held in a high guard above his head, blade pointing at the middle soldier. Fear flashed on the soldiers faces as their eyes went from the head at their feet and back to the Sith, blasters at the ready but uncertainty in their hearts. "Careful with those things," His words carrying through the warehouse hangar, "Wouldn't want anybody else to... Lose their heads." His laugh echoing in the minds of the soldiers. The suddenness of the violence had taken them by surprise, the cavalier attitude of the Sith in front of them unsettled them further.

The counterpart to her misadventure took limb and life it appeared. With the two whom attacked her writhing on the ground she wondered how long to spare them. Surprised the pain of losing their forearms wasn't shock enough to pass out. Their lives were basically forfeit but still useful to her in the grand scheme. With lightsaber retracted and clipped, she forced the two infiltrators onto the tarmac. Forced on bent knee, their heads swayed in a surreal daze. Curious to what this Sith could be plotting, the imposing forces watched on bated breath. Ilphy preferred carnage over tact but like most she pondered the questions the lay in most sith. Could she bring out the evil in these men? Both were about to find out where morality and duty drew innocent blood. Drawing her lightsaber at a forty-five degree angle to first's neck she looked up at them.

"You were prepared to capture a couple smugglers. Seems things aren't always what they seem. I'm sure by now you realize just what sort of mess you've gotten yourselves into. Fortunately I'm feeling merciful today so I'll give you an offer. These two are badly hurt but they'll live if you do as I say. Drop your guns, leave here, and pretend like we got away. The choice is yours." The recently promoted commander kept his hand raised to prevent the men from taking action. Between the two sides was an immense silence that lasted longer than it should have. Mia ebbed her force into the air. Filling the space with malicious intent. She smiled knowing well what 'good men' tend to do. All to casually he responded "I don't see any captives, do you men?" In unison the group responded "No sir!" With that reply solidifying this man's resolve, he let his hand down to signal. Mia smiled, genuinely: the overwhelming sensation of joy to see these men fall. They may not realize it but they would have made excellent soldiers were they to have chosen a different path.

Their execution wasn't as ceremoniously steady as it should have been. The men showed remorse in their inability to outright obliterate them. They tried to aim around the two hostages. Mia scoffed at their mercy. Two faced in their statements. She used the inner turmoil of these green horns against them. Instead of killing the man in front of her, she used her strength to hold him up like a shield. She used the force to enhance her speed and charge forward.

Three men on the left flank: She threw the captive at the one in the middle jumped over the one on the left. She quickly bisected his midsection. from right to left. Taking control of his torso, she hid behind him and used the blaster to shoot wildly at the other two. They both rolled out of the way. While regaining their stance, she decapitated the corpse and kicked the head in their direction. The nearest one catching it in the chest. They were just a few feet apart. With a quick three steps, she closed the distance. Her lightsaber slashed straight from left to right. From center of mass to center off mass, the commandos slumped forward.

Asminys held himself back as his partner issued her threats, trying to bargain for a peaceful resolution. Personally, he was eager to fight, eager to show these ants the magnitude of their mistake in their brief time together. It seemed the men's commander held no mercy in his heart for the men under his command however, and at his order the soldiers opened fire, regardless of their comrades in harms way.

While Mia had the benefit of a hostage to block shots and cast uncertainty in the aim of the soldiers Asminys had no such shield. Not that he needed it. His blade rotated in tight orbits to block the first few blaster bolts as he advanced out of the ship, sending one bolt back into its sender's thigh while the rest went wide. As soon as he was clear of the ship he leaped over the heads of the soldiers, his blade sweeping between him and catching a well aimed shot as he arced over them to land behind their commander.

The man spun to face Asminys as his blade passed through his neck, bringing an end to his ill fated command. A swift force push sent the already thigh-shot man on his right flying towards Mia, leaving his fate up to her as Asminys rushed the men on his left, five remaining in all. A swift slash cleaved through the nearest man's chest, followed by a series of parries that sent blaster bolts flying away from their intended target.

Four men still stood and they beat a hasty retreat, backing away from the pair of Sith as they focused fire on them, trying to overwhelm their defenses and keep a safe distance away.
