That quote doesn't apply. Who is in the United States Senate affects the world.

They are calling Rubio for Florida, and Blumenthal for CT (The latter is not a surprise at all.)

The former isn't a surprise either.

Coons also beat O'Donnell in Delaware, thank God. Also no surprise.

Blumenthal wasn't a done deal. His opponent spent 40 million on her campaign.

Went Republican down the line, for the most part. Didn't vote for Mike DeWine, because he's a douche, voted for the other Republican. Skipped on some of the judges, because they're idiots, and even though they're the only ones running it made me feel good to say no.

Then I said give more money to the kids and less to the drug addicts.

All the amendments I voted for were for raising taxes.

I voted yes on the NJ Amendment, so what Corzine did in taking two billion dollars out of unemployment for other interest can never happen again.

That wasn't just Corzine. Whitman did that too - and she's the one who destroyed the pension system to begin with, and what Christie is dealing with now. It's a Republican cleaning up a bonehead Republican's mess.

But anyway, I voted yes on the ballot measure too. A lot of people voted yes because of their opinions on whether it's right to re-appropriate that money elsewhere. I voted based on which option would lead to higher taxes when the legislature inevitably destroys the budget again, which would've been the "No" option.

I didn't know that about Whitman, I only really started following NJ politics at the time of McSleezy.

So even better I voted yes. =D

I think Bac is happy to see Pelosi leaving as Speaker.
