Mythra feels that they are getting closer and closer towards the end. Now all parties involved are pulling out all the stops. People do want Ambria, resources are getting harder and harder to come by and Ambria has untapped potential for anyone who can unearth it.

The CEO kept her expression neutral as these talks have gone about as far as they can go. The CEO would look towards the Hutts and towards Vahl "Would the Sith accept a joint offer with the Cartel?" The twi'lek lady didn't figure so. but maybe, but it needed to be asked.

Mythra didn't comment on the other offers and statements at this stage yet. But she did answer the Consuls questions, looking at her she would then reply. "The circumstances were different before Ambria declared it's alligence to the Sith. I will simply say at the time, we had no commitment with the FWA, as you said, is our right, and the Sith did us a big favor and earned our support. With whatever deal we take, be it the FWA, the Sith's, the ISC's, .etc we we are making a commitment to honor the terms and arrangements made here, and enshrine it in an inviolable contract. As a businesswoman, I honor agreements. And our people honor our agreements as well. " she said with a neutral expression. Does it satisfy the Consul? Maybe, maybe not.

"Now then, we've been here for a long time. If there is anything else that needs to be said, let it be said."

If anyone else has anything to sweeten the deal, or any rebuttals to what was said, this is now the time to vocalize it. Truth be told, this will be quite a difficult decision. So many offers and terms to consider...

There had to be some hidden agenda behind the Sith Empire's bid for Ambria. One that went beyond the ore the miners extracted from the rock masses scattered across the planet. Ore could not be the chief inducement. An ulterior motive—that was the only explanation, at least in the princess' mind—for the Empire's fierce interest in Ambria and the hot-blooded demonstration the dark sider made for its trade. That or this was nothing more than a jab at the alliance they had waged war against for so many years before the consortium pushed them into hiding in the farthest recesses of the galaxy. Already the Sith Empire existed hundreds of thousands of parsecs away from the mining planet, and it did not make sense for them to try to overextend themselves while in the middle of a war against the ISC.

The Hutt also voiced his agreement with the Sith Master, that no party actively at war could ensure Ambria's safety. "I believe that our war with the New Republic will be short-lived," the half-Sephi spoke deliberately, shoulders pushed back and her gaze, alert as ever, settling on the CEO of Ambria's Mining Guild. Due to the ceasefire between the Sith Empire and the FWA, the alliance was currently only at war with the New Republic. "Chancellor Xerxes does not hold the confidence or the support of the rest of the New Republic worlds. His days as Chancellor are numbered. The alliance has already taken steps to put an end to this senseless war, and the fleet that bombed Tanaab and murdered its citizens has been located. Alliance fleets will not stop until it is destroyed. Of that I am confident."

Reyna might have been confident in the alliance's ability to protect Ambria, but that didn't mean that Mythra was. "Should you decline the Sith's proposition, Onderon will reopen trade with Onderon. Since the Sith invaded our world and damaged our capital, we are in need of the metals you offer now more than ever. I will personally enourage other alliance planets to do the same." The promise of credits would hopefully do something to sway Mythra's opinion.

"Onderon would be willing to invest in Ambria, to help you with development." Currently, the planet was nothing more than a collection of run-down mining villages and mines. "Onderon swears to protect Ambria, from pirates and tyrants alike. We will maintain a presence on your planet, so long as that is your wish. Ambria is surrounded by alliance worlds, none of which are friends to the Sith Empire or to the cartels." Man Cala, an alliance world at the time the syndicates had attacked it, had not been forgotten. Befriending the enemies of your surrounding neighbors was never a good idea. "I pray that Ambria does not make itself a friend of pirates and tyrants either, but the decision lies with you."

Perhaps Mythra had already made her decision and Reyna's words fell on deaf ears. Only time would tell. For her part, Reyna knew she had done everything she could to protect Ambria from the clutches of the Sith Empire. @The Good Doctor

Vahliri couldn’t help but sigh, listening as Reyna made a repeat of her previous statements. Though she had the courtesy not to interrupt the Princess, it was abundantly clear that her patience was growing perilously thin.

Obviously Reyna wasn’t familiar with how Galactic Trade and shipping lanes operated - considering she was under the assumption that using third party freighters and shipping corporations was, somehow, an oddity. It was how the vast majority of goods moved through the Galaxy, and would be no different here. Vahliri didn’t feel the need to correct Reyna again, but instead simply shot the CEO a look. As a businesswoman, Vahliri had no doubt the Twi’lek wouldn't give the comments much credence.

After a moment of pause, Vahliri finally leaned forward - amber eyes flicking between the CEO and Reyna. “It is clear to me,” She began, her voice measured and calm, “That Onderon isn’t actually interested in the welfare of your planet. By the Princess’ own admission, any trade deals with her planet are contingent upon capitulating to whatever demands they make. They do not value the policy of free trade, and instead would cut Ambria off from any business between itself and the Sith Empire."

“A government, I would remind you all, currently maintains a ceasefire with the Free Worlds Alliance.”

“I have no doubt that Princess Reyna will continue to apply this kind of pressure in the near future - forcing Ambria to perfectly align itself with the foreign policy of Onderon. Anything less will result in a blacklisting of Ambrian goods from Onderon or any other planet within the Free World’s Alliance within their bloc.”

“For all of her prattling about tyranny, I fail to see how Princess Reyna has done anything but threaten your planet with economic ruin, should you choose not to follow her every commandment. Is that the sort of business partner you would work with?”

"I am disappointed - albeit not entirely surprised - that Onderon refuses to ensure a neutral balance of power on Ambria. However, the Sith Empire is more than willing to work with the Hutt Cartels to do just that. We would have the combined presence on the ground to protect your facilities and workers, and investment to bolster production capacity on your planet. What cannot be offered in ships, would invest be offered as investment towards defense platforms or Planetary shield technology - which would help to deter any foreign aggression."

The ISC governor had no rebuttal for Vahl's accusations that they can't guarantee free trade, does that mean it's true? Mythra thought.

As everyone has said their peace, Mythra's expression didn't change as she listened to everything. After the last person has said their peace, Mythra would then clasp her hands. "Thank you everyone for your time today. Excuse me while I confer with the planet council." smiled as she would leave the diplomats.

Some time later

Mythra has emerged into the chambers again. "We are humbled that you are all for this little spec in the galaxy. Thank you all again for being here today, we, the people of Ambria have made a decision." Mythra would clear her throat

"Diplomat Vahl, Great Nor'baal. We will become neutral and accept your protection. We look forward to doing business in the coming days with the Empire and the Cartel." With anyone faction, they all had some good things going for them, it's a hard decision. But Ambria gets to become neutral, so it's safe from the ISC/Empire war. Plus if the Empire loses the war, it has solid protection from the Cartel to protect it's trade, and not to mention this deal will let her get closer to the Cartel and their many 'gifts'. Plus it was the Sith indeed who did help Ambria awhile ago with a problem when no one else did. In this current political climate in the galaxy, everything is clouded and chaotic.

To the others she would say "I'm so sorry you all come all this way. You all did well, it was a hard decision." she would say to be polite and lighten the blow. "We are still open to trade with you all. We will look forward when you are ready for transactions with us." she said. Maybe they will 'protest' or 'boycott' Ambria, or they will realize their resources are good and they are offering to trade and should take them out.

Mythra would clap her hands twice "Good day everyone" and the meeting was adjurned. Mythra would look to the her planet in the transpisteel ceiling in the space station. This underinhabited mining world that hardly anyone wants to live, they will be able to invest in. More colonists will flock over to here, they will be able to get more resources, they will have more to trade, and more profit.

Mythra would then leave the chambers with a smile on her face.
