DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Dark spots and ring-shaped patterns along her face and back, and the tip of her tail, creamy colouration along her front, belly, and muzzle. Short patch of wiry fur at the top of her head.

STRENGTH: Good – Like any Kushari, Alya's quite strong by human standards, with twice the muscle density. A life of growing up in a rural town, getting into scraps with other kits, along with training from her father, has ensured the young Kushari is in excellent shape.
DEXTERITY: Great – Alya is a very nimble and agile young Kushari, having spent many hours swimming in the nearby river, climbing trees and mountains, as well as training with her father.
CONSTITUTION: Good – A result of her being Kushari, combined with a good, traditional, Kushari upbringing, has resulted in Alya being a fit and healthy young woman, with good stamina and endurance, and an impressive immune system, and having rarely ever fallen sick.

PERSONALITY:
As a teenager, whom has had large parts of her life dictated by her father and outsiders has left Alya with a rebellious, stubborn, and anti-authoritarian streak a parsec long, and will at times cause her to act rashly, especially towards her father. Despite this, however, Alya dearly loves her family, and would never willingly do anything to hurt them.
Alya is a very open-minded young girl with few inhibitions, and usually does what she wants, when she wants it. And while always up for a good time and new experiences, she is not some common gutter slag, and possesses high standards and expectations. Possessing an equally curious and mischievous mind, Alya adores a good prank whenever she feels it's appropriate, and her favourite target usually tends to be her father.
The stubborn, rebellious, and anti-authoritarian streak, combined with her lack of inhibition, is probably what draws Alya to the life of an 'independent entrepreneur' and plying the star-lanes in a quest for personal freedom and adventure.
BIOGRAPHY:
Alya Aldatan. Daughter of Delun and Elena Aldatan. Sister of Ramald. Her first few years were nothing remarkable, and indeed, followed the pattern of many young Kushari. Three years growing up in the remote town of Welais on Kushaa'vo, before spending another three aboard a navy cruiser, as her father was reassigned, and the family moved with him. As stated, nothing special about that. What happened when she was six, however, was anything but the norm.
The ship to which the Aldatan family had been assigned, and Delun commanded, was the testbed for the first fully functional Kushari-designed FTL drive. The ship came under attack by pirates, whom overwhelmed the ship's defenders and took the crew, every man, woman, and child capture for sale on the slave market. Alya and her family included.
This is where the story takes an odd twist. Alya and her family were sold to an extremist Humanocentric corporation, in the spirit of Palpatine's regime, named Line ARC, where Alya, Elena, and Ramald were put into cryo-stasis for over fifty years. But as a result of the cryo-stasis, none of the Aldatan family aged during their lenghty sleep, and Line ARC performed various experiments on the Kushari.
Eventually Alya was revived from her chilly sleep, to be used as a bargaining chip against her father, whom had escaped at some point prior to Alya's revival. Needless to say, Line ARC's ploy failed, and Alya was rescued by her father, and his friend, the Jedi Ebberla Daw. Soon, the rest of the Aldatan family was rescued, and the family returned home to Kushaa'vo.
Upon Kushaa'vo, it became obvious that Alya had witnessed more than a young girl at her age ought. As such, Alya's mother Elena, a skilled Force Sensetive, began to carefully remove the horrific memories of Alya's capture at Line ARC's facilities and the rescue, allowing Alya to have as normal a childhood as possible.
The following ten years proved fairly unremarkable, and Alya grew up in the town of Welais with her family and other Kushari, and helping her father at Alda Industries as she grew older.
