Both Ruelle's and the Jedi's lightsabers sprang to life at the exact same time, as if it was planned. Her's glowed a bright red. His bright blue. They hissed loudly against the ruthless rain that threatened to soak them both to the bone. Lightening split the sky into a thousand jagged shapes. Thunder rolled. As the Jedi raised his head to meet her gaze, Reulle could make out some of his features even in the darkness of the night. He was young, but still older than her, so it was possible she had a fair chance against him.
Neither of them spoke before the battle started; Siris had taught her not to let a Jedi chat and stall to build power. But the Jedi still came at her faster than she expected. She didn't even have time to switch to an offensive posture. Their weapons collided against each other, hissing loudly against the downpour's interference.
Ruelle put all of her focus, all of her force into the speed and strength of her movements. Like before her confidence grew and she smiled wolfishly at the surprise on his face. The Force swirled around her... hungry... begging her to lose herself in it's power.
But suddenly he reached out with his free hand, and the length of a metal poll ripped off a nearby sidewalk like once before. This Jedi must've been trained by the one Siris killed. However this time Ruelle was ready for random flying objects, dodging back and away from the Jedi so at first it didn't collide with her. But the Jedi didn't dispose of the item he had picked up right away, instead using it like a weapon. It came back at her, and she cut it in half so it'd fly harmlessly by her.
Not wanting to let him continue to fling things at her she allowed her annoyance and anger at how she had failed to kill this Jedi's friend fuel her. Tiny sparks leaped from her free hands fingers, and she sent one flying towards the Jedi to make him focus on it before she charged forward to take him head on again. @Nefieslab
