Brief character background: Orphaned on Nar Shaddaa, Venator grew up as a pick pocket, mugger and, eventually, bounty hunter. He left Nar Shaddaa desperate for revenge at the Galactic Republic, who he believed had abandoned his world. He chose to try and join the Alsakan Union, as he also had been wronged by the Republic and wanted revenge, as well as being hungry for military experience, and ready to work his way up.

Lieutenant is the next highest rank above Sergeant and below Captain. Lieutenants are the Executive Officers of Company-Sized Units. While aboard Republic Navy Vessels, Lieutenants serve as Deck Officers, still outranking all other ranks below them. One must serve as a Lieutenant for at least two months or show considerable merit in order to advance to the rank of Captain.

During a training exercise however an accident occured that brought upon the death of one of his close friends. In his friends memory he has continued on to be a part of the military.

Brief Character Background: Jyrden grew up under a strict family and was taught a strong work ethic at a young age. Angered by his parent's rough disciplinary measures, he left to join the Alsakan military as soon as he was old enough. He scored very high on the entrance exams and he demonstrated an ability to learn quickly and efficiently. He was sent to advanced classes in order to make use of his skills. It didn't take him long to realize his new training was for intelligence work, including various covert operations. On completion of his training, he was assigned to a division for various stealth missions and black operations.
