DESERTED TEMPLE
It had been several weeks since the twins arrived on Korriban in search to forge their own legacies in the galaxy. Childhood had been interesting, spoiled with lavish treats and the privilege of wealth, they didn't really understand the value of struggle until they ventured on their own. The dark side teachings began since their infancy, though it had often times become a point of content as the girls wished to simply be girls.

However, the galaxy was not a suitable place for innocence, and no matter how noble it could be, it had to end. Alexandra was unsure of where Alexis was this evening, though it didn't matter. She knew that the two would divert in their paths at some point, though she did hope her sister would join her for some things before they traveled off this planet. Still in possession of a gifted blue lightsaber, she sought to bleed the bled into a weapon of crimson glory. For such an act however, she desired more power, and a physical conduit to the dark side.

And so she arrived in the midst of darkness, wee hours of the night, leaping off her speeder as cloaks dragged through the sandy terrain. Delicate fingers sprawled over a stone wall, as she plucked a drop of blood from her palm and let it seep into the archaic writings inscribed on the rock. The platform slowly tumbled, dust exhausting from the ground below her as the young sorceress menaced an evil grin. A door slowly cast open, revealing what appeared as a tunnel and flight of stairs to carry her into the depths of the abyss. Oil dripped from the wooden canvas, as she struck a match and lit the torch to provide guidance.

She was garbed in her ebony cloaks, red locks of hair could be seen from the edges of the hood, almost as if they were attempting to crawl out and reveal themselves. Green eyes scanned the area, eager to venture inside but also patiently awaiting her companion. It would be the first time they worked together, another disciple like herself.

In either case, this would prove to be interesting..

Jenova wasn't quite sure what to make of the hostile planet; even before stepping on its soil, Korriban spoke to her. It was quite a profound experience, something which green skinned hybrid had never enjoyed before. This must be it: the dark side. Something which she admittedly knew little about. Still, despite her novice status, the darkness festering within this desert welcomed her. With each even step, it moved to enrapture her, invite her further with sweet lover like strokes. Each passing gust of wind was a new breath entering her own lungs. Though the march through the desert was short, it was empowering. Upon reading the temple, Jenova felt baptised, kissed with the blessings of ancient Sith long since passed.

Their hushed whispers echoed encouragement, especially as she mad her approach to the temple. Whilst most admired the structure's impressive architecture upon sight, Jenova did not. Instead of looking at the temple, she looked through it.

The hybrid was 'blind', that much was clear from the absence of pupils in her eyes. And yet, Jenova could see perfectly fine -to a certain extent-. Despite her lack of formalised training, the Miraluka descendant had grown up instinctively relying on the force to guide her. Though she could not perceive colour, she could perceive auras. And Jenova wasn't quite sure what to make of her companion's aura; admittedly, it was intriguing. But there was more to than that. For the moment she said nothing and instead looked on towards the temple, curious to see what secrets it would surrender.

"There's something in there..."

What it was exactly, Jenova couldn't tell. Though the force was strong here, it was also devious and coy. The temple's content was veiled with dark energy, the likes of which Jenova could not wholly pierce. Whatever they faced, it would be a surprise to them both.

A smile began to tug at the hybrid's dark lips. She liked surprises.

A smile appeared on Alexandra's face as her companion arrived at the temple entrance. She was a bit disappointed however as instead of a traditional greeting, the Miraluka simply walked past her and into the entrance of the tomb. "Lovely to see you as well my dear.." She stated, voice soothing to ears around, complimenting the rosy cheeks and elegant flesh that the crimson haired beauty was so proudly displaying. She stepped to the side of the blind one, handing her a dark colored cloak. Perhaps it was the first one that the girl would have, perhaps not. Despite not being able to see its quality, the cloth felt soft but also nice and thick, as if it was woven from expensive fabrics.

"I had it made for you, you can't be a true Sith without our classic ebony cloaks." Delicate fingers bristled in Jenova's hair to braid it behind her ears so that it wouldn't come in the way of wearing the hood if she chose to try her new garment out. A little snicker as the young sorceress now proceeded into the Temple, holding the illuminating stick of flame to guide their movements. The stench of rotting flesh was growing in intensity as they descended into the lair, low grumbling wails of dangers to come were also steadily approaching closer.

The Falleen/Miraluka hybrid wasn't well known for her social skills; small talk and conversations were still an area requiring improvement. So, when the humanoid beauty offered Jenova a gift, the hybrid was somewhat stunned, unsure how to respond at first. She simply ran her hands over the material, as if trying to commit the texture to memory. Indeed, its softness was quite pleasant.

Not quite sure what to say, she simply nodded. "Gratitude." It was the closest way Noghri warriors expressed their thanks. Jenova had adopted it, translating the phrase into equalivant basic.

Adorning the cloak, Jenova followed the sorceress' lead. The red haired female seemed oddly excited with the prospects of the temple's content, even when the stench of dead was overwhelmingly apparent. In nature, an animals' natural response was to turn tail and turn. But they weren't animals. They were Sith. Their way was to walk amongst the dead without fear and without hesitation. And that was exactly what Jenova's companion did. The hybrid somewhat admired that, the lack of reservation or trepidation. Despite being smiles and pleasantries, this female was not to be underestimated Then again, neither for Jenova.

Passing at the sound of wails, Jenova waited and listened. It was a beast of some kind, it had to be. No humanoid could make such a monstrous noise. They hadn't just walked into a temple; they had walked into a den.

The smile soon returned upon Alex's face as the Noghri made her best attempt at expressing gratitude. The crimson haired one didn't have many friends, largely she had relied on her sister for companionship. One would think that privilege societal types would have many associates, but in fact the twins had lived a lonely life at least on the inside. Carrying the torch in hand, her excitement grew as the neared the epicenter of what seemed to be growls and the stench of rotten flesh. Coming to the end of the descending staircase, she navigated through broken grounds and spider webs littering the walls.

Soon enough, they came upon into an open lobby region, several dead corpses laying on the floor in front of them. The humanoids had been partially devoured as only remnants of coagulated blood and flesh remained while several bones had also been missing. Smile widening even farther, pearly white teeth almost visible in this lack of light. "We're getting close, love"

Jenova followed the sorceress closely, unwilling to become disorientated, and thereby lost, in the maze like catacombs of the temple. Especially as it seemed there were dangerous beasties trolling around darkened corners. The smell of decay was becoming more pungent. The green skinned hybrid couldn't help but wonder, who had previously found themselves afoul of this temple? Just an unfortunate animal? Or maybe, more gruesomely, a foolish voyager?

"Closer to what exactly?" Anticipation was slowly building with the hybrid, as was her apprehension. She had heard terrible tales about Korriban and its temples. These were sites of dark rituals, now serving as tombs for ancient Sith and their disembodied spirits. Jenova was still undecided in her exploration of the dark side. She had seen its pure brute strength. Its manipulation of the mind. And, indeed, even the strange way of sorcery. Yet the warrior had yet to find her own chokehold on such power. She had hoped this adventure would grant her some insight, some direction.

But, excitingly enough, it seemed some conflict would transpire prior to that discovery. A more than acceptable prospect. She was on a mission and nothing, not even a spawn of darkness, would stop her.

"This temple..." She began, garnering for Alex's attention, "What exactly will we find here?"

A wicked smile crept escalating on her beautiful face, growing more joyful as the deeper the duo descended into the catacombs beneath Korriban. The remains of fallen still echoed through the walls, coating the spiderwebs and unwelcoming tiles into a corrupted stench capable of wilting away the flesh of those uninitiated.

But they were initiated, weren't they? Dark sisters who soaked in the essence of the unholy as it augmented their abilities and gave them focus. "This temple is why we are here my love. Come, save your energy for the task at hand.." Delicate fingers grabbed a hold of the blind Noghri's hand as she guided the green sister deeper into the abyss. Tortured wails of beasts could be heard followed by the sudden onslaught of stampeding hooves that grew larger with the second. It was apparent something evil and sinister was tumbling in their direction. Blue lightsaber erupted into Alex's right hand while she gathered the force powers in her free left hand, tendrils of the darkside encapsulating her fingers as it continued to grow outward and anointing them as those who belonged.

"Be prepared to attack my darling, straight ahead.."

Jenova allowed the guidance, feeling that she needed it given the thick ambiance of the temple's air. Her sight felt oddly clouded, distorted by something unseen. She had never experienced this kind of interference before. The hybrid couldn't even begin to fathom what was causing it, whether it was the temple's emersion in the dark side or if it was the encroaching terror that advanced on their location.

When Alex readied herself, so did Jenova. Yet the green skinned lady drew no weapon. She carried no blade, no saber. Instead, the amazon gathered the force within her grasp, intent on using it like an explosive build up energy. The warrior woman was growing notorious famous for such methods, the unorthodox style catching many of her opponents off guard. Still, without knowing what they were about to face, Jenova was uneasy. She had to know more.

"And just what is about to attack us?"

Alexandra brought her saber into a defensive position, wrapping the force around her figure as she could sense the arrival of the beasts. "Terentatek...large beasts that will indulge onto your flesh." She smiled, running an affectionate hand across Jenova's cheek, "Especially beautiful flesh.." She smirked, turning away and moving a few paces a head of her companion. Suddenly, the thundering hooves of the monsters before them could be heard, echoing through the depths of the forgotten temple. The ground underneath them rattled, as one such creature came directly for the green skinned one. Alexandra reached out with the force, using dark sided tendrils and wrap around its torso and hold it in place. "Quickly! Slay the beast now!" She yelled, preparing to launch a saber strike by herself if Jenova could not deal the killing blow.

"Terentatek?" Jenova had never heard of such creatures before, but from Alex's description, they weren't beasts one trifled with lightly. The witch was surely crazy. She seemed unfazed by the danger and it wasn't a act either' through the force, Jenova could see the elation in Alex's aura. She seemed generally happy to encounter this beast, delighted even at the prospect of battling such a fearsome foe.

Her excitement was infectious. Despite the danger, even Jenova found herself to be grinning.

But the hybrid had no immediate weapon; she had yet to claim a saber, not any other blade. But she was strong in the force, strong enough that she was able to do devastating damage. With Alex holding the creature in place, Jenova herself reached out. There were several stand alone pillars and columns, some broken with age. Their destruction would not hinder the structural integrity of the ruins, but they would certainly crush the fearsome beast.

With a wrenching of her fists, the stone monuments and pillars shattered and fell, tumbling down onto the beast like a literal ton of bricks. If it didn't kill the creature it would certain wound it, breaking appendages and shattering some bone. The amazon briefly shielded her eyes at the forthcoming wave of dust and dirt. She coughed for a moment, waving away the suffocating mist of debris.

"Is it dead?"
