HAIR: White, shoulder length
SKIN: Pale, common to species
CREDITS: 1,000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: Cybernetics

  • Force Push
  • Force Pull
  • Force Speed
  • Force Sense
  • Force Jump
Telepathy (2/10)
Force Grip (3/10)

SKILLS:
No remorse for the taking of life makes her an asset in the business of war. She is an expert in cybernetics, and computers as a whole. Her own cybernetics allow her for great feats of strength and speed, even without the Force, but her endurance is lacking.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Form II: Makashi (5/10)

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Her cybernetics give her great bonuses to her strength and dexterity, but nothing can be done about her species physical limitations. Being Ayuutani, she is unable to feel complex emotions, and as such has been able to draw upon both sides of the Force (Heart) without distinguishing the two. These are both double-edged swords, as without her cybernetics, she will most likely die a painful death, and without the ability to feel remorse, she often struggles with the concepts placed upon her by the Jedi.

Her cybernetics are fitted with energy sinks, to help filter out electrical shock that is meant to bring her harm, though this does not give her invulnerability. Merely, it gives her a slight resistance. Her species is also easily hurt, due to increased electrical work within their bodies, making a simple punch feel like a shotgun blast. This lends itself to a high pain threshold.

GEAR:
  • Double-bladed lightsaber, purple in blade color.
  • White and black bodysuit that fits to her body, leaving her legs and arms bare due to the cybernetics. It does, however, cover what skin would be seen without it, and has little functionality beyond modesty.

Rebreather and body suit

CYBERNETICS:
  • Typical spinal reinforcement, common among her species.
  • Cybernetic left eye, made to resemble a natural one. Grants Night Vision and Inferred.
  • Lung implant and rebreather. Rebreather is extensive, covering the lower half of her face to help with oxygen intake. The rebreather has a built in speaker to allow for speech, and can separate to rest on both cheeks and below her chin when she wishes it to do so.
  • She is fitted with a cybernetic skeleton, which not only adds itself to her physical might, but assists in reinforcing her fragile body, allowing her to deal with combat for longer periods than naturally able. The skeleton is both internal and external, revealing itself along her arms, legs and torso. Along her torso, it appears more like a body tattoo that runs along her center and runs along her collarbones and the lowest row of ribs. On her arms and legs, they stand out, appearing more like armor that forms to and covers her limbs, with the exception of the hands. At the hands, the armor is not as covering, revealing her palms and running along the back of her fingers to end in sharp, black claws.
  • Her body has been fitted with energy sinks to help divert harmful electrical attacks, in an effort to protect her life-sustaining cybernetics. This does not grant her invincibility, merely a way to deal with short bursts, as sustained electrical attacks are still life threatening.
  • Small, mounted blaster on the left forearm. Usually used for sneak attacks when chained with physical attacks, but can be used alone, though rarely. The blaster is not thermal, it's an electrical attack, made to short out electronics, or at least attempt to. Uses are from anything to blasters, datapads, to even lightsabers. This can sometimes paralyze opponents, though for no more than a second as it's not lethal to organics.

SHIP:
A small, four person craft able to be piloted with only one. It is used to get to planet to planet, and little else. There are no barracks or bedrooms, as passengers will have to sleep in their seats. There is, however, a small cargo hold that can carry supplies if needed.

DROIDS:
None

PETS:
None

PERSONALITY:
Describing the personality of an Ayuutani is like asking a bantha what it's like to fly. She is hard-working, studious, and honor bound to the Jedi for saving her. Unable to feel complex emotions, she does not understand much the Jedi attempt to teach her, but she tries. Often, she is confused as to why many of her fellow Padawan look at her in disdain or mild fear, though this is due to her cybernetics and her grasp of Force Lightning. Distrustful to aliens (those who are not Ayuutani), she is hard to get close to, appearing cold and heartless to nearly everyone she meets, though there are some in the Order who tell her that if she succeeds in becoming a Jedi, that there is hope for more like her. She does not understand this, but merely nods and continues on her training.

Alkestis does not approve of laziness and does not understand sarcasm, leading to many one-sidedly awkward situations. When someone asks her what she does feel, she will respond with confusion, or perhaps anger, as these are the more easily felt emotions of her species. She has only felt happiness when she was with her Kesediji, and sorrow upon his death. Alkestis has never felt what others would define as love, only attachment, and the loss of that attachment drove her to the Jedi, as she blames the Sith for the loss of her Kesediji, and does not wish to assist the Imperium that killed the one she cared most for.

BIOGRAPHY:
Alkestis was raised among her kind within the Warrior Caste. She was given extensive cybernetics to assist in her role, and filled it out to the letter. This time in her life did not last, however, as she was taken under the wing of a Sith Crusader. The Crusader, a very ambitious and jealous Miraluka male, taught her for a long time in the ways of the Sith. His base on her home planet of Ruusan became her new home when she was with him, however, she did return to her village often to fulfill her role in the Warrior Caste. She never learned to trust her master, but many saw his tutelage as beneficial to the girl, as she had often been viewed as one of the more efficient warriors.

Over time, she developed attachment to a single male of her species. He was a member of the Warrior Caste, like her, and so they spent much of their time together. After years of this, it soon became apparent he was her Kesediji. Never a moment went by she did not think of him, long to stand beside him, or please him in any way possible. He gave her happiness, and it had been perfect until her master caught wind of this attachment. Jealous as he was, he had long pined for the Ayuutani's affection, frustrated with her lack of emotions and obvious disenchantment with him.

The Kesediji was brought to the Crusader, while Alkestis had been away on a rather lengthy mission. The Kesediji was tortured, and Alkestis felt it too late. By the time she arrived, he had been captive for an entire day. Her master had attempted to shoot her ship down as she neared the base, which sat just outside her village...

The turrets opened fired on her ship, despite the security codes she sent that usually granted her access. The ship was hit, and she went down, crashing into the mountains in between the base and the village. She had quickly opened the loading ramp and jumped out, using both the Force and her cybernetics to aid in her physical abilities. She landed in a large snow bank, relatively unscathed though still hurt. Her ship exploded on impact and she felt the blast just after landing in the icy cushion. Standing, bruised and bleeding from a few cuts, she stared up at the base that sat atop the mountain that rested across the gorge that separated her from it.

She quickly retreated to the village and broke into the barracks she had often used during her time as a Warrior. In there was a large, truly oversized, plasma cannon that fit around her right arm, despite being the same size as her. Walking into the streets with it, she lifted the heavy cannon and aimed at the base. Before anyone could talk her out of it, she fired. The shot sent her skidding back a few inches from the sheer power of the cannon, and the plasma blast soar to it's target. This cannon was originally an anti-air cannon, but she wasn't using it to bring an aircraft down...

She was using it to blast a huge hole in the front door.

The plasma smashed into the shielded blast doors, breaking the shields and burning through the metal at thousands of degrees. The shockwave made the base shake, the ground tremble, but she paid little mind. Discarding the cannon in the middle of the street, she hijacked a nearby speeder bike and raced onward and up the mountain. By the time she reached it, the hole was already guarded by Imperial troops under the Crusader's command, with the Sith still inside. They open fired, but she merely dismounted and led the speeder fly into the crowd. Many jumped out of the way, but some didn't, and so were hit straight on with a speeder bike going full speed, snapping their spines. She stood and let her anger, a new emotion she had only rare dealing with in the past, fuel her as she ignited the one thing of the Sith she kept on her person: her lightsaber.

Using her cybernetics to aid her physically, she was both fast and strong enough to close the gap between her and the Imperials in record time, as well as take care of them between her swordsmanship and use of Force Lightning. It had been this natural gift in the Force among her species that made the Crusader seek one out as an apprentice, anyway, so she saw no reason to show him what she had learned. Fighting through the base had been easy, she knew it inside and out after years of coming here.

She had found her Kesediji and master together, in the main observatory atop the base. This place had been where he had taught her through sparring matches, and so, thought this would be the best place to end it. Her Kesediji was unconscious, but alive, and at the feet of the Crusader who stood, lightsaber ignited, within the darkened room. The lights had been shut off, in an attempt to make it easier for him as his species used the Force to see, rather than eyesight. Not only that, but her species was famous for it's lack of night vision.

Closing her right eye, Alkestis relied on the Night Vision implant within her cybernetic left eye to grant her vision. Lightsabers ignited, both being fueled with rage and, in the case of the Miraluka, jealousy. Her purple, double-bladed lightsaber versus his single red blade- their light was the only thing in the room that gave away their positions. The light almost made her deactivate her Night Vision, but she persevered. The battle commenced, both users of the Makashi form of lightsaber combat.

The difference, however, was that she was the student, and he the master.

He was quickly able to cut through her defenses, as he was also a skilled practioner of Djem So. He forced himself through her ripostes, bombarded her relentlessly, and quickly turned to counter when she went on the offensive. Soon, she found herself without her saber, the blade being flung to the side, deactivated. She attempted to counter with Force Lightning, but he blocked it, with his lightsaber, advanced, and flung the energy back at her. Sent backwards by her own power, she was helpless as the cybernetics in her body struggled to defuse the energy that threatened to overload them.

The Crusader advanced, but was stopped when something grabbed his ankle. Looking down, the light of the weapon in his hand revealed the Kerediji. He was barely conscious, and looked angry. Before anything could be said, before Alkestis could do anything to stop it, the Crusader lifted his blade and plunged it into the heart of the Ayuutani who would not release his grip on the Miraluka's leg. The loss of her Kerediji was felt through all the Ayuutani on Ruusan, and through her strength in the Heart, her sorrow- felt by her people- gave her the power to focus the remaining energy in her body into another surge of Force Lightning.

The Miraluka barely had time to block it, but she stood, and pressed forward. He stood his ground, doing his best to stave off the growing intensity of the lightning, but once she was close enough, he attempted to fling the power back at her once again, only for the surge to explode in power brought on through her rage, and effectively disarming him mid-swing. She charged, unarmed, and decked him with all the might her cybernetics gifted to her. The blow sent him staggering, but she would not relent. She kicked his knee in, and he fell to the ground. The Warrior stomped on his back, severing his spin in a way to paralyze him from the waist down.

Finally, she straddled him, and gripped him by the hair. He could only whimper before she began to beat his head into the metal floor, again and again, until she was gripping little more than pulp.

Standing up, she used the Heart to call her lightsaber back to her, and with what little strength she had in her body, she carried her Kerediji back to the village, only to collapse in the center.

A full year passed before she decided to leave Ruusan for good. The loss of her Kerediji had sent her into a lost trance for a long time, until clarity returned after a decision was made in her mind. Without a word or goodbye, she left her planet and Sith space, going instead to the Outer Rim in free space, in search of the Jedi. The loss of her attachment left a hole inside which would not be sated, but she knew that serving the ones who would end the reign of those like the Crusader would help ease that emptiness.

Anyway, switched up the bio, let me know what you all think of her- and yes, yes that chick does have big eyes...
