Alexa was born into a family of Jedi. Her brother, James, was four at the time his baby sister was born. After she was born, James started to realize that more and more attention started going to his sister more than his training. He started begging for the littlest of attention even if it meant for him to get yelled at. The thing he never understood was that Alexandria had to be attended to more than anything else. He hadn't taken it into consideration until their father took him out for Jedi training and explained it the simplest he could to him on their way to the training spot. There were obviously questions and to their father it qualified as too many questions.

At the time Alexa had reached the age of five, men had invaded the family's home, killing off James and Alexa's parents. Their parents had returned four days before the incident from a meeting with the Order. Their parents had given the kids a few choices of what they wanted to do to celebrate the return of their parents. Alexa and James had decided that they wanted their parents to stay there and celebrate at home by relaxing and living life together. On the fourth day, a band of men had invaded their home and their parents fought with everything they had. Little would James and Alexa know, their parents were then murdered right in front of them. In an act of anger, James hid his sister and started going after the men who murdered is parents. One of the men had started going after Alexa's position and in one swift move, he was impaled through the heart being the last man to fall.
After the battle, James took Alexa to the planet, Correllia. Once he got there, James too Alexa to a very quiet part of his transport ship and looked her in the eyes, wiping her memory of the past. He then dropped her off at a flight academy, leaving his sister behind. Still remembering her brother at least, she was scared and begged and begged for him to not leave her. As much as it hurt to let his sister go, he thought it was the right thing and protect her from the past. Litte did he know, the anger he released on the day of their parents' deaths, had changed him and his perspective of the Force and he started searching for more and more knowledge from anywhere he could to become the greatest and strongest. After a few long years of looking for masters and trainers, a dark force wielder by the name of Andor who took the then 14 year old padawan in as his own apprentice, teaching him the ways of the Dark side.

Alexa on the other hand, was "raised" by a young man by the name of Elix Folstock who also taught Alexa how to fly and use the force. At the time Alexa reached the age of 13, she was tall and skinny and Elix started taking her out for runs, racing each other in starhunters and had her use the force for different occasions during the flight. Elix had won the first three times they had gone on runs, but by the fourth time, Alexa had learned his tricks and outsmarted him on their fourth race. For every race that they had, one by one more and more people from the Academy started watching the two race each other which then caught the attention of Vakim Adrien who wasn't on the greatest level with the energetic Alexa. Once the two had finished their fourth race, Elix was immediately met by Vakim who praised him for beating his apprentice in the race. Alexa of course ignored it, because it was the same old story every time. Elix gets the praise, she gets the shame and work. That day Vakim's mind was changed when Elix turned and pulled Alex over to him, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Actually sir, Alexa was the one who beat me in the race." Vakim's eyes were filled with shock as Alexa knew exactly where this was going. "Alexa? B-but that's impossible! She's just a girl!" he stated in such a way that made her speak up. "Yeah, I'm a girl. What does that matter other than the fact that you've been fighting against me the entire time I've lived here and you barely EVER give me a chance at anything." everyone was left speechless after that and she nodded before heading off to her room.
About an hour later, a knock was heard on her door and in came Elix who took her hands and sat in front of her, before then telling her that Vakim had decided to make her a real pilot. The news completely lit her up and then later on the next day, there was a little ceremony where everyone showed up in support of her and made her a pilot and later on had a Jedi trial receiving two kyber crystals, one blue and the other which was rare, a purple crystal.
Years later, when she turned 20, Alexa was told that she had a brother somewhere in the galaxy. Elix had told her this, but he didn't want to reveal everything to her all at once because he knew it would be over whelming. So knowing that, a ship was gifted to her before she left and she named it The Resistance. After receiving the ship, she gave a special farewell to Elix and Vakim before she was then off. Once she arrived on a world, she sensed another force sensitive nearby and later met him after a sithly woman attempted to capture the young Alexa, by stabbing a needle in her neck, forcing her to pass out. Luckily the man she had sensed on the Coruscant had come to help Alexa. Once he helped her, they started a mission with each other to find his brother. He had introduced himself to Alexa as Owen Astha and a relationship began to build between them. As they were on their way to their next planet, an old "friend" of Alexa's stopped them and tried to kiss Alexa. Being able to use the force in combat moves, she punched him backwards about ten feet. After that, a little war broke out between them and one of the guy's friends broke Alexa's leg. With that, Owen and Alexa mindtricked them to leave their armor and go to Coruscant where a woman would be waiting for them to fulfill their wishes. After they left, Owen helped Alexa onto her ship and they headed for Sith Spce where part of the Accord resided to heal her leg.
