Alchemy: Botany Style

1. What is going to happen in your plot? My Character, Xhexania, is going to learn about Alchemy (Botany). Since there are various styles of Alchemy, she will bring this to the attention of the Sith. Sithspawns and Sith swords are good, but plants that are mean....priceless.

2. What other players will be a part of this? None, only because I don't really associate with anyone. So I'll be DMing and writing my character myself. Plus as a true Botanist, I don't want to bore and scare off another writer with boring plant talk.

3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place? Dathomir and Felucia

4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen. The plot will be two threads, one on Dathomir and one on Felucia. On Dathmoir, where it all begins, she will meet an exiled Red skin Sith that aids and teaches her.

5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"? To learn and create a new Alchemy division. If for any reason, for her to learn something and possess knowledge without sharing with other Sith.

6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose. No.

Hey there, @Swamp Witch.

Several issues here, aside from the rather lackluster details, I will begin by saying that this TL, you can't "solo" threads. That's reserved for the Chronicles sub-forum. However, a third-party DM and you is allowed, or better yet, you and another member.

Also, please clarify. Are you trying to make an alchemy division in the Sith faction? Because that would require 5+ members and approval by Sith leadership. Or are you just trying to create a new division in Alchemy, in particular Botany? Then that would require a lore write-up for approval by @Malon.

Either way, you pose an excellent idea. My character, @Leviticus, is High Arcanist and has been doing multiple plots surrounding sorcery, Dathomir and whatnot. If you can't find anyone or a third-party DM, I'm willing to offer my assistance.

My first choice was to do a Lore write-up but another member I spoke with informed me that my idea would require a Plot. I'm more than happy and satisfied with doing the Lore route. And I would truly enjoy working with your character, since my character is going that route herself. Thank you for the feedback.

Question: For the Lore, it states following the template but there is no template in the section to use. Can I use any template here for the submission?

Well, to clarify, you'll have to do both. A lore article for more clear information and approval, then a plot to claim it for your own.

As for a template on the lore write-up, it would just have to cover the basics. Take inspiration or a template from another approved submission similar to the alchemy/botany ability you plan to uncover, like here or there or (especially) this.

Given @Malon is the one who handles lore submissions, you are always welcome to ask him for further details.
