Akima had dreams, dreams of one day being the head entertainer at Norbaa the Hutt’s palace, and being able to share her music with the galaxy. That of course, was the dream. A young Fiani on the streets of Nal Hutta, her family lived in the swamps of the world and from the Bayou, she learned to play well into the night. The Akima family lived off whatever they could grow, and whatever they could catch. A simple life, for a simple girl. Least, that was the hope. Late into night, Akima would sit on the rickety dock outside her home, and just…listen to the bayou speak back to her. Many a song was written, though never on a datapads. Akima had a gift for music, and while her family encouraged her to continue with it, they knew the reality was, she would never leave this planet. A sinkhole threatened the family property one day, the day that signaled the largest change the Fiani girl would come to know. Akima’s family, it turned out, had built their home over a deposits of gems, and given the politics of Nal Hutta, they were quickly forced out to live in the slums.

The new life style would see the death of her family. Illness took her mother, factory accident took her father, and slavers her brother and sister. A young Akima was left alone, destitute, impoverished, and embittered. This deep seated anger, only grew, festering within her, and her music. It didn’t take long before an off worldly took to her, offering her chance to use her gifts, and achieve her potential. At the time, Akima believed he spoke of her music. She soon learned his true intentions, once they were off world.

Akima is…unique. Her words have a. Unique twang to them. She comes off as standoffish and cold. She dresses in a rather unusual manner, tending to look more like a performer than a Sith in her attire. She rather enjoys the outdoors, and is far more at home in the wilderness than in an urban environment. She favors wearing animal masks when she is required to don robes. She uses song writing and composition as a form of meditation, but aside from that, she does not favor philosophy.
