Name: Ahrim Ehrish Vanu Cu'SeddirCredits: 1,000
Faction: New Jedi OrderHeight: 5'10" / 177.8cm
Rank: PadawanWeight: 160 lbs / 72.57kg
Species: Human (Corellian)Eyes: Grey
Age: 18 (Born: 1,005 ABY)Hair: Black, cut short.
Gender: MaleSkin: Light Tan
Force Sensitive: Yes.

Distinguishing Marks:

On his chest there is a scar caused by a brush with Force Lightning when he was little more than ten years old. While a combination of Bacta and Healing through the force have healed much of it, it still remains visible.

Attributes
Strength: / / / / / / / / / /Ahrim despite daily training only had middling or rather average strength. While the force of his blows maybe lacking in power he makes up for it in tenacity.
Dexterity: / / / / / / / / / /Quick on his feet, Ahrim utilizes his speed and agility more than that of trying to pound an opponent into submission. Being able to outmaneuver, counter or merely keep pace with an enemy's attacks seem more worthwhile to him in the long run. His reflexes and reaction time are equally as good to compliment this philosophy.
Constitution: / / / / / / // / /Being instructed in Soresu, endurance and resilience are necessary in its instruction and implementation. Still young and strong, Ahrim's daily training has bolstered the already youthful energy and longevity inherent in a young man nearing his prime. While his strength maybe somewhat lacking, he is capable of running longer, and working harder than your average person.
Intelligence: / / / / / / / / / /Intelligent, Ahrim is quick to learn with some repetition. He primarily enjoys plumbing the depths (Those allowed at least to a Padawan Learner) of the Archives to broaden his knowledge base. While he is quick to learn new things, applying said knowledge still has its difficulties often leaving him to contemplate on it.
Wisdom: / / / / / / / / / /By no means the wisest man in the galaxy, he does have common sense and is 'street-wise' through his upbringing. But you won't catch him often divulging many pearls of wisdom. Instead parroting some of his prior master's if the situation suits.
Charisma: / / / / / / / / / /Still flush with youth, Ahrim's not the most well-mannered or cultured individual. Coming off more as a person who lived in a Nar Shadaa (And has) gutter at times. But this could be attributed to his relative inexperience in the wider world, or having a lackluster social life.

Form III: Soresu

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

Strengths:
Ahrim's core strengths rest within his physical stamina, speed and intelligence. After lengthy training, Ahrim has built up a hardy endurance for physical exertion. Combined with a limber form and mildly impressive speed, Ahrim is capable of running longer, and performing feats of agility the average human may find difficult. Despite being all of eighteen, Ahrim has shown to be quite smart with decent learning potential.

Weaknesses:
While fast and imbued with a robust constitution he only has an average level of strength. He may endure longer on the battlefield, but his blows may come in lighter against a physically stronger opponent. Being moved around, living on a freighter for much of his childhood and living with a cranky old man for the latter portion has left him a little socially lacking in good graces and mannerisms. While intelligent, Ahrim's lack of worldly experience has left him deficient in some settings all thanks in part to youth and poor rate of exposure.

GEAR:

Lightsaber:
Ahrim's lightsaber is of a standardized design with a slightly elongated emitter shroud. The grip is dark leather to compliment the shiny, almost chromed finish. The crystal is of the Adegan-Mephite variety capable of emitting a green coloration. While not exactly a looker when it comes to lightsabers, or containing any specialized properties it gets the job done when need be.

Westar-34 Blaster Pistol:
Old, scuffed and scratched this particular pistol according to Ahrim's mother had been in the family for a number of years. By the apparent wear and tear it had seen extensive use. By the time it had come into his possession, Ahrim had yet to learn much about blasters. Being such an old weapon parts or even replacement Power Paks for its use are hard to come by. This is due to his adamant decision of only using specific parts manufactured for the weapon. Even if he's a poor shot and wasting credits.

PERSONALITY:

Corellians... they've got rocket fuel for blood.
Origin Unknown

Ahrim is a young man in the middle of a crisis, one of which every human male comes to face sooner or later. That of shedding boyhood and embracing adulthood. While on the path of maturity, he can still come off as audacious and rebellious when faced with certain decisions like most Corellians. However, despite these negative traits he does try to curb them when the need arises. But when you're raised by parents who are smugglers, and then under the tutelage of an unorthodox Jedi with an unorthodox set of beliefs, some habits tend to take longer to break. Others are just ingrained and cannot be broken.

He is not without his own positives, Ahrim is at heart a good person. He will often not hesitate to help those in need, sometimes in unorthodox ways that may make him come off the fool. And while socially awkward, he can in rare circumstances be charming or insightful. He is just lacking in the manner and decorum befitting a person of his standing as a Padawan of the New Jedi Order.

BIOGRAPHY: 1,005 ABY - 1,015 ABY

Ahrim was born to two Corellian Smugglers on layover in Coronet City on Corellia. It was suffice to say he had an unorthodox upbringing as a result. When your parents are people who smuggle guns, spice, and other hot ticket items it made for an exciting if somewhat dangerous lifestyle. He'd often accompany his parents on their deliveries, met other smugglers, dealers, thieves, even a bounty hunter or two. Exposed to it all, Ahrim came to consider this 'life'. From long treks on the family freighter, to the seedy cantina establishments around the galaxy where his parents made their deals. Even to being coddled by a dancer or two who thought the rascal was too cute. Times were good then. But it began to change when he turned eight.

The Galactic Alliance had mostly fallen apart as the Sith war machine marched onward. It was then that his parents went from smuggling to criminals to smuggling to rebels. It was on one of these runs along the Outlander's Route that someone booked passage aboard their ship bound for Nar Shaddaa. It was a gentleman in his early seventies by the name of Jaro Markov, an eccentric if somewhat grumpy old man who kept to himself. Ahrim immediately set about pestering him. And soon learned that he didn't like his belongings messed with. Ahrim had been rummaging through them one evening when he came across several objects of interest.

Before he could even try to figure out what any of them were, Jaro had snatched the satchel away. Expecting some sort of retaliation, it surprised Ahrim that the old man just sent him on his way with a little shove. But for the next few days until they arrived on Nar Shaddaa, he had the feeling he was being watched by the old man. The satchel never out of his sight again. When finally they landed on Nar Shaddaa, and Jaro departed he paid the rest of his passage fee then disembarked

Hours later, after making a deal for a shipment, both he and his parents had headed toward a cantina they often frequented when on the moon. On their way they were confronted by a man who accused them of aiding a fugitive. A Jedi fugitive who had booked passage aboard their ship. Having received a tip from someone on the station they had stopped off at, at the time.

Ahrim's mother stepped forward, hands raised and tried to refute that claim only to find herself slammed into a nearby wall. Drawing his pistol, his father cried out for Ahrim to run and fired. The blaster bolt never connected; instead ricocheting off the red lightsaber the stranger... the Sith had drawn. Dead. His father fell limply on to the dirtied street.

Ahrim fired his mother's pistol at the lightsaber wielding man having not heeded his father, the bolt was deflected. It was brief, but enough to leave Ahrim in a mild fog of physical pain. He'd been hit by a puff of Force Lightning. The Sith had stopped. All Ahrim could see was a hand reaching down for him and in an eye blink it was gone. In its place were sounds, furious hums followed by expletives and bright flashes of light. Eyes fluttered closed, Ahrim hurt too much, felt too tired to stay awake.

They opened to slits again eventually, Jaro's face wavered into view. Trying to explain to a ten year old what had happened seemed difficult for the old man. But eventually he did. Jaro was a Jedi, "Of Sorts." as he put it. After Coruscant had fallen, Jaro had fled and been on the run ever since. He found a couple of smugglers, Ahrim's parents who were sympathetic to the Alliance and booked passage to Nar Shaddaa intending to hide until it was safer and then venture out to find others of the Order. He'd agreed to have a sit down with Ahrim's parents at the cantina after their business transactions were complete. Both of them having promised Jaro to place him in touch with some people who could help him disappear. Hearing a scream and blaster fire on Nar Shaddaa was dime a dozen, and he'd thought nothing of it. But the unease he felt that accompanied it had him follow its trail until he came across the scene.

Both parents dead, the Sith reaching down to pluck Ahrim up. He'd intended to take the boy, break him, and make him a pupil if possible. Anger had already ruined his chance to find the Jedi. And the boy was the consolation prize. Jumping in, Jaro eventually gained the upper hand in his duel and ended the Sith's life. Knowing others could be on the way he'd taken Ahrim and fled the scene. Safely hidden away his wounds had been tended to and the guilt Jaro felt had mounted.

BIOGRAPHY: 1,015 ABY - 1,023 ABY

The next eight years saw Ahrim and Jaro living on Nar Shaddaa, Jaro having took the boy in. During the day he fixed swoops and speeders for a living. In the evenings in their small dwelling, Jaro would train Ahrim having taken him on as a Padawan a few months after his parents deaths. He too had felt something in the boy. And he intended for it to be used as a force for good. To that end he taught Ahrim the ways of the lightsaber, how to harness the force and even discussed philosophy with the boy. He'd become a surrogate parent, and teacher one of which Ahrim came to rely upon. But as Jaro grew older, he became increasingly frail his health having suffered over the years. And where once a proud, but old man had stood, a frail shell now sat. Jaro died at the age of 81 in 1,023 ABY. It left Ahrim heartbroken and filled with a profound sense of loss for the second time in his young life. Cremated, Ahrim spread Jaro's ashes from one of Nar Shaddaa's spires as part of his master's final request. The other being that Ahrim take his lightsaber, and important belongings with him in search of other Jedi.

He eventually found them. Keeping a strap from his master's lightsaber, Ahrim turned over what little he'd brought with him to the Jedi. Allowed to stay, Ahrim has given himself over to his training in order to focus not focus on this most recent of losses and the reminders that live and breathe around him. That he is now without a master.

It's my first attempt on a character here. So I know it isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread. :CCry2 Because frankly, sliced bread is awesome. So please, let me know how I may improve it, or change it to better fit if it is lacking.

More boobs, that is all. Also Sliced Bread Bitches, but to be honest. Its quite nice but it'd be nice to put some kind of ranking on his skill with each force power or list a small description (like you did stats) about what he can do. Don't want people limiting you because of something you didn't know about.

So a ninja Corellian eh? Haha I kid, I kid. Looks pretty nice to me man, you obviously put some effort in to it and it shows. Everything is neatly put where it should be, a perfect profile for a rookie character in my opinon.

Just develop him at an appropriate pace, and you'll be fine. So far it looks like a solid character [note that I haven't read the history section].

The listing of proficiency of the force powers? I could do that. The first iteration I had relied on ranking, although I wasn't sure how much 'Ompf' a Padawan would have. Boobs he may not have, (Although I do have ideas for a Sith, or Mandolorian hmn...) but yes. Sliced bread, so versatile. Erm! I added a ranking thing in. Since I can't be trusted to write out descriptors at 5:32 am. Plus I figure if he receives training I can add in the descriptors with a little bump on those that help him. Everything is mostly average as far as the ranking goes. At least I hope.

EDIT: Why thank you, Gaja. And you're not too far off the mark on the ninja part. He was raised by smugglers.

Goooood...MUHAHAHAHA! Say does a Padawan want to join a "Pirate" Crew. You get robot arms, and a funny droideka that speaks in Spanish backwards.

Only if they were robot bear arms and the droideka also acted as a beverage dispenser. Now though I wonder how I go about acquiring a master.
