He all, new member here. Tried to post here before but got shut down by the spam filter haha, so hopefully this one goes through. I did a bit of RP years and years ago on original COH, but this is my first foray into the forum form. Always loved Star Wars, and I've got a pretty good understanding of the Legends EU thanks to Wikipedia, my phone, and a buttload of boring-ass college lectures.

Anywhoo, I made a character about a week or two ago and have been checking out the rules and regulations and whatnot since then. Her name's Lorena Delanova. She's a detective. In space. Who detects things. In or near space. I'd add the link but that's what blocked the post last time lol so you'll have to do the typing thing and look her up on your own.

Hey there! Welcome to the site! I hope you have a bunch of fun here. I know I do! The posting links and pictures issue, I THINK is a thing that happens when you've got three posts or less. Someone else with more knowledge will probably chime in, but I believe that's the reason you can't post links or pictures until you've got 3 or more posts.

Thanks! Yeah that was the conclusion I came to, there's a whole other thread about it somewhere. Anti-spybot stuff, so hopefully that first post won't randomly pop up in a week or two ha. That'd just be the worst gaffe ever.
Now I just have to learn to color in my doodles, and my character profile will be all set.

Hi there! I read your character actually, and found her to be very nice :) And yes, it's a filter problem designed to ward of evildoers from our holy sanctuary *hisses at a random fly*. We're a random folk 'o people that like to RP around, cut people's arms of, reveal themselves as a father to a cripple and generally save/screw over the galaxy.

Well, I am curious how one goes about earning that nifty 'Writer' tag with the fancy pants cityscape backdrop. My guess is - something to do with writing . . .

And I lied. I have another nit-picky question.
Going through the disallowed species, I notice there isn't a ban on Yoda's species. Seems odd, what with how tight lipped Lucas is about even naming them, and I was wondering if there's some unspoken site wide rule to never make a 'Yoda's nameless species' character. Not looking to make one myself anytime soon, but the total absence is a bit curious. Or I just didn't look hard enough, either or.
