PERSONALITY:
SKILLS, STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Ahmos is a skilled pilot, specializing in the T-83 X-wing, a one-man predecessor of the T-97. His skills as a mechanic are somewhat wanting, but he knows enough to keep the fighter in working order (although, most of the highly technical stuff is left to RL-S10). He has also learned a great deal about Starfighter tactics and strategy.
Balancing that out, however, is the fact that he is not particularly skilled with a blaster, and lacks the long-term endurance of a ground-pounder (toward whom he has a generally negative attitude).

PERSONALITY:
Although a member of the Galactic Rebellion, his own leanings are geared more toward those of the Empire, at least as it could - should - have been. He much prefers order and structure to the free-for-all attitude often espoused by his fellow rebel pilots (admittedly, probably a case of the star always being brighter in the next system over). That said, Ahmos is a loyal man, particularly to his fellow pilots. He has never really considered leaving the fight, though it isn't through any sense of loyalty to his mission. That said, there are those he admires on both sides of the galactic conflict however, and he seeks to model himself after them to the best of his ability.
Those facts notwithstanding, Ahmos is hardly a stereotype. He may spend off time with his fellow pilots but is generally a quiet member of the group, a watchful listener. He spends a great deal of time studying fighter pilot strategy and tactics.

Ahmos was born on Junction Station, son of literally star-crossed lovers - an Imperial Security Bureau agent and a Rebel insurgent. Shortly after birth, his mother fled with the newborn, placing him in the hands of her uncle, who raised him as his own. That uncle, Romo, was a pilot for the Rebellion, and taught Ahmos everything he could.
Ahmos joined the rebellion as soon as he could - more because he lacked any other options than out of a real sense of desire to "help the cause." He quickly proved himself an Ace - in fact, for a long time he couldn't figure out why everyone wasn't an Ace - and before long he was a Flight Leader. Shortly after becoming flight leader he was shot down, but managed to survive by crash landing on a moon, which earned him his call-sign, "Crash."
He was recently awarded the rank of Lieutenant, and now commands a flight of four X-wing fighters for the Galactic Rebellion.
