Descriptions:
APPEARANCE: Aeteran is a tall and thin man who always keeps his appearance neat and his gaze focused on the task at hands. He stands straight with his hands usually clasped in front of him in a very dignified manner. His eyes are icy blue and constantly have a look of alertness about him. Aeteran looks more like an obelisk than anything else, standing straight and constantly remaining vigilant of his surroundings. Though physically not that strong, Aeteran is quick and moves with alacrity. His voice is not particularly capturing, but he is remarkably well spoken and has the airs of an educated man. His preferred dress is that of a dignified businessman or politician, keeping it simple and not ostentatious; Aeteran hated drawing unnecessary attention to himself in public settings.

PERSONALITY: Both a businessman and a lawyer, Aeteran is always calm, cool, collected and composed. Manipulation, rather than direct coercion, is his primary method of accomplishing his ends. He speaks with articulation and rapidity as well as the syntax and diction of an educated man. Education is extremely important to Aeteran, and he constantly is attempting to learn as much as he possibly can. His memory is long and he holds grudges with ease, never forgetting when there was a slight or offense committed against him. The first reaction when in a new situation is for Aeteran to constantly watch and observe his surroundings before making any actions; he is more likely to wait too long rather than act on impulse. He has a knack for picking up on the intentions and behaviors of other individuals, and reading them, though this often leads to arrogance. In general Aeteran always believes he is right, and can be stubborn when someone is fighting with him. Though physically weak he is an aggressive individual and will engage in conflict, though not always directly. When you first meet Aeteran he is a warm and friendly individual, being very outgoing and extroverted but often times it comes from his training in the world of business.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

One of Aeteran’s biggest strengths is his ability to gather and retain information. Constantly observing, Aeteran has a huge thirst for learning new subjects and acquiring useful information, his experiences with business, law, and the shadowy world of corporate espionage has left him with a knack for spying, learning things about people, and using information effectively. One of the innate and useful abilities Aeteran possesses is the ease at which he can see where an individual fits into a group, allowing him to pick out the weak links or knowing where influence lies. He has a strategic mind that gives him a predisposition for generating multiple solutions to a problem and sifting through the options to pick the one he believes is the best. He is a competitive man who constantly inspires competition in others. Though force users have some innate ability to sense the future, he is constantly planning ahead into the future with a predisposition to anticipate the possibilities of the future.

In terms of achieving his goals Aeteran is very deceptive and manipulative, preferring to work from the shadows instead of attacking the problem head on. Physically he is weak, but prefers to use speed and maneuverability to defeat his opponents. By the time Aeteran reveals his hand he prefers the battle already have been won by his tactics and strategies he implemented from the shadows. He has classical training in fencing with a vibroblade, and when engaging in physical combat he prefers to rely on footwork and precision rather than overpowering the enemy’s defense. He attempts to tire out the enemy as soon as he can rather than engage in a protracted battle.

Aeteran’s biggest weakness is his own person arrogance. If he views that he is superior he will often underestimate his opponent or disregard them. When he views an enemy as a non-threat often times Aeteran will overlook the doings of his enemy. Aeteran is also prone to cold, lasting anger at people who slight him and does not take kindly to humiliation. He is a proud man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, and often feels frustrated at failure. Oftentimes Aeteran overestimates his own abilities, refusing to see the possibility of failure as more than just a risk.

Biography:

Justification:

I always loved history when I was at the university, not because I enjoyed the stories, but because I enjoyed the authors. Numbers always bored me, though I was good at them in practice, and the history, language, cultural and political studies interested me the most because there was always a winner and a loser and a competition. Numbers don’t lie, but history does and that is why I found it immensely more interesting. I truly and thoroughly do appreciate and love the study of individuals and how they work for I believe that is the key to becoming one of the winners. Don’t mistake me, once my bones have ground to dust I don’t want to be remembered as a hero or a villain, I simply want to be one of those writing the history with my name left merely as a footnote. It isn’t egotism or greed that drives, but rather a need to be in control of that which I view is the greatest legacy; to be not the hero of the story, the star of the show, or the man of the hour but rather to be the individual who selects the hero, who creates the story, and who ultimately decides whether he lives or dies. The journey to becoming that author, that script writer, that judge of character is long and arduous and I am just beginning the odyssey to achieve this.

Introduction to Intergalactic Economics:

My name is Aeteran Ea’Tera, a descendant of no particular note to a family of no particular note. I don’t resent the fact that I was not born into wealth or a family of interest, and after I graduated from the University I never spoke to them again. My early childhood, in all honesty, it was pleasant but by no means was it interesting. I was born on the outskirts of the capital city of Curamelle, in one of the nicer residential districts. My family made sure that I would be educated to the best of my ability, and from a young age I voraciously devoured anything I could get my hands on. Fate blessed me with a partially eidetic memory that allowed me to remember my lessons with ease. I learned the basics of language, history, mathematics, and science. Wealth from the Perlemian Trade Route flowed freely into our world and our cities, but more importantly so did culture and knowledge. I absorbed everything that I possibly could as a young boy, striving to learn all that I could while I prepared for what seemed an inevitable career path. I would learn, grow, and become one of the billion faceless inhabitants of the galaxy, and during this time I was perfectly content to be completely anonymous on the grand stage of the galaxy.

Theoretical Studies of Galactic Commerce:

Following the completion of my elementary education I attended the Corulag University of Economics, one of the premiere institutions for the study of business. I was always drawn into business and the study of money; I simply find the whole concept of commerce enrapturing. Power was what I had a taste of during my time at the University, for it had been the first time I could apply my knowledge and see results. Something within me began to change as I grew up and I was no longer content to be simply average, but I wanted something more. Frustration would well up within me when I wasn’t taken seriously or when my advice was ignored. I took serious pride in my work and my calm counsel. I realized many gifts during my time at the University, including a knack for reading the demeanors and intentions of my fellow classmates as well as speaking eloquently. I was a consummate businessman and professional in every sense of the word, almost as a politician but more concerned with the bottom line of profit and results, rather than counting votes I would count the credits. Though I loved business, I loved manipulating people far more which is what led me on to my next career path. I completed my degree in Intergalactic Business and moved on to my next academic pursuit.

Advanced Intergalactic Legal Studies:

Law was my next skill that I would attempt to master. It was such a variable peculiarity; the origins of each law came from different places and for different reasons. Though the New Sith Imperium had brought its laws to Corulag, there was still much more to learn than that. My time at the Law Academy was rigorous and I threw myself into it with all of my energy. It wasn’t long until I had graduated with my degree in law at the age of 23 years old. I had come out of my education with a quality that most people would envy but I had not gained any friends or allies. Now was my time to move forward into my career.

Applied Intergalactic Law:

My first job was with a law firm on Corulag. I represented major firms and companies that were undergoing legal trouble. My background in both business and law gave me a unique skill set that allowed me to effectively remove the stain of unethical conduct or allow me to help move a company through the complex legal barriers and regulations to trade. It was completely soul sucking work, as I navigated the sludge of a firm’s filth to keep the profits coming in and minimizing the damage the legal system could do to the bottom line. Remorse or guilt was never a consideration or an obstacle in my line of work. I grew to appreciate the power of secrets, and I learned that the law in itself is a weak and pliable force. Engaging in corporate espionage and the backroom dealings gave me a thrill, and over my short time at the firm I began developing contacts, both scrupulous and sordid in order to accomplish my goals. The beauty and the thrill of winning a case through blackmail, secrecy, and manipulation called to me with an insatiable demand that I do whatever it takes to win. I didn’t feel remorse when I bribed a government official to look the other way, nor did I when my actions led to a destruction of a firm. Most of all I didn’t feel any guilt when a man killed himself rather than give in to my blackmail demands. That first death wet my hands with blood and though I did not feel guilt, I felt something else awaken within me. Years of manipulation and moving through the system left me with a hunger for power, and the desire to use greater means to achieve it. A distant feeling of power came alive within me, and guided me to leave my life behind along with my possessions. The force had begun to stir within me, and I knew that this was my calling.

Departure:

I liquidated my assets and decided to travel light, booking passage to the training center of the Sith in order to learn more about them. They were shadowy, but powerful, having conquered a majority of the galaxy and leaving the Jedi broken and on the run. I wasn’t about to join the losing side. There was a nice life I left behind, but I did so in order to pursue that great calling of being a powerful individual who would write the fates of men. The unknown is frightening, and I don’t know what fate has in store, but I am ready to go forth into the darkness and realize my terrifying potential.

I like what I see so far. Didn't read the bio because I'm on my phone. But he seems super neat so far! Oh your faction you have "none" It should read Imperium, and your rank would be Acolyte.

Don't forget to sign up in the Imperium Sign-up thread. =)

I gotcha. No problem. Check out "The Spiritual" in my Sig. When you're approved I'd be happy to do some training.
