Personality: While he might look a bit serious, Aeron is actually a quite humorous Jedi. He likes to joke around with his fellow Jedi, and is usually nice and friendly to anyone (except the enemy) that he meets while on a mission. However, whenever he is on a mission in the shadowy parts of Courscant or any other city planets, he usually tends to stay anonymous. Thanks to his jet black Jedi tunic and pants, as well as the hood over his head, Aeron blends perfectly into shadows. He tends to ‘go along with the crowd’ so as to not make others suspicious, and has the ability to pretend to be someone who he isn’t.

Bio: Aeron was born to two loving parents. They were quite rich, and they lived in a luxury apartment in the Capital of Corellia. Aeron was about four years old when a pair of Jedi knights came to Corellia in search for some force-sensitive children. Aeron was found to be force sensitive, and the parents proudly gave their son to the Jedi Order. Aeron was taken to Courscant, and his training as a youngling began. Aeron, with his bright red hair and brown eyes, stood out amongst his fellow younglings. He was quite curious, and he liked to ask a lot of questions. As an Initiate, he was trained the lightsaber form of Shii-Cho Form I. However, he didn't find himself interested in Shii-Cho Form 1. To him, it seemed like as if he had enough abilities to try something more complex. One day in Temple history class after a meditation session, Aeron found an article about Mace Windu. In the article, there was a sentence mentioning that Mace Windu had crafted his own form, known as Vaapad. There was also a small picture of him performing the Vaapad. The next day, in lightsaber combat class, the Initiate decided to try out the complex lightsaber form. While others were training for Shii-Cho Form I, Aeron attempted to impress them by showing off Vaapad. Ofcourse, three seconds into performing it, it ended up in a disaster. His lightsaber ended up severely burning and bruising his shoulders. None of Aeron's instructors were amused. From that day on, Aeron discovered the value of learning the basic lightsaber form, and worked his hardest to be successful with Shii-Cho. He remains worried to this day that no master would ever choose him as their apprentice because of the incident. The fate of his future is soon to be decided...

You'll have to engage in some training as a padawan before gaining the title of Knight.

I'd insert some space between Personality and Bio, and the biography is far too short. If he's trained as an Initiate for years, what can he do? What has he learned? How has this shaped him into the person he is now? Put simply, what makes this character unique?

Also, there is NO way your character has studied Juyo/Vaapad. Nope, not happening. That Form REQUIRES study of the other 6 in order to be anywhere remotely close to mastered, and it's not a form that is often taught even to experienced Jedi Knights. Only the truly dedicated lightsaberists (and we're talking maybe 1 or 2 in thousands) will study the Form successfully. Certainly no Initiate would ever be allowed to know anything more than the fact that it exists.

I, personally, would recommend a little rethink. Traditionally, students in the Order are first taught the Shii-Cho form (Form I), that serving as their introduction to lightsaber combat. When suitably completed (but not necessarily mastered) and under the guidance of their own Master (i.e. requiring Padawan status), a student would then progress towards study of another form, one that best suits their personality - the cautious conservative might chose Soresu, while the ADHD-suffering Jedi with way too much sugar in their diet might chose Ataru. And so on. Your character isn't at the level to have mastered anything beyond Shii-Cho, but it's not unreasonable to suggest that you might have started studying the basics of one other. Just as long as it's not Form VIIa/b!

Okay.... I'll go do some editing. Thanks for your comment. I unfortunately wrote this before I read that I can only start out as an Initiate or a Padawan.

We have a small handful of RPers who have characters studying Vaapad/Juyo and most of them are Knights who have not mastered all other lightsaber forms. However, Fire-type, if you do want your character to study it, what I will recommend is that he also focus' on emotional control which will be something I know I would be looking for when he applies for Knighthood.

I like Gaba's suggestion. The lack of control with your emotions might be a good character conflict for you, as eventually learning Vaapad (and I mean EVENTUALLY) would be your goal. It would be a good purpose that determines much of your choices along the way, if only to groom yourself to be that Jedi that would be accepted as 'ready' to learn the form.

I'd suggest that you take one moment in your character's history and recall that moment, flesh it out and write it here to explain why your character has a specific trait; i.e. expound on how much of a kick he gets out of being funny when others aren't, or explain why he's so emotional due to a specific event (even if there are multiple events, just pick the one that stands out), or emphasize a mistake he's made before because he leaps before he looks. Any -one- of those things will help guide you through future choices in the rp.

I myself can only write as well as my own character profile inspires me to. If there's enough of that 'good stuff' in there, then I can keep going as long as it feeds me. I think it's a mistake to think that you will create a bio through future roleplay. Not to say that you don't expand on your character in the rp, but I think you'll have more fun if there's more to start with.

This guy might know a thing or two about the form you like btw...

@GABA: Understood.
@Deathtoll: I'll put some more of this 'emotional conflict' thing into my bio. Thank you both for the comments.
