HEIGHT: 5'6''
WEIGHT: 112 LB

HAIR: Brown and usually braided behind her, though she does let it down sometimes.
SKIN: White, with a light tan
CREDITS: 1000
DISTINGUISHING MARKS: She has a small scar behind her ear.
FORCE SENSITIVE: No
STRENGTH: She is very strong for her age, size and gender, but she is a girl and she isn't ripped.
DEXTERITY: She is very strong and in good shape. She excels in running, climbing and balancing. She can roll too, but she has never been able to flip or other involved acrobatics.
CONSTITUTION: She is young and in good health, with an excellent constitution.
INTELLIGENCE: She is very intelligent. She's no prodigy or genius, but she has a good head on her shoulders. She is witty, she is good at figuring things out and can be a schemer, though she is also impulsive at times.
WISDOM: Wisdom? She is no old scribe with wise sayings who always knows what is best. But she isn't completely without wisdom either. She has a sort of wisdom of the world. She knows how things work, and how people work.
CHARISMA: She has a shell. A pretty tough one. She can be civil, and even kind, though she tries not to show those sides, but she generally acts cold and tough. She wants to push people away, not draw them in. And for the kind of work she does, her employers are not looking for a sweet little girl. They want someone hard. Not the kind of thing that makes everyone love you.
SKILLS:
She is a skilled pilot and mechanic, she is good with weapons, particularly her blaster. She is good at making plans; elaborate planing ahead or quick makeshift plans, she can think on her feet and is good at getting out of trouble. She speaks Standard Galactic Basic, some Concordian and a little Huttese.
OCCUPATION:
She doesn't identify herself with any one trade. She's a smuggler, bounty hunter, spy, guard/bodyguard, pilot, mechanic, and pretty much anything else, legal or illegal that comes in range of her abilities.
BLASTER:
DL-1
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Aerena is a smart girl. She has good sense and is good at making plans. She also can speak a few different languages, which can come in handy. And she is fairly strong and agile, although she isn't as acrobatic as some.
She is not afraid to dabble in the criminal, which can get her into trouble. Also, she is against killing unless it is absolutely necessary, which can be a big weakness for a bounty hunter. If she decides to go after a bounty, she'll pick a wanted dead or alive, and try to take them in alive, the most dangerous way of capturing a criminal. She is also afraid to make attachments to people, or other creatures, coming from a deep seated fear of losing those she loves. She is also quite lonely, which can cause her a little frustration or confusion occasionally, as the two feelings conflict.
GEAR:
She usually just carries her DL-1 around with her, although she sometimes carries a knife.
SHIP:
Star Seeker
(^It looks like that, only it is blue where it is orange. And see those off-white plates? They are a forest green.)
It is a XS Stock Light Freighter. Yes, very old when she she got it, and even older now. Ancient, actually. Her history explains why she has it, and how it even works still.
DROIDS:
None
PETS:
None
PERSONALITY:
Aerena is quite the tomboy, as she has always been. She doesn't mind getting dirty, and is a hard worker. She is quite committed to anything she puts her hand to, and when she starts a job, she always finishes it, quickly and as efficiently as possible, never goofing on a job. She takes responsibilities seriously. She also takes life seriously. Although she is no angel, and dabbles in the criminal, she would never take a life unless it was completely necessary to her very existence. She is a pretty tough cookie outwardly, and inwardly as well, but on the inside, not so much. Although she has hidden it well, and even hides it from herself, she is very lonely. Since Ettal died, she has made no friends, and doesn't plan to. One of her greatest fears is losing people close to her, so although she is really lonely, she shuns friendship. She has a very loving nature, although it is buried deep within her, and she is afraid to let it out, fearing friendship. She is loyal to an extreme. She has deep attachment to her ship and blaster, and values them as her most prized and beloved possessions.
HISTORY:
She was born on the planet of Corellia in 29 BBY. She never knew her parents. When she was a baby, an old woman named Ettal Rann found her in front of her house. The woman, whom Aerena came to call Ettal, took Aerena in and cared for her as her own daughter. Aerena grew up happily in the old woman's home and learned many practical things, as Ettal Rann was poor. When she became old enough, Aerena would get odd jobs to help bring food on the table, and she was very proud of her role. When she was seven years old, she found a blaster in a gutter, and brought it home with her. She didn't tell the old woman about it, and hid it where she knew it would be safe from discovery and the elements. Often, when she could find free time, she would take out her blaster and look at it, sometimes clean it and shine it. After a while, she started to take it far from the house and shoot it in a secret spot. She was rather clumsy with it at first, but as time went on, she progressed in her skills. Of course, she soon ran out of shots, but after some time and difficulty, she managed to learn where to get them, and would save some of her earnings to buy more power packs. Over time, she became quite proficient with her weapon. So her life went on happily and rather uneventfully.
When she was eight years old, the next thing worthy of note happened. There was a man she had been doing odd jobs for for nearly a year. He owned a small shipyard, where he repaired and sold starships, and a few land vehicles as well. She would do many things, from picking up shipments of ship and vehicle parts and bringing them to the shop, to cleaning up the shop, and helping him with his droids. She had always taken an interest in the ships that came in, and he agreed to teach her how to fix and fly ships, so she could expand her duties. She took an extreme interest, and learned quickly. By the time she was ten years old, she could fix or fly pretty much any ship that one person could fix or fly alone.
Later in the year, she and the shipyard owner were delivering a couple of speeder bikes to a customer. He lived on the edge of the city, and had a little land around his house. They arrived at his home, and Aerena saw a ship behind his house. Despite it's completely delapidated condition, the ship caught her eye, and she pointed it out to the shipyard owner, who was immediately interested. He had recognized the ship as an XS Stock Light Freighter, and was in absolute shock that one still existed. When they had finished their business, Aerena casually asked the customer if she could look at the ship. He laughed and told them it wasn't much to look at, but led them around to look at it anyway. The shipyard owner lost interest after seeing the ship better. It may be old and extremely rare, but it was no good to him. It would take him years to get it back in working order, and he didn't have the time, space or money to deal with it. Aerena asked the customer how much he wanted for it. He replied that if they could get it off his property, they could have it. The shipyard owner didn't want it on his property, taking up room, but Aerena attempted to mke a deal with him. If he would have it hauled to her house, she would work without pay for a time.
He was surprised that she wanted that old piece of junk, but he agreed to the deal.
Early the next year Ettal died, which left Aelena devastated. After a few weeks, she emerged from the deep melancholy she had been in, and appeared to be recovered. However, she was not. This misfortune had left its scar upon her, leaving her afraid to make attachments, from fear of losing those she loved. She never forgot Ettal, and thought often about the woman that had been like a mother to her. Her life went back to normal pretty much, except the emptiness of Ettal's absence. However, she soon found that her small income wasn't enough to support her. She would have thought she'd get more jobs when she got older, being bigger and stronger and capable of more things, but the truth was she didn't. Perhaps as she got older, people didn't have as much pity on her, which must have driven a lot of her former employers. She soon turned to stealing and bigger jobs, not all of them legal. By the time she was thirteen, she would hang out in cantinas and wait for jobs, whether they needed a guide or a body guard, a guard in general, someone to run stolen or illegal goods, or even legitimate goods, a pilot or technician, she technically did anything that was available, once even hunting down a criminal with a price on his head. At first, many questioned such a young girl hanging out in a cantina, and they would laugh at her when they heard what she was there for. One brute, objecting to her presence, tried to throw her out. She pulled her blaster and shot him in the shoulder, and it was a rare occasion that someone would try to bother her after that. She would occasionally get challenged, and when she had proved adapt to the tests, she gained respect. As she proved herself more able, she even started to get references, and had a pretty successful and exciting career on Corellia.
When she was fourteen years old her ship was finally ready to fly, which she had been working on diligently and spending nearly all her earnings. Surprisingly, there wasn't as much damage as there had seemed to be; it must have had some kind of shelter most of the time it had been sitting. She took it on its first flight, testing all its functions. It did need a little tweaking, and she returned to Corellia. Soon it was in fine order, and as soon as she had gathered supplies, she left the planet again, traveling to Coruscant. She stayed there a while, but soon tired of the place. She had to earn her reputation all over again, and did get a job, specifically picking up some chaak root from Naboo and smuggling it back to Coruscant. When she had finished and collected her money, she returned to Corellia. She stayed there for a while, only leaving in the course of her jobs. During the course of her jobs, she explored much of the known galaxy and one place of interest that her travels took her was Concordia. She stayed for a while, and learned to understand and speak much Concordian. She soon left Concordia, and after a short stop on Corellia, she traveled to Tatooine. There she got involved with Jabba, and she ended up doing a lot of jobs for the Hutt. She also learned a little Huttese, though she isn't fluent in the language yet. On her last job, relativistic shields malfunctioned when she was doing a short hyperspace jump, which is how she found herself in the present time.
