A MEMOIR
Adrián del-Nevaréz is a slender and reclusive sixteen-year-old boy when he dies at the hands of an incendiary explosive. Rubble shatters the rib cage, flames mutilate the left arm down, shrapnel gorges on the sum of his right leg. In a blink of an eye, and he succumbs to death. Seven minutes later, he is revived. Draped on a stretcher beside a throbbing headache, a man’s lips flutter with words he cannot understand. The young boy inclines forward, frozen as he stares at the stump of where his leg should be. Now, he can hear the paramedic: death, dismemberment, resuscitation. A living, breathing miracle, they say.
But Adrián does not feel like one.
Two years feels like a hundred. His leg is replaced for a cheap prosthetic, and welfare exchanged for narcotics. Intoxication is the pastime, and the high is the escape. From young man to roving crackpot, he deteriorates into a hollow lump of tissue waiting to die again. To his misfortune, however, one is unwilling to let him slip through their fingers: his first love, Lucia Singh, an idealistic nurse for a run-down clinic in the lower levels. Though beautiful, her character burns with a stubborn passion, and always seeks to drag Adrián from his shell.
It is through her, he finds new meaning.
Eleven years, and he is a physician recognized across a quarter of the galaxy. The trailblazer of his field, he labors to expand modern medicine to the less fortunate in the Outer-Rim. Inflamed by personal experience and driven in the spirit to serve, welfare for all becomes more an obligation than an occupation. Yet, obligations overshadow his relationships, and Lucia, his wife, leaves him for another.
And the path narrows for one.
Three years later, Adrián is racing through vast flora and vivid foliage. Felucia fumes in color: blue in cellophane flowers, purple in fungal trees, red in the fires that raged of war. Death has finally crawled out from Moraband, and set the planet alight in the first battle between Jedi and Sith. And as an interim surgeon for the Order, he slaves to care for the wounded, ofttimes with his life on the line. Now is no different. In the distance, Arthur Kol, a lauded Knight, lolls on the ground. Burn marks riddle his face. A wedge of steel pokes from his chest. So, as one had done for Adrián, he salvages the stranger from death, sowing the seeds of a new rapport.
Ergo, no longer is he alone in his expedition through fate.
Four years leads him to the mess of now. Still struggling to balance obligation from relationships. Desperate to find greater purpose in the lot that fate has given him. Naive to the war raging around him. He is old, but there is still much to learn.

i: SKILLS
Acclaimed doctor and medicinal marvel, Adrián is clearly skilled in the art of aid. Although rather weak in stark contrast to veteran soldiers, he makes up for it through intellect and cunning, constantly looking to stay one step ahead of an opponent. Melee combat is likewise not his forte, having based upon only experience on the streets of underworld Coruscant.
ii: ARMORIn casual instances, Adrián prefers the comfort of clean and contemporary attire, and always stays within style. As for professional circumstances: a lithe, white anorak suit with light duraplast plates along his chest and shoulders. and in combat-oriented situations, some generic medium armor has forever been at his side.
