Morgan couldn’t see it exactly, but Emryc’s eyes were very curious right then. Golds fought against silvers as the beast within him clawed for control to the surface. Emryc wanted to cherish and love, Raze wanted to subdue and take. Morgan’s words certainly didn’t help, shuddered breaths escaping Emryc as he closed his eyes and gritted his teeth. He loved Morgan with a dangerous passion that came only from the juncture where both Raze and Emryc existed. It was a precarious balance, but it meant taking the bad with the good.

The hand around Morgan’s waist tightened, fingernails digging into skin, but just short of hurting. He wanted nothing more than to shove and pin Morgan down and have his way, but he tempered himself. Emryc instead turned Morgan around to face him, looking into those golden hues. His own silvers were mixed with gold and the Firrerreo would know Raze was hovering just beneath the surface. Morgan was luring him now without Emryc being in the armor.

The half Sephi nudged Morgan back onto the bed so he laid back on it, but Emryc remained standing. Emryc gazed down at the svelte man, drinking in sight of the lighting that accented all his contours and the curvature of every muscle. He grasped Morgan’s leg so his foot pressed against Emryc's bare chest. Emryc simply admired the beautiful man from where he stood, letting him do the same in return. His fingers traced along the lace along his ankle and down along his calf.

“Maybe I want to play a little first,” He said with a teasing grin, reminding Morgan that he knew how to make the Firrerreo ache just as bad as he made him.

Silk and iron met it's equal, fingers curling into Morgan's waist and in Emryc's hair. The fire beneath the surface behind swirling stormclouds, flashing and fluorescent, was much clearer and easier to pick up than it was when they'd first met a year ago. A monster stalked beneath, a thing that called to Emryc and the beast that lay within him as well. It wanted him, wanted to be closer, more intimate, intertwined in mirror of the way the two men entangled themselves.

Morgan turned as he was directed, both knowing he would go along with these nonverbal instructions easily and with a base of delight. Golden flashed and fell back, laying against in the sheets and adjusting his body and limbs to give the other man the best view, laced legs curling and arms above his head. Those points of wild energy greedily drank in every angle of the half-Sephi, every place he'd held and kissed, every still hearing injury and mark left behind, every physical sign of their mutual passions for one another.

His gaze eventually found those eyes he liked so much, finding a sublime splendor in the way silver and gold interplayed and swirled together as they looked down at him. The beautiful monster that was Morgan stared back, locked on and unable or unwilling to look away. His hands gripped the sheets in an attempt to control himself as the other man's touch teased across his skin.

The prince whimpered impatiently but he knew this was the way it was. They would push each other right to the edge until they could hold back no longer. It's what Morgan got for playing his game. But this was a particular sort of heat that raged beneath the surface of his skin, golds flashing and fangs bared for a moment. His other leg lifted and hooked around a thigh pulling Emryc toward him with a possessive energy. Morgan bent up at the waist, face closer to Emryc's as he looked up at him.

"Make me sing for you."

It was some time later with them both in bed and exhausted. Emryc casually rolled off Morgan and flopped onto his back, wiping the sweat off his forehead. He stared up at the ceiling for a moment, a lazy and content look on his face. For a moment his thoughts began to drift away towards a life where he could simply remain with Morgan without ever having to leave. He squashed the thought at once, internally chastising himself for entertaining such silly notions. It was likely an impossibility with the lives they led.

Emryc turned over to give Morgan a light kiss on his forehead before moving to get off the bed. He grabbed Morgan’s pack of cigarra, popping one between his lips before igniting it with the Force. He tossed the pack to Morgan along with a lighter, his eyes drinking in sight of the Firrerreo still in the lingerie. He looked off to the side where he saw the torn remnants of underwear, “Ah kriff...thought I was careful with that,” He mused aloud as he blew out a cloud of smoke.

His comlink beeped a few times and he walked over to look at it. Morgan’s began to beep at the same time. Cigarra hanging at the corner of his lips, he quickly scanned it, “Mission assignment for us both,” He muttered, more than a little annoyed at having it come through already. He was just getting used to days of doing nothing but enjoying Morgan’s company.

Emryc sighed and put the comlink down, walking over to start the shower while he let Morgan read the mission brief.

Morgan huffed a little as the muscular weight of his boyfriend left him, brows furrowing a little at the immediate sensation of cool air running over sweaty skin. He blinked slowly but couldn't yet find the energy to actually properly move, soreness suffusing him and content to just lay there and stretch his limbs this way and that. Emryc's little kiss widened a lazy smile and he watched him get up.

He didn't bother actually catching the pack and lighter and just allowed them to plop onto the sheets by him from where he retrieved what he wanted. Languid and slow he finally got himself upright, lighting a cigarra between his lips and getting himself over to the edge of the bed.

"Others were ordered," the prince replied with a small smirk and light flushing over his neck,"I like it when you tear things off of me." Morgan was glad he'd thought ahead, although he was also pleased to find the stockings weren't doing too poorly. His thoughts were interrupted by the duo of commlink alerts and the Firrerreo narrowed his eyes at the device. A finger flick brought it to his hand to read the message while his expression defaulted to something more neutral and work-like while he read the report.

Bespin again, a follow up to the last time. Things had progressed and while he couldn't reasonably complain about returning to Cloud City with Emryc again the timing was inconvenient. Morgan didn't go through every detail just yet, instead deciding he didn't want to read while steadily heading toward sticky status. After another drag on his cigarra he put it out in a tray and stood to remove his lingerie before following after the other man into the refresher.

"Might get to revisit that estate after all."

It was the next morning and Emryc had finished up styling his hair. He still had a toothbrush hanging from the corner of his lips while he fixed up his hair. He spat out into the sink before walking out of the refresher to look over at Morgan again, “You do not need three suitcases for this trip, babe,” He said sternly, silver eyes flicking back and forth between the absurd amount of luggage and clothes strewn all over the bed. This had been a point of contention all morning. For Emryc’s part, all of his things were consolidated into a single duffel bag.

“And I’m not going to spend time figuring out how to wash that shit so it’ll probably be botched,” He pointed his toothbrush towards some very fancy looking offworld clothing that looked like they could only be drycleaned or washed in very specific ways. Emryc glared at Morgan a moment longer before returning to brush his teeth.

He finished up where he was, put his chrono on and checked his face to ensure the shave left behind only an attractive bit of stubble. Emryc walked back outside and rolled his eyes at the sight after pausing for a moment, “I’m going to make us some eggs. You’re coming downstairs with one suitcase,” He said flatly before walking off without any room for argument. He loved the man, but having an entire suitcase simply for bath products sounded absurd even to him.

Morgan fixed Emryc with a look that suggested he was affronted by the concept of not having enough clothing and their matching accessories. Not to mention the assortment of hygienic goods. Of course the prince didn't need three suitcases given that there was already going to be a Work Crate aboard the ship, but he also wanted at least some nicer things for just in case reasons. He huffed with annoyance and started going through the existing suitcases muttering something about stripes and polka dots while Emryc headed downstairs.

He also had a bit of fresh gilding from the reminder that Emryc had casually decided to wash his clothes for him. Toning down his fashion choices seemed... fair.

The prince would reappear with an entirely different and somewhat larger suitcase. It was technically singular as instructed. Morgan wheeled it over by the door, slightly adjusted the positioning of his hair, and then wandered off into the kitchen. Immediately he got to work arranging for tea while his boyfriend handled eggs. He glanced over at Emryc's cooking handiwork with open curiosity, having never actually seen him prepare anything that wasn't an MRE or at least MRE-adjacent.

"I love you," Morgan said suddenly as he got to pouring the black tea into cups, struck by how easy and familiar both of them being the kitchen together was already after just three days. It felt like it was how it was supposed to be and he was again reminded of how he'd thought it was more home-like with Emryc around to share his time with.

He got to the eggs and tea in due order, eating quickly for once as he fell into his more militant working habits. Morgan sipped the tea and then paused, a small smile lighting up his face.
"So. Yours, or mine?" Golden eyes turned to look fully at the other man.

"Ship, that is."

Emryc glanced over to see Morgan lugging around a larger suitcase. It looked closer to two of the other suitcases put together. Emryc almost opened his mouth, but he thought better of it. Technically Morgan followed the rules of one suitcase, and that was far better than he expected.

He was still working on the eggs by the time Morgan walked over, focusing back on the pan, “Don’t get too excited,” He muttered, avoiding looking at the fascinated look on his face. There was only a vague grunt in response to Morgan’s declaration of love.

He brought over the eggs and Morgan would notice that the yolks were missing. Emryc considered yolks to be far too fatty, and it was only egg whites. However, Morgan would also notice something shocking - there were little hints of spices in the eggs. Not just spices, but some that actually looked slightly red of the tamer Firrerre variation. He had picked out spices that passed his sniff test and didn't burn his nosehairs off. The eggs had been cooked with mushrooms and peppers, though the chopping looked less than impressive.

Emryc said nothing about the food, subtle as always in the ways he showed his affection for the other man. The half Sephi sat across him and began to eat, attempting to slow down for his boyfriend. A glance up showed that Morgan had sped up, leaving him still eating. Emryc blinked curiously but sped up again to finish up.

He looked up at Morgan again when he spoke, gaze lingering on the man’s for a moment before a grin broke across his face. Morgan had said those exact words when they had first met. Before Emryc ever knew he had just come across the most important and cherished person in his life.

Emryc sipped silently from his tea before answering, “Yours. I will even attempt to play a Hallikset so your ship has remnants of my out of tune contributions,” He winked at Morgan before standing up to clean off the dishes.

Morgan's head tilted a little as he examined the eggs. His brows raised as he noticed that, despite being without the rich yolks, they were supplemented with vegetables and, most surprisingly, seasonings. He ate them without complaint and in fact with a certain sense of fondness. They were a simple little thing but to the Firrerreo it still managed to speak volumes and despite the simplicity he seemed to enjoy them.

The prince took the extra few seconds after he finished to sip his tea and just look across the table at his boyfriend. He looked confused for a moment before his face lit up abruptly into a brilliant smile when the half-Sephi mentioned playing a hallikset, suddenly quite excited.

"Can we play together?" he asked eagerly, "Please?" Morgan stood as Emryc did and stepped in capture his lips in a brief kiss before he took the prince's plate, an extra energy in his step as he went about doing final tasks and locking up the apartment. Some short commands in Firrerre over his comm to Dante would get the ship prepared for launch.

In the middle of zipping up his boots he paused, brows furrowing in a pensive expression. Golden eyes turned to look with that same look toward his boyfriend, clearly thinking over something he considered important. Morgan stood up again and presented himself as ready to go, suitcase handle in one hand and hallikset case in the other, and his face slowly spread into a loving smile.

"Would you like to learn our lullaby?"

Emryc’s grin from his quip faded when Morgan suggested playing together. He was spared from saying much when Morgan stepped forth to kiss him, but the half Sephi didn’t let him go right away. His arm wrapped around his waist and tugged him close, taking his time with the kiss before drawing back to look at him.

“Did you...pack more of the stuff you bought at the store?” He mumbled quietly, looking almost embarrassed for asking. Emryc released Morgan after that, stepping away to help clean and pack up the apartment before they left.

Emryc swung his duffel bag over his shoulder, walking over to grab Morgan’s obnoxiously big suitcase as well. He glanced over at the man at his question, catching the significant look on his face. Emryc simply blinked back at him, “I think you’re overestimating my abilities,” He said flatly, “But I will learn if you teach.”

With that, he let Morgan lead the way to his ship. Emryc hadn’t looked at his comlink since the day prior, which was almost shockingly out of character for him.

“Are we stopping anywhere on the way or straight to Bespin?”

The prince certainly wasn't going to complain if his favourite soldier boy wanted the kiss to last a little longer and add in some extra closeness. Morgan knew better than to muss up Emryc's hair but a hand still gently lay against his neck for the duration, a thumb drawing aimlessly along his jawline. He was left with a soft smile when they separated that widened into a sly smirk accented by gilding along his neck.

"Several options," Morgan affirmed before he went about his other tasks.

Emryc's silent decision to carry absolutely everything got him and admiring look, but agreeing to learn the lullaby was what really lit up the Firrerreo's face. If his boyfriend hadn't been carrying so many things he might've been tackled into an aggressive bout of hugging but he tempered it to simple and joyous laughter as they headed out the door. Since he was leading the way Morgan insisted on opening doors and things for him.

"Not this time." He swiped his datapad to access a lift to the garage, attached to which were available spaces to store starships. Sitting in it's own space, quite snug considering its unusual dimensions, was the Voyager. "I suspect we will be there longer than the last visit," he added dryly. This follow up he felt may get more involved and take more doing that a little in and out wetwork with a burner ship.

The prince whistled a four beat tone and the side ramp dropped, the door opening to allow the two men into the ship and lights smoothly powering on within. True to form Dante was already aboard and would whistle a short greeting to both of them.

Morgan would reach up to retrieve his bag once they were inside and lead Emryc to the back where the quarters were, rolling his luggage into a corner of the largest room next to a familiar looking crate.

"This is the main bedroom. Store your things where you like."

At which point he headed up toward the cockpit.

Emryc used the Force to coast the luggage along when the ramp dropped, feeling particularly lazy after carrying around Morgan’s heavy bags. He glanced down at Dante with a grin. He had actually grown fond of the droid since their bonding moment sitting through frustrating Huttball games.

The half Sephi followed Morgan towards the captain quarters, recalling the times where they began in different rooms on his ship. Emryc stared vacantly for a moment before coming back to reality. He nodded and arranged everything while Morgan went over to get the ship ready for take off. He took in sight of the bedroom, recognizing it from the many times Morgan had video chatted with him while they were apart. This was where most of their relationship took place from Morgan’s life. He took in every detail fondly before he began to feel the ship rumble.

Emryc was in the seat next to Morgan moments later, his comlink out with Qwent on the screen. He relaxed back in his seat, playing a few rounds while they took off towards the atmosphere. The scene was not unfamiliar from the first day they had ever met. The only difference was that this time Emryc’s hand lazily dropped to the side and his index finger hooked around Morgan’s pinkie while his other hand played Qwent. The half Sephi didn’t say a word or take his eyes off the screen.

Emryc was left to arrange his things where and how he preferred while Morgan prepared the ship for departure. The captain's room was smaller than on a more traditional full-sized yacht which facilitated decorations mostly being on the walls rather than spare surfaces. Most notable was a relatively small abstract that really just made no sense at all and clashed with the other pieces that mainly consisted of people or things in motion or detailed landscapes.

Morgan settled into the suspended pilot's seat with a sense of comfortable familiarity not seen with the likes of the Lady Lucy. Frankly after the training and experience he had with agile combat spacecraft his ability to pilot more traditional yachts and freighters was limited to the basic at best. The Stinger model was something closer to what he was able to fly with finesse without stressing the hull.

The engines were quickly powering up when the half-Sephi found his way into the cockpit. Morgan's head tilted a little in his direction without really looking away from what he was doing, the picture of purest piloting professionalism if not for the soft smile that curled his lips at his boyfriend's lazy show of affection. His finger curled around the other in response. Sadly he needed the rest to fly.

Up they went, flying away from the buzzing city and then out of the atmosphere entirely. Morgan angled the ship while Dante worked on the jump coordinates in concert with the navicomputer.

"How does that game work?"

Emryc lost another round and scowled at the screen. He hadn’t let go of Morgan the entire time, the finger just casually looped around his. The other man kept the hold as well while he piloted the ship. The half Sephi almost missed his question, but he answered while looking at the datapad.

“It's a deck building card game where you try to get more points than your opponent over 16 turns, and each card in your deck has special abilities and interactions,” He rattled off easily enough. However, he had a curious expression on his face before he looked over at Morgan for a moment, “You know...you’d be quite good at it,” His boyfriend may have been atrocious at shooters, but he was exceptionally intelligent by nature and would excel in puzzle and strategy games.

He turned back to his game after a moment, switching the screen over to check on his Huttball stats instead. He remained seated until they jumped into hyperspace before stretching and rising from his seat.

“I’m going to watch a movie,” He announced as he walked off, “Hopefully we won’t kriff up your couch,” He said with a grin as he disappeared.

Based entirely on Emryc's description of the game it did actually sound like something Morgan would enjoy. He glanced over at his boyfriend when he mentioned he'd be good at and looked thoughtful although he didn't turn fully away from flying the ship. Shortly after the ship slowed and then shot off into hyperspace on the way to Bespin.

Morgan was in the cockpit for a few seconds longer after Emryc stood to adjust the power distribution and turn on the sound dampeners for a smooth ride, humming a jatzy tune all the while. The other man's comment elicited both a grin and a small flicker of gold over the back of his neck, the Firrerreo finally turning from his controls to look at his back as he headed into the lounge area. Golden eyes flicked briefly to the couch and then back to Emryc with an expression of consideration before he removed himself from the pilot's seat and followed.

"Not to worry. I brought rope," the prince assured him as he walked past the couch and pulled out his datapad, connected it to the ship's holobeacon, and navigated to the app store to look into this Qwent game. While it loaded up he went about gathering snacks from the galley and placing them into a bowl.

"Cloud City Nights?" Morgan suggested. It was a movie with a mix of drama, romance, and oddly enough martial arts set in Cloud City itself. It also starred Sam Kong-sang, a notable comedic action actor with a bad habit of injuring himself during stunts.

Emryc paused at the mention of rope. He wondered about how much he actually cared for a movie when he could instead test out that rope. For a moment the half Sephi stood there staring vacantly, but his thoughts were interrupted by Morgan. He looked back at his boyfriend, blinking a few times before it registered he was talking about a movie.

“You know, I’ve actually never seen it,” He admitted. It was a popular classic, but he simply had never gotten around to it. He had seen other Sam Kong-sang movies, however, and he enjoyed them enough. Emryc watching comedies was a curious sight - most of the time it was blank staring despite finding them hilarious.

Emryc moved to make room for Morgan on the couch, pulling the Firrerreo close to himself as the movie began to project. He wrapped his arm around the other man, exhaling quietly as his gaze lingered on the screen for a moment. The introduction music began as the half Sephi abruptly said the words almost too quiet to hear, “Love you,” He half mumbled.

Back to the couch with his snack bowl he went and settled in against the well-cushioned leather. Morgan wiggled a little as he was pulled in for maximum comfort and used his own lap to hold the bowl as well as a collection of napkins. He knew well by now they'd want them anyway.

"One of my favourites."

A smile lit up his face at the sudden declaration of love from his boyfriend, still not used to hearing them from him but delighted each and every time. His head leaned into Emryc's shoulders and his skin shifted remained firmly tinted gold over his neck and shoulders. "I love you too." With everything he'd come to know about the half-Sephi and all the progress they'd made, saying them back was a wonderful thing.

Morgan ate one of the veggie snacks from the bowl and allowed himself to relax, a gentle purring running through him as he breathed. Fondly he was reminded of that first time they'd gone to Bespin and the movie they'd watched together with Emryc putting up with the games he always played. The prince squished in a little closer.

"I am glad I accepted that first assignment," he said softly beneath the sound of the movie's opening sequence. "Now I get to be here with you."

Emryc looked over at the snack choices, grinning at seeing the veggies. Over their time together, he noticed Morgan had grown rather fond of his bland snacks. Emryc also caught himself developing a liking for the spiced meat snacks as well. In fact, he grabbed one of those and popped it into his mouth before wiping his fingers off on a napkin immediately.

He felt Morgan brush up closer, and he wrapped his arm tighter in return, his eyes still on the screen. Emryc grinned at his words, “I’m glad I didn’t play your bullshit games,” He said flatly, using the Force to float over a carrot and popping it into his mouth to avoid touching it.

“Then again, you probably wanted me from day one and were relieved I didn’t play,” Emryc tried not to grin, reaching over for another snack. He wiped his fingers off on the napkin again, "You were conveniently prepared for things," He said, coughing to stifle a laugh.

Morgan couldn't help but laugh at that comment. In a sense Emryc had "played", but not in the way everyone else seemed to. He dropped in and out as he wished and provided a challenge. It's what had drawn more and more of Morgan's interest and curiosity in the first place and lead to them growing so close. In the end what he'd learned was that much of Emryc was right there on the surface if one paid enough attention.

And then he'd fallen in love. A prize he hadn't even been looking for. Morgan ate a meat snack.

"Day four," he replied matter-of-factly, then slipped into an impish grin. Morgan knew exactly when he'd actually realized his interest had moved from the more ordinary to, at the very least, a more physical attraction. "The hotel shop conveniently had galactiglide." The Firrerreo ate another snack.

Morgan watched the movie in silence for a few minutes, chuckling softly at a bit of comedy straight out of the opening scenes that involved Sam's character making a fool of himself and fighting some people with a chair. Golden eyes glanced over at Emryc and then back again.

"Lap, please."

Emryc looked from the movie to Morgan when he stated the exact day. The half Sephi couldn’t help but grin smugly, only to fail to hold back a laugh when Morgan casually blurted out about picking up galacticglide. Emryc had been banking on making him flush and shy away, but clearly Morgan was blunt about this topic. In turn, Emryc was the one caught off guard, almost choking briefly on a carrot until he punched himself in the chest to ease it down.

He turned to watch the movie while he ate his snacks, an arm casually draped around Morgan. He didn’t laugh at any scenes, but his eyes did confirm that he found it to be entertaining. Once again it was too subtle for anyone but Morgan to notice.

Emryc wiped his fingers off after another meat snack when Morgan made a statement. The half Sephi stared at him for a moment, knowing clearly what he meant.

“Okay,” Instead he moved to abruptly plop down on Morgan’s lap with his broader and much heavier frame, completely and utterly blocking his view. Emryc had a shit eating grin on his face as he tormented Morgan for a few seconds before swinging his legs up on the couch and laying back to drape himself across Morgan’s lap instead. His head rested on the opposite armrest and he used the Force to pull the bowl of snacks to his stomach, setting it down for them both.

Morgan looked over at his boyfriend with an expression of admixed amusement and concern when he started struggling with a bit of carrot. The prince had a habit of dancing around certain things and finding himself embarrassed by some of the sweeter or more intimate things Emryc said, but sometimes he stepped in close and was quite straight to the point. It probably helped that the half-Sephi encouraged him to communicate in a more straight forward fashion and it was something he was growing more comfortable with.

Even if he still sometimes went gold about it.

Unlike the other man Morgan showed his amusement by smiling and laughing that trilling laugh of his. He was used to Emryc not laughing much but the occasional glance over confirmed he was enjoying himself.

Golden eyes turned fully to look at Emryc when he stood and, instead of lifting him up and placing him in his lap as he'd wanted, squished him under the larger man's frame. "Oof- Hey!" he complained and then failed to stifle a laugh, pushing at him a little to get him to move. "Emryyyc!" Morgan was considering a play-bite to protest his inability to see when Emryc adjusted himself into a lounging position. The prince gave him a resigned look.

"Close enough." While it wasn't what he'd wanted it did give him the ability to shamelessly both feed Emryc snacks from the bowl with one hand and pet lovingly through his hair with the other. This was a new thing, having his boyfriend in his lap instead of the other way around, but it was somehow still very nice.

The petting stopped after a little while and Morgan looked deeply thoughtful, not really watching the holoscreen or paying much attention to other things.

"What do you think of Cloud City?"
