Planet: Bacrana
Location: Expansion Region
Coordinates: O-14

Theme Song

As the sector capital of the Brak sector approximatelly twenty light years from the Corellian Run, Bacrana seemed like a decent place to refuel and resupply Felix's ship. Unlike their final destination of Coruscant, the planet and its system had a history of repelling imperial influences and removing imperial control. Bacrana contained a population of approximately 1.5 billion, Type I breathable atmosphere, and boasted a temperate climate with standard gravitational strength. Terrain was primarily composed of plans, mountains, and oceans. All in all, the planet's features were similar to Naboo in many ways.

During the time spent in hyperspace between Naboo and Bacrana, Khelsea and Felix discussed many different topics from life goals to ship design. The combined brainpower of the two business partners led to the creation of blueprints, which Khelsea hoped to use for the construction of her custom made ship later on when she had earned enough credits. An independent construction yard known as Bacrana Shipyards operated in the system, which would be a perfect time to get an opinion and quote on what she hoped would be her future vessel. Khelsea would definitely arrange a meeting with an important member from the Bacrana Shipyards' administration team while she was in the system, and look at her options.

Having discussed the travel plans with Felix, they had agreed to spend a couple days to a week on each system they stopped to resupply on. There they would look for potential leads and sell whatever parts they could, or pick up cheap parts to resell in the future. They had chosen to land in Bacrana's capital citiy of Amma, and soon they would see what the city had in store for them. Having learned a bit about ship maintenance and flying, Khelsea was beginning to become more familiar with Felix's ship and his preferences, as well as more knowledgeable about spacecraft in general. Looking at her partner to see if she had his attention, Khelsea spoke. "Think we're pretty much done restocking now, want to see if there's any credits to be earned out here?"

Having Khelsea along definitely helped Felix with his business decisions. As usual, he used to just go with his gut when it came to making sales. Sometimes, it worked, but it wasn't always the best idea. He had absolutely no marketing experience at all, and it didn't seem like Khelsea did either, but at least she was a bit more...people smart. With her around, Felix's tendency to make people angry has gone down significantly. Maybe it was because he was becoming more honest. People seemed to like it when he acted more genuine. Whatever it was, he had to keep doing it, because it was working. Their next stop happened to be Bacrana. Felix didn't expect to get any leads here as far as where Nia was, but it could be a nice place for them to sell more parts, as Khelsea had suggested. This was the pattern so far as they made their way toward Coruscant. The search for Nia was still coming up completely dry, and Felix was still going by his instincts. Coruscant was probably not the safest destination, but that was where he felt like he needed to go now.

Speaking of his instincts, Felix recently began to feel a bit weird about them. It wasn't that he didn't trust it, obviously. It was just...strange. As he paid more attention when he was drawing out the blueprints with Khelsea, it was an almost similar feeling. It started to bother him because he never really noticed before. Is it really just Felix's instincts? Was it that simple? He honestly couldn't think of anything else, but he was pretty sure it wasn't normal. As they stopped on Bacrana, he began to wonder about it. His attention wasn't exactly on anything else, so when Khelsea spoke to him, he only heard half of what she said. He looked slightly confused, but only for a second.

"There's credits to be earned here?" He chuckled. "Khelsea, there's credits to be earned anywhere as long as I'm around!" He grinned, attempting to hide any indication that he was thinking about something else earlier. After they landed in Amma, he opened up the door on the back of the ship and quickly made his way out. "The real question is...where to start?"

Traveling in a small ship for an expended period of time was uncomfortable, but at least there was enough for Khelsea to have privacy. Making their way away from Naboo, Khelsea and Felix continuously made pit stops at different planets to look around for any trace of Nia, as well sell Felix's goods. It had been a gradual process, but Felix had listened to her ideas and the pair had begun to start accumulating a nice amount of credits for each of them. Sales or business transactions usually happened with Felix talking, since he knew much more than Khelsea did. If he managed offend someone or Khelsea felt that she could help, she would interject and try to smooth things out. So far, sales had been going better than she thought they would. and she also had a chance to occasionally practice and brush up on her knowledge of Bocce - a common language for traders.

By quoting the low supply of certain parts to potential customers, Felix was now able to justify selling products for ridiculous prices. At the beginning of their partnership, Khelsea had insisted that they quote the price of items at a reasonable 10-20% profit margin from the retail price. However, they would convince customers that the goods will only be sold for a premium because of a variety of reasons. It helped avoid negative repercussions, since customers knew that they were paying more than the usual amount and did so willingly, rather than feeling swindled afterward. Recently, they had discussed offering installations or repairs as well as just parts, and had begun implementing this. With Felix's abilities to fix things quickly and properly, the service fee customers paid was literally 'easy money'.

Despite uncomfortable living conditions, Khelsea was pleased with the way business was slowly blooming. The last sale had been the epitome of how well things were going for her. During their last pit stop, Felix had located a family who were traveling but had hyperdrive problems. After discussing the problem and looking over their ship, they had agreed to a fee of twenty-five hundred credits for the repairs, and another four thousand credits for the parts needed. While Felix stayed in the hangar and worked on repairs, the children had started complaining about their hunger. Leaving Felix to do his job, Khelsea escorted the family to a nice restaurant and stayed there with them until their ship was ready. Not only did she get paid to sit around and chat, she also had her meal paid for by the family who was very grateful to have found someone who could help them. Feeling guilty about sitting around and doing nothing, Khelsea brought back a gigantic portion of take-out from the restaurant for Felix, paying for it out of her own pocket. The only thing she regretted about the entire situation was that she didn't really plan on going to Coruscant. It was infested by Sith and very likely impossible for her to even get near the planet without being captured and killed. However, she didn't want to ruin the improvement in Felix's mood nor did she want to stop working as his business partner, especially with the ways things had been going recently.

Not too concerned about Felix being lost in thought because she was used to him spacing out, especially if they were on the topic of his missing sister. "Felix, having you around is like having a money tree. Can you believe the amount people pay for service?" Khelsea thought for a moment, recollecting their usual routine when they landed on a planet. "Well, lets pay for the refueling and then either the market or the hangars and find out where the hottest place for rumors are. And then we can come back, set up shop, and look for sales? Or we can split up and see what we can find, and if we need each other we have comlinks for that. Up to you mister!"

Felix silently nodded at what Khelsea was saying, but again, he was only half-listening. He didn't even realize that she was asking him for his opinion on the matter. He seriously thought that she was suggesting that they would go to the hangars, the markets, and wherever the rumors were while simultaneously splitting up and sticking together. It made absolutely no sense, but he was rolling with it, because that's what he thought Khelsea was saying. He was still thinking about the whole instinct thing. What was it telling him now? Nothing, really. All that he knew was that they needed to get to Coruscant for whatever reason. While they were stopped here, he didn't feel like anything was going to happen. No matter where they went, they probably weren't going to get any leads on where Nia was. However, they still needed to sell their parts, and this place could still work out in that regard. The markets was the only logical place to go unless they were aiming to repair ships or something. It wasn't like they had a surplus of parts, so Felix didn't really know what to do first. He wasn't even going to point out what he thought Khelsea was saying.

Before they went anywhere, though, he needed to get her input on what was bothering him. He stood there for quite a while, debating if he even wanted to talk about it. He was afraid of opening up to someone about what he was thinking. He felt that it would make him look weaker, or something. But if they were going to be traveling together, he'd have to tell her at some point, otherwise it'd only bother him even more. He turned toward her, avoiding eye contact as best he could. "Can I ask you something?" He began. "And don't tell anyone what I'm about to say! I have a reputation to uphold, you know. It's just...something's been..." He closed his mouth, finding that it was harder to talk about than he first thought. "Bothering me..." He didn't want to say anything until she said she was fine with it, but he also didn't want to wait much either. He was having a hard time coming up with a way to word this. "It's about our trip. I mean, nothing's wrong with traveling with you or anything, it's just...how I've been feeling like I had to go to Naboo, and now with Coruscant. It's just weird. I was just wondering if it's really just my instincts or something. I don't know."

"Can I ask you something?"

Thinking that Felix was asking a normal question, Khelsea responded to him nonchalantly while trying to figure out her plans for Bacrana. "Sure, what did you want to ask about?"

Taken by surprise at Felix's nervousness, Khelsea examined his face as she thought about what could be troubling her business partner. It couldn't have been Nia, since he had slowly opened up on the subject of his missing sister. It wasn't like him to willingly show weakness, and as they spent more time together Khelsea started noticing that Felix would do almost anything to save his reputation. She had saw past his facade ever since the first day they met, but Khelsea had never called him out on it. It would be better for him to feel comfortable around her, especially since she had something to hide too - her membership in the Jedi Order. Khelsea could tell that Felix was uncomfortable, he avoided making eye contact and stuttered a lot more than usual.

As Felix finally got what he wanted to say out, Khelsea looked intently at his face and tried to formulate a coherent response. Firstly, she was not going to go to Coruscant. It was the finest planet in the galaxy at one point, but now it was just the planet that was first purged of all life via the Force and then heaviliy bombarded, and finally turned into a Sith playground. A place like that was not meant for normal people, let alone a Jedi padawan. As for his instincts, could Felix be referring to the Force? His Force signature indicated he would likely be Force sensitive, but if it was due to his lack of training in the Force, then he would need the guidance of other Force sensitive beings. However, letting him know she was a Jedi would be dangerous. She trusted Felix, mostly. But being sold out wasn't a risk worth taking, so she would observe for now, until the time was right. If that time did come.

For now, she would brush off both questions, and redirect his attention elsewhere. There was nothing else she could do, since she didn't want to reveal her identity nor did she want to reveal her intention of not going into Sith space. Maybe if she could really trust him one day, then they could sit down and talk. Either way, the conversation will eventually happen as they made their way closer to the Inner Rim. "Instincts or something else? What do you mean?" Khelsea thought about which tone of voice to use, and decided to choose a pitiful tone. "Are you suggesting I mind controlled you or did something similar? You aren't blaming me for not doing enough work right? I know you end up doing all the repairs and installations when people buy services from us, but it's only because you're so much more knowledgeable and hundreds of times better than me at those things. And I try my best to learn, I've been doing maintenance on your ship adequately haven't I? I also manage to find you people to sell parts or services to, most of the time..."

Felix's eyebrows raised when she answered him, surprised at what she was saying. He did mention that it didn't have anything to do with what she was doing, right? And what was that about mind control? He never really thought that Khelsea would be the type of person to joke around in this kind of situation. Felix wasn't always the most serious person in the galaxy, but he thought that it was obvious he was being serious now. Besides, it's not just anyone he'd open up to like this; he considered Khelsea his friend as well as his business partner. Maybe she didn't see Felix the same way. Maybe everything was just supposed to be about business and finding Nia. He wasn't exactly sure what to think in this situation. Perhaps some more clarification was needed...

He wondered why she brought up mind control in the first place. It was rather ridiculous. "No, that's not it," He said. "I'm serious here. Besides, only Jedi can do that, can't they? And you're not a Jedi." He thought that if she were, she would have told him by now, at least. He figured that being a Jedi wasn't an easy secret to keep, but she didn't really seem the type anyway. Felix pictured Jedi as wearing robes and meditating in temples or something, not traveling around with someone to sell droid parts or whatever. "And you're doing fine. Besides, I've felt like this before I even met you. That's why I went to Naboo in the first place. I sort of felt the same when I worked on my ship, but I'm not sure how to describe it..." He didn't know why he was trying when he assumed that she wasn't even taking this seriously. It wasn't worth it. "Actually, nevermind. Forget I said anything." He put his hands in hiss pockets and began to make his way out of the hangar, still not sure where he was going to go. He made a mental note to keep any more personal things to himself.

While Felix dropping the subject was the outcome she had anticipated, Khelsea wasn't entirely pleased with how the conversation went. He seemed to feel like she either didn't take or him seriously or she didn't care. Neither was the case, but what could she do? It wasn't like she could tell him the truth. He knew her name, and if Felix decided to sell her out, it wouldn't be hard to track down her family as well. Unhappy with how things turned out, Khelsea allowed Felix to drop the topic for the time being.

They went out and performed business as usual, but it wasn't quite as fun and smooth as usual. They had been working and traveling together for a few weeks now, but never had Khelsea felt such a large gap between them. Heading back to the ship in the evening to get some rest for the night, Khelsea decided to open her datapad and reply to her friend Kai. She had been exchanging messages sporadically with the younger boy, since she wasn't always able to connect to the HoloNet depending on her location. She had received a message from Kai a few days ago, but hadn't bothered to reply. Sorely needing someone to talk to and discuss things with, she typed up a message to Kai before sleeping.

Kai,
Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I've been busy. We just stopped at the Brak system, and we'll probably be here for about a week.
There's something on my mind and I don't really have anyone to discuss it with, and I need your advice.
It really bothers me. I know Jedi are guardians of peace and justice, and seek to improve through knowledge and training.
Well I've definitely learned a lot of new things, but somehow it seems wrong leading Felix towards Coruscant and almost certain doom.
I'm definitely not going to go with him into Sith space, but if he insists on sending himself there what should I do?
I don't want to reveal my identity as a Jedi, and I'm sure I can make up an excuse to leave, but I owe him more than that.
Even if I did tell him the truth, how would he feel to know I've been keeping things from him for so long? How would you feel?
Felix recently approached me, talking about his instincts, and how he feels about the trip.
Short summary of the conversation: He feels like his instincts are guiding him. They guided him to Naboo, and now to Coruscant.
I pretty much brushed him off by making a joke about mind controlling him, and now he seems a lot more distant than before.
To be honest, I'm almost sure he's Force sensitive. He's definitely had no training though.
I'm pretty sure this message is incoherent. I just typed whatever random thoughts I had.
Sorry to bother you, and thanks for reading my rant.
-Khels

Khelsea let her thoughts run freely as she fell asleep, and woke up remembering the last thing she thought about was how much of a burden it was to keep so much of her life a secret from her only companion. During the time after she sent the message, Khelsea tried her hardest to come up with a solution that would be mutually beneficial to both her and Felix. She tried to be as nice to him as possible, but things weren't the same as usual. It took a two standard days before Kai responded to her message, and she opened the message at the first opportunity she had.

Hey!
Hope you're feeling better and things are going well.
You've been with him for a lengthy period of time now. What do you think he would do if he found out?
Maybe try to convince him not to run to his death, and help him avoid the dark side first?
If he's still adamant about throwing his life don't tell him anything.
But if he seems reasonable and receptive of your opinion then then let him know!
-Kai

Everything Kai said seemed reasonable. Answering his question in her head, Khelsea determined that Felix was too much of a wuss to do much to her. Especially if he found out that she was a Jedi. Besides, she wouldn't just start off a conversation by tell him she was a Jedi. She would do as her friend suggested, and try to talk him out of his suicidal trip to Coruscant first. That was her duty as a Jedi, to protect the innocent by ultimately respecting and defending Felix's life. He had made her much more knowledgeable on topics such as flying, ship maintenance, and ship design; not to mention he had given her the opportunity to experience the different facets of running a business. She owed it to him not only as a Jedi, but as a friend and a benefactor of his generosity.

Waiting till Felix wasn't busy, Khelsea approached him before they set out for the day. "Felix." Not sure how to begin even what she considered to be an awkward conversation, she waited until her business partner acknowledged her. It almost felt like she was breaking up with someone. When Felix finally looked up at her, Khelsea continued talking. "Uh, I know we're here on Bacrana for maybe up to a week still, but can we discuss why you want to go to Coruscant? I'm sorry I didn't take you seriously last time. I guess I was too insensitive, but I don't really understand your... feeling or instincts thing that you mentioned. I mean, it doesn't make sense to go to Coruscant. The Sith reportedly purged every single life-form they could find on the planet, and it's surface is burnt to a crisp from heavy bombardment. I mean, it wouldn't make sense to go there... unless you're an ally of the Sith Empire?" Khelsea let her voice trail off there, not wanting to mention that even if his instincts were right and Nia was on the planet, it would mean that his sister was either a Sith, friendly to the Sith Imperium, or dead. It was also a good place to stop talking, to see how Felix would respond to the idea of traveling to a Sith planet. She looked at Felix, hoping he would accept her apology and that they could rearrange their destination and maybe move on to discussing her identity. After that, there was the possibility that she could even help him with what the Force was guiding him to do.

After Felix had decided to stay quiet, they both seemed to have this mutual agreement on silence. It wasn't exactly what Felix had planned, or even what he wanted. It just...happened. It was a bit of a heavy blow when someone he respected seemed to just shrug him off. He wasn't even sure if that's how Khelsea felt. Maybe she was just confused at what he was saying, or didn't know how to respond to him being serious for once. At least the distance got him to think about it. Should he have gone about it a different way? Maybe he shouldn't have dumped everything on her all at once. As he kept thinking about it, he felt slightly distracted from his work, and ended up cutting the wrong wire on someone's ship. He had to repair a lot more than he anticipated and not charge the client for the mess-up. He already had enough angry customers to deal with, but at least things were quieting down on that end.

For the next couple of days, Felix went about his business like he did when he was on his own, minus the swindling unsuspecting customers part. He didn't even know if the other guys were still looking for him, but it'd be best not to give them any pointers or additions to their little team. That was the other thing. What were they really after? At a time when the day was winding down, Felix found himself back by his ship with nothing else to do except arrange the next droid parts to sell, which was a little unlike him. He was never very organized with his stuff, but things usually went a bit more smoothly when he was. At least it was something to keep him occupied when he was bored. While he was arranging these parts, Khelsea finally approached him. He looked up at her, a bit surprised that she was speaking with him first. She wondered why he wanted to go to Coruscant when it was Sith space, and rightly so. Sith didn't exactly have a reputation for being good people, and Felix was aware that it could be dangerous. His reasoning for going to Coruscant was the same as when he went to Naboo. He felt like he needed to go, because his sister would be there...right? There was nothing actually telling him where Nia would be; he just assumed that's what it meant.

"Now that I think about it..." Felix began. "Wherever I went, I just had a strong feeling that Nia would be there, but she never was. But I always found people that tried to help me one way or another. Maybe that's what it is." He knew it sounded ridiculous, but he had no other way of describing it. When Khelsea brought up Felix being an ally of the Sith Empire, he snickered a bit. Him...a Sith. The thought was almost hilarious to the point of Felix bursting out laughing. But he restrained. This was serious, and he needed to be serious. "N-No. No, no, no. I'm no Sith, or an ally of them. Coruscant just felt like another destination like Naboo did, you know?"

It was a delicate situation, given how Felix had reacted last time. However, Khelsea knew she had to tread carefully and be gentle with her words. What may seem like simple logic to her could be an entirely different story for Felix, because no individual had the same opinion about everything. Besides, Khelsea knew that if it was her brother that was missing, she'd likely be less reasonable about things as well. "Well I don't mean to be harsh, but like you said, Nia was never where you felt she was. I am glad we met each other though, even with the circumstances as strange as they were when we met."

Not wanting to upset Felix, Khelsea thought of how best to continue on the subject. There really was no way around the facts, and it was best for Felix to know them sooner rather than later. "Take it for what it's worth, but I am a hundred percent against going to Coruscant. I don't know if you still consider me a friend or how you see me anymore, but honestly where you want to go would be more like committing suicide and taking the easy way out instead of continuing to live and be strong for your sister. Even if you don't find her now, maybe she'll show up later. If you're dead though, then..." Khelsea let her words sink in without finishing her sentence, leaving Felix to ponder the possibilities. She sighed, and put her arm around Felix's shoulders. She felt his uncertainty through the Force, and wanted to make her point as clear as possible so her friend wouldn't do something regrettable. "Look, I'm not trying to be super negative about things, and I really want you to find your sister. But the way I see it, traveling to Coruscant is illogical. Especially since you said you're no ally of the Sith. They're not stupid, and they definitely wouldn't be welcoming. And I care about you and your well-being. If you don't want to discuss this right now, then we can talk about something else, but I just wanted to let you know what I was thinking."

Since Felix hadn't said anything, Khelsea considered asking him about his opinion on the Jedi. "Also, since you aren't fond of the Sith ruling the galaxy, do you support the Jedi then? Or would you consider yourself more or less indifferent towards both parties?"

Everything Khelsea said made sense. Since Coruscant was deep within Sith territory, it was dangerous to go there at all. Felix was no stranger to getting out of sticky situations, but getting away from the Sith was a completely different story. As far as he knows, he's never met a Sith, and didn't know how well he'd fare against one. But if it were so risky, Felix began to wonder why he felt like he needed to go there in the first place. The chances of Nia being there were pretty low from what he could tell. There was no way she'd be working with the Sith Empire, is there? Now, he felt that he needed to find her even more, to learn the truth. He considered what Khelsea had said for a while, crossing his arms and trying to think. Going to Coruscant now was out of the question, but he didn't know where else to go. He wasn't sure if he liked the idea of traveling the galaxy aimlessly. There never were any planets that Nia spoke fondly of either, so there were no leads on that.

"Where do you think we should go, then?" He asked. Even though Khelsea didn't know anything about Nia at all, he still trusted her judgment. At least whatever she would suggest wouldn't get either of them killed. Or, that was what he hoped. Even the "safer" planets still had some trouble, as Felix has experienced himself. When she brought up the Jedi, Felix wasn't entirely sure how to respond. He didn't know a whole lot about them, but from what he's heard about the Sith, the Jedi seemed...nicer, at least. He'd always pictured the Jedi meditating in some temple out in the middle of nowhere and occasionally helping people. He'd never actually met one or made an effort to, but he didn't really dislike them. He brought a hand up to his chin, trying to think of what it would be like if the Jedi were in charge. But the truth was, he didn't know. "Well, I guess...the Jedi aren't bad from what I've heard. I've never actually met one, but my parents would talk about how they'd help people and stuff." He shrugged. "They didn't really seem to like the Sith, though. So, just from what I know, the Jedi sound nicer." He began to wonder why she brought up whether he liked the Jedi more. Maybe she supported the Jedi and didn't want to travel with someone who didn't. As if Felix would have a reason for siding with the Sith. The thought was a little ridiculous.

"I don't know. That depends on what you want to do with your life." It was honestly the best answer Khelsea could give to Felix when he asked where they should go. There was a lot of systems they could travel to, but in her mind Khelsea was convinced there was little to no chance that Nia would ever be found. As for Felix's feelings, maybe it was the Force guiding him. There had been stories of Force sensitive individuals who were untrained and didn't know of their talents, and perhaps Felix was such an individual. He seemed to favor the Jedi over the Sith, which was encouraging. Khelsea thought about how to bring this specific subject up and now that she had the opportunity she wouldn't give it up so quickly.

"Well, what do you know about the Jedi and the Sith? Or what did your parents tell you about the Jedi when you were younger?" Khelsea paused, wondering how far she should go with her questions. Remembering that it wasn't an easy topic to bring up, she decided to pursue the matter further. From what Felix had said, he had a good impression of the Jedi in general. Waiting for his respond, she continued their dialogue until she had a chance to ask another question. "What about the Jedi then? You said that they help people. Would you be open to getting help from them maybe?" Another few minutes passed as they continued discussing Felix's beliefs and understanding of the Jedi. Maybe what Khelsea was about to do would be risky, but at this point she was convinced that even if Felix connected the dots and figured her identity out, he wouldn't turn her in. Besides, Khelsea was sure she could disarm and get away from Felix fast enough if he decided to get aggressive, but having been with the young man for a lengthy period of time she knew he wasn't that kind of person. "Speaking of helping people, what do you think of me so far. I'm just curious, since we haven't found your sister yet... Is there anything you're displeased with?" She wasn't sure if she wanted Felix to know she was a Jedi, but allowing Felix to compare herself and the Jedi would not only give her a report card of sorts, but maybe even open a door into further conversation. She wanted to bring up the 'feelings' that Felix had been following, and she was sure he was unaware of his Force sensitivity.

Felix could only shrug slightly when he heard her questions about the Jedi. As he had been thinking before, he didn't know anything aside from what his parents told him and from what random bits he heard here and there. Even the random bits weren't a whole lot, since the Jedi usually weren't a big part of conversation on Nar Shaddaa. They always had other things to worry about other than whatever the Jedi were doing. Even though Felix had never met a Jedi, his parents did speak highly of them. The same was not true for the Sith, however. Felix never understood why his parents talked about them, but they stressed how terrible the Sith could be, although they normally told those stories a bit more discreetly. Felix sat down on the floor and picked up a small droid part, fiddling with it as he tried to think of an answer to her questions.

"They talked about the Jedi a lot, even though we only owned a small droid store," He finally replied. He chuckled a bit and looked down at the droid part as he turned it in his hands. "They even said that I should seek help from them if I'm ever in trouble. The Sith, on the other hand...they told me to stay away form them." Once Khelsea asked her questions about how he thought of her, he looked up at her curiously. He wasn't sure why she was asking that. Other than their...disagreement or whatever a couple of days ago, he didn't think he acted like he disliked her. He set the droid part in his lap and looked up toward the wall opposite of him, piecing together his answer. Sure, they hadn't found his sister yet, but it'd be exactly the same as when he was by himself. At least with Khelsea around, the business kicked off. Things certainly weren't worse than how they were before. "Nothing I'm displeased with. You're doing fine, seriously. It's not your fault that my sister is hard to find."

She watched him as he played with the droid part.

"Well your parents sound like wise people, so why don't we stay away from the Sith? It'll probably benefit you, and it'll definitely benefit me." Khelsea decided to continue the conversation on, and use the topic of Felix's 'feelings'. "Well, you know what you were saying about your feelings right? And how they led you do certain things or go to certain places? It sounds similar to what the Jedi do. They act on their beliefs, and their feelings. What if you had the potential to become a Jedi? Is that something you'd consider doing?" Khelsea could tell the Force flow through Felix, and from the previous times shes had observed him and through meditation she knew and felt that Felix was Force sensitive.

Khelsea sat down next her friend, and looked at Felix with an inquisitive face. She hoped to lead him to his own conclusion rather than telling him what she thought he should do. If things worked out, that would be ideal. But if it didn't, at least Khelsea wouldn't have to face Felix's wrath again. All she knew was that it was worth it to spend time and try to talk Felix into doing something with his life instead of throwing it away by flying straight into the center of Sith territory.

Felix had to think on her words for a long while. What would he do? Only Jedi have those kinds of skills, and he didn't have any. Or maybe that's not how it worked. Despite all of the stories he's heard, he was really clueless on the subject. If he had the potential to become a Jedi, though...would he join them? The Jedi were helpful and kind, but Felix wasn't really any of those things. Still, he felt like he could learn a lot from it, and he was told that he could go to them if he needed help, which he does. Considering that Nia's life could be in danger, Felix might be willing to do anything. But as Khelsea had pointed out to him before, he needed to be smart about this.

"If I had the potential," He began, looking up toward the ceiling. "Yeah, I'd probably do it. I don't know a lot about them, but I can trust them. And maybe then, I'd be able to help Nia in whatever trouble she got in." Were the feelings that he had actually the "talent" that he had heard about before? It all seemed like a dream, but maybe it wasn't so farfetched. Still, Felix had a hard time picturing the Jedi. If he did have the potential and he did join them, would he be cut out to do it? But the only way to find out was to do it.

Khelsea waited as Sebby thought about what she had just told him. Minutes passed, and eventually he spoke. He seemed to struggle but his answer was what she wanted to hear. Firstly he would agree to no longer go to Coruscanr, and secondly he was also willing to give the Jedi a chance. All that remained was to let him know that she was a Jedi.

"Well if you're willing to seek out the Jedi for help and to join them, we can go there instead?" Khelsea took a few minutes to look over starmaps and do a few calculations. "We can continue doing this as planned, and after we leave here we will make a few stops before reaching the Jedi. How does that sound?" After all that, she still hasn't told him about her identity.

Going to the Jedi sounded like a way better idea than going straight into Sith territory with Coruscant. Khelsea seemed to know where the Jedi were, but they were never a very open group. That's the impression that Felix got, anyway. From what Felix has heard, the Jedi have been known to lay low, especially when Sith territory is growing. Maybe Khelsea knew someone from the Jedi Order, and that's how she knew? She did sound rather knowledgeable about how they operated, or Felix could just be the clueless one as usual. As long as they were able to make it to the Jedi, Felix wouldn't think on it too much. He stood up and headed over to the controls at the front of the ship, prepping it for takeoff. He was more than ready to leave. He was planning on meeting up with the Jedi, then looking for Nia again.

"Sounds fine to me!" Felix said. "Just tell me where to go."

It was going well so far, and Felix seemed have positive feelings towards the Jedi. In fact, he was so ready to leave that he began to pack everything up and prepare for takeoff already.

Khelsea watched as Felix went to prepare for takeoff. "Oh. I thought stick with our original plan, and finish our business here first." She followed him into the cockpit. "And there's something you may or may not what to know about me." Taking a deep breath, she finally said what was on her mind. "I'm a Jedi." She wasn't sure how Felix would react, but all Khelsea knew was that at least he had a good impression of them. As far as she knew, she hadn't done anything to tarnish Felix's impression on the Jedi.

As far as Felix was concerned, they had spent long enough on this planet. He was somewhat eager to meet a Jedi, even if they had to stop a few times before meeting one. He was sure that they'd be willing to help, and if there was anything he could do, that would be even better. The ship roared to life as he flipped the switches in the cockpit, but before he sat down and took off, he turned to Khelsea when she mentioned something else that she needed to tell him. However, Felix had not prepared himself for what she had to say. He stopped everything he was doing and stared at her, wide-eyed. He was traveling with an actual Jedi this entire time? And he had no idea? At least that explained how she knew so much about them, but still. Felix was speechless for a long while, frozen in place. His mouth eventually dropped open.

"You're a Jedi," He said in disbelief. He trusted her completely at this point, but it still came as a shock to him. He then laughed. "I...wow. I never expected that." He didn't really know what to say besides that. He didn't resent her for not telling him, he was just so surprised that he didn't know how to react. He simply sat down in front of the controls and decided to start lift off. "So...where to?"

Despite her protests, Felix began to lift off. They were going to leave the Bacrana system, but Khelsea made sure to make a visit to Bacrana Shipyards with Felix before leaving the Bacrana system and the Expansion Region. At the shipyards, they discussed and negotiated the production of a ship designed by Khelsea and Felix while they were traveling in hyperspace. In the end, they agreed on a fee and would notify Khelsea when her custom-built ship was ready. The blueprints were kept by Khelsea, who would have the option of returning to Bacrana and producing additional ships if she wished to. It would be weeks before the ship would be ready for her, and Khelsea would bring Felix to the Jedi in the meantime. He might find Nia later in his travels, but he would have to be trained first. Besides, the Jedi could use someone such as Felix. He knew lots about ships and maintenance, and with training he could perhaps join their ranks one day. Seeing the current situation, that day might happen sooner rather than later.

The system of Bacrana slowly became miniature, and as they entered hyperspace it became a dot of light in the distance. The pair would make hyperspace jumps and end up in several systems, but their final destination was the planet Lamaredd in the Lamaro System in the Outer Rim.

Felix and Khelsea made their way through the galaxy, spending the better part of another month before finally arriving at the Lamaro system. They had made a short detour to the DSC Daedalus and done more business along the way, filling up both of their pockets. More importantly, they discussed the Jedi and Khelsea gave Felix a few tips on how to control his 'feelings', as well as went over the Jedi code and let him know what to expect as a Jedi. She hadn't been a Jedi for long, but she tried her best to help her new friend and business partner. Finally, they landed and Felix was introduced to the members of the Jedi who were there when they arrived.
