Character: Xylonic

link: http://www.thestarwarsrp.com/forum/showthread.php?58255-Xylonic

background: As a child xylonic had been brought into the sith after he killed his own father after he had become upset after accidentally firing off his fathers blaster. the neighbors tho heard the shot called security and xylonic was thought to have shot his father. xylonic was taken to prison on account of being at the scene of a crime and he was later visited in his cell by a sith who offered xylonic his freedom for servitude. at first xylonic had no want to join the with even though he was born on the sith world but when he was offered a chance to get out of the wreck he was in he jumped at the opportunity to the sith so xylonic agreed to the terms and went on to become sith.after showing prowess with a training saber xylonic was allowed to wield his own lightsaber where he made a red duel phase saber and later made a purple double bladed saber with duelphase settings. he first enroled in getting a master and then enrolled into a soresu class where he learned the ultimate defencive form. he also spent his time searching for a master who could teach him the form of balance and accuracy known as makashi but he came up empty handed so he began to look for sources depicting the form and began to study it on his own but still needed a master to further his knowledge.

Personality: Xylonic is very stubborn and believe what he thinks is right. he also has a soft spot for his famiuly but when his family is threaten he goes into a full blown rage and will attack the ones who threaten his family. if he is the reason his family dies he then blames himself and his hate grows stronger.

Goal: Xylonics goal is to become a master of form 2 makashi or form 3 soresu and a master of no energenic force based attacks like force choke. as energenic force techniques like force lightning would destroy his cybernetic pieces in his body. xylonic is also very agile and looks to build up his physical body and his mental strengths.

A Warrior using Makashi? That's a first O.o

You probably won't be accepted until your bio and personality reach the 50 word minimum, so I've left some tips on your profile ;)

50 is the bare minumum, and is still, as I said, nowhere near large enough to fully describe a character's life or personality. I still doubt you will be accepted with your profile as bare as it is. 300-400 in my opinion, should be the minimum.

As for the lightsaber form. Sith Warriors generally prefer stronger, more vicious styles designed for taking on multiple opponents on a battlefield. Djem So, Soresu, and sometimes Juyo and Ataru are the popular choices for Warriors. I assume your character is a Warrior-class Sith? BUT I'm honestly a noob when it comes to saber styles and powers.

Good luck with that. Hope you have more luck with finding a master than the rest of us acolytes.

In my profile comments it was pointed out that Count Doiku used Makashi. My sith uses Vaapad so it isn't completely unheard of to break the sith mold. If there are no masters with the style then I encourage this guy and myself to work hard and become the master of the forms and then we will be the teachers. It will take a lot of work.

Correct. It is also not unheard of that acolytes work with other acolytes to increase their abilities (like in group training threads). My first Sith character knows Makashi and I chose it specifically because it was different. Actually, it was my second choice. You don't have to have a master necessarily to train in the technique, but a crusader who has a higher level than what you know can help as well. They're quite a bit of Makashi users here, so don't be afraid to ask somebody to duel or do some type of training. You can always start a thread, PM, or VM requesting either.

Finding a "Sith Master" in particular will be kind of hard, since the ones that are active aren't taking any apprentices (that I know of). The best you can do now is to sign up for classes and hope for admittance. Just remember, never be afraid to gain ask. Missions can also be done for RP and can get you closer to becoming a crusader.
