A bass-toned and fairly expressively vocabulated voice rumbled through earpieces as the War Master’s speech was rendered in Basic, his words direct and terse but not unkind as he laid out objectives. This operation was too sensitive for holographic communication.

“Your objective is the main docking platform. You need to disable as many ships as possible to cripple their ability to respond to space operations. Clip the wings on their reinforcements and then go to ground until the cavalry arrives.”

The Wookiee’s transmission paused for a moment.

“Make it as quiet or as loud as you like. A big bang at the heart of their city would be flashy and would shake them, but a silent takedown of their capabilities would suit as well.”

The Sith Master Tavek Aldir listened to the transmission from their War Master. They had an interesting choice ahead of them, and Tavek was more than ready for it. He flexed his gloved hand, adjusting to the feeling of the DG-10s he was now wearing. His Sith sword hung loosely at his side and his sabers were at the back of his belt, hidden beneath his robes. Things were going to become chaos soon enough, and he wanted to be ready.

In addition to his regular equipment, he had a bag hanging over his shoulder that contained numerous explosive devices primarily for their ships they were here to sabotage. He ran his hands over his gear one final time as his mind ran through the dozen troops that had spread out throughout the docking area. They were handpicked by Tavek for this operation and were primarily dressed in basic clothes to blend in with backpacks filled with explosives and concealed weapons.

All right, everyone. You all know your jobs. Get them done and get out, he said into his com, glancing around the docking port from the viewport of the ship he was using as a command station for the time being.

He turned a moment later to the young Sith next to him. I say we stay quiet until we can't. Have a nice "boom" at the end, watch the fireworks, and let someone else clean up the mess, he said. It was just his sort of operation: one where lots of things blew up, lots of people died, and he didn't have to deal with any of the clean up. He liked it. That meant it was only time to wait for his partner to get ready. @Yuan

Sina crouched on the floor a little ways behind Tavek, going through her own gear as well, in preparation for the upcoming assault. Though, she supposed "assault" wasn't really the appropriate word for the action. More like incursion? That might be a more apt name for the event. After all, for an action like the one they were about to perform, stealth and subterfuge would be the most effective way to achieve their goals. But, then, the war master had made it known in his little brief that they had free reign to operate as they saw fit, so long as they accomplished their goal of shutting down any reinforcements for the Pyke Fleet up in orbit that was about to have the proverbial 'hammer' dropped on them by the Imperial Navy. Sina enjoyed having free reign. It left her hands free to have all the fun she wanted. This master she was paired with would likely take the command though. Master Aldir was his name and Sina had never met him before. Sina didn't mind passing the lead over to Master Aldir. She just hoped he didn't have the imperial stick shoved up his rear. Some of those political-types in the Empire could be a real buzz kill.

Given the broad nature of their orders, Sina had come stocked and loaded as far as her gear was concerned. A bag of explosives just like Aldir's sat on the ground next to her. Also hugging her lower back were two breeching charges of her own that she had brought along for convenience. One could never have too many explosives. Tucked into a thigh holster on her right leg was her VZ-1 Steadyshot. The blaster pistol didn't have the range of a rifle, but with it's collapsible stock, it provided higher accuracy at mixed ranges than the average hand-blaster. Clasped to her belt on her left side were her twin, curved-hilt lightsabers, of course. She never left him without her babies. In her hands, though was something odd. Sina was currently pulling her Outstrider Compound Bow from it's long case and stinging it, testing the tensity of the string as she did. Many people were perplexed as to why she would have such a primitive weapon in the day and age, but Sina loved her bow. Sina was a biologist, among other things, and she frequently hunted wild game for her research. The silent, yet powerful bow was inexpressibly superior to loud and clumsy blasters and slug-throwers when hunting her prey. She had also found (why she brought it with her on this mission) that it could be highly useful for missions where silence and secrecy were key.

Satisfied that the bow was sturdy and still in good condition (it ought to be with how well she cared for it) Sina collapsed the limbs and tucked the folded bow into a holster on her back over her right shoulder. The quiver, which held all 20 arrows locked in position so as not to spill or rattle, she hooked onto her back waist. She then threw a cloak over the entire ensemble and picked up her bag of explosives, heaving the strap over her shoulder. The bag was pretty heavy, but Devaronians were dense for their size. She wouldn't be thrown off too bad by the weight. Sina didn't wear armor. She believed that it slowed her down. Being a practitioner of Ataru, or Form IV, lightsaber dueling, mobility was of the utmost importance to her. Most of the Sith armor was too bulky for her tastes. She had been considering developing some lighter armor variants for the empire though, if anyone ever took notice of her that is. As Sina completed her preparations, two Y1 Astromech droids rolled up from behind Sina. She held up her hand in a motion for them to halt, and they stopped where they were.

Turning, Sina walked over to where Tavek stood at the viewport. Her thin, armored tail swished about from under her cloak in anticipation, and her red eyes glanced up at Tavek's under the large black horns that seemed to almost ring her head. Horns were common on Devaronian males, but not so much on females, and Sina's seemed to dwarf even a male's horns. The tail was certainly not a known trait of Devaronians. "Sina is prepared for a silent infiltration, Master Aldir. Though if things go awry, Sina is prepared for that as well. Sina is happy to have the Master present for this mission and would be delighted if Master Aldir will take the lead. Sina's powers are less suited for direct-combat than most Sith warriors." Sina stopped and bowed to Tavek. "Sina is in your care, Master."

It didn't escape Tavek's notice that she was packing a bow along for their operation. Mostly, it drew his attention because of the irregularity of it, and also the fact that it was something that he found at least moderately interesting. He had made a lifetime's career out of killing people through stealthy, underhanded means, and it was no secret that bows and slug-throwers were among the tools most useful for that pursuit. He couldn't say that he'd ever carried a bow himself, but he knew a fair it about them. He eyed the tool and the quiver as she slung it over her shoulder, hoping she would manage to keep it concealed in the public eye.

She looked young, and he wondered how many missions like this she had been on before. Was she nervous? He supposed she had been doing this practically since birth if she was already out here. He'd had a similar training regimen once upon a time.

He watched as she bowed to him and he smiled slightly an almost smirking look, but not a malicious one. No need for all that, Sina, he said. There was no way that Tavek of all people could be construed as standing on ceremony. He'd gotten his rank because he was good at what he did, not because he enjoyed playing the political game.

If you don't like direct combat, then let's avoid that, shall we? he said. It suited him just fine. He liked fighting, but his first love was always to hunt and kill from the shadows. We can lay our traps and try to have a bit of fun doing it, he said. How does that sound? he asked as follow up. In the Sith's experience, there were a few types of Sith in the galaxy and he was curious to see which she was. the answer to his question would no doubt tell him a great deal about her, though it wouldn't likely change the way he went about his section of the operation.

He waited for her to answer before turning and heading down the exit ramp and out onto the main floor. People were bustling here, there, and everywhere. Most of them paid no attention to the two Sith now making their way through the port. They were instead focused on unloading their crates, hurrying off to appointments, or tapping away at datapads.

Tavek, on the other hand, noticed everyone. His eyes traveled slowly across the port, nonchalantly taking in the sights of those around him. He tapped a button on his datapad and music began to play in the ear that held the comlink as he made his way into one of the nearby ships. It was devoid of anyone immediately in sight and the Sith Master turned around, glancing at the ramp and standing guard just inside the ship. Would you like to do the honors? he asked, letting her find a place to planet explosives while he ensured no one wandered up the ramp after them. @Yuan

Sina was pleased to hear that Tavek was not one to dwell on formalities. It would make getting along with him much easier. Sina wasn't one to dwell on formalities either. Especially when she got excited. Get her in a laboratory, or a shipyard, or out in the wilds surrounded by dangerous animals and it wouldn't matter if the Empress herself was standing next to her. Sina would start running through data and analysis as though she weren't even there. Other Sith she had worked with and/or for had warned her that this character flaw could get her in trouble one day if she ever sought to ascend to the higher courts, but Sina didn't care. Allowing her mind to run free was like a drug to her. She simply couldn't get enough of it. The only other thing that made her feel intoxicated like that was the dark side of the force itself.

Sina frowned as Tavek continued talking though. It seemed that he had misunderstood her. "No, no. It's not that Sina dislikes direct combat. It's simply that Sina does not trouble herself with learning the basic offensive force powers that other Knights and Masters do. Sina cannot use powers such as Lightening, Heat, or Cold, and her Push and Pull are quite weak!" Sina said all this with a matter-of-fact look on her face, closing her eyes and nodding her head as if it made perfect sense. There was not a bit of remorse in her tone at the lack of such abilities. "Sina does not bother learning these abilities because none have a practical application to Sina's research. They are simply gaudy things that other Sith use to show off. Sina has no need for them." Sina continued on, oblivious to the fact that she might have possibly just insulted Tavek a bit. "Sina instead studies powers that she does find useful for her scientific endeavors. Heal, Drain, Mind Control, Beast Control, Sense, and Illusion. These are all powers Sina is able to use, though some of them do require quite a lot of concentration for Sina to use, so they can be tricky to use in certain situations. Because of this, Sina does not operate in straightforward and dominating combat like most Sith do. But that does not mean she is incapable of direct combat." Sina smiled up at Tavek as though what she had said made perfect sense. Of course, to her, it did. But still, many Sith she had spoken to before found it quite surprising that she had neglected to learn some of the most popular dark side powers in favor of some of the least popular. Sure, Mind Control and Sense were quite common, but Healing and Beast Control were practically unheard of among the Sith.

As Sina looked through the viewport out at the hangars beyond she continued. "Still, the nature of this mission demands that we succeed in destroying a large percentage of the ships stored here, and to do that we need to plant these charges. If we blast our way through, we will not be able to move very quickly, and it is possible that a number of the ships will launch in order to evacuate the facility before we finish our work, so Sina agrees that stealth is the best option to begin with." Sina followed Tavek out the hatch and down the ramp, snapping her fingers as she went. The two little astromechs followed her in line down the ramp and onto the hangar floor where they followed behind the two Sith. As they walked, a terminal port came into view on the wall to their right. Sina made a small gesture with her hand just barely pointing out from under her cloak. "Number 1, access terminal. Access hangar bay door controls." One of the droids turned, peeling off from the rest of them and rolled over to the terminal, plugging it's computer spike into the hole and spinning it back and forth. As they continued walking, Another terminal came into view. Sina motioned again. "Number 2, access terminal. Access ship activation codes." The second droid peeled off same as the first. Sina jogged slightly to catch back up with Tavek as she had fallen slightly behind. She muttered lightly to him so as not to be overheard. "Sina brought them along for this purpose. If we have control of the hangar doors, we can keep their ships from leaving if things go badly. And, if we have the activation codes, we could steal a couple of these ships if we need to make a quick getaway." Sina was good at planning ahead for these kind of things.

They stopped at the first cluster of ships, a squadron of fighters, and Tavek invited Sina to place the first charge on the first ship. Sina's eyes seemed to scan the ship and the other ships around it, flitting back and forth as though she were watching some sort of crazy pingpong game. But in truth, she was analyzing. "This is a Whirlbat starfighter. General Purpose fighter and primary fighter craft used across most of Hutt Space. Composed mostly of Durasteel. 100 MGLT top speed. Carrying two triple blaster cannons and one concussion missile launcher, with a three-round magazine." Sina glanced around the vessel and started moving. There were 6 fighters in this particular squadron, and she moved to the one at the front, middle position. "This is where we should place our charge master." Sina pulled one of the detonators out of her bag and armed it. Moving around the forward base of the ship, she found the missile launch tube and rolled the charge down it, listening to it clink lightly as it hit the missile at the back. "In this position, the charge will detonate, not only destroying the ship, but detonating the 3 warheads within, multiplying the damage exponentially. And, by sabotaging this center fighter, the explosion should carry to the other 5 fighters surrounding it, damaging them as well, at least enough that they won't be able to take off without some level of repair. In this way, by utilizing the explosives already present, we can spread our payload much further than if we were expending one charge per ship. After all, Sina isn't sure how many ships are present at this facility. It is rather large." Sina turned to see if her proposal met Tavek's approval.

There was no indication that Tavek was offended by her words about offensive Force powers. He smiled slightly and suppressed a chuckle, unfazed by her comment. He didn't agree with it, but he also didn't disagree. There was a time and place for everything: science and combat. If she didn't feel the need for the latter, she might find herself in danger someday, but it didn't bother Tavek.

He gave a nod as Sina explained what the astromech droids were doing. He liked it. It was smart and thinking ahead. Good thinking, he stated as she finished. Having an escape plan was good, and it would all make things easier for the pair in the long run.

He stood watch from the exit ramp of the small freighter for a moment and watched her looking around. He began to wonder what she was doing when he made his way back down and heard her talking about the ships. He felt a momentary spike of annoyance mostly rooted in concern over being caught. As he made his way over, he understood and relented, nodding quickly. Okay, let's do it, he agreed as she stated where they should put their charge.

Good work, he said as she asked about the placement and he made his way back toward the other batch of ships. She was just finishing up and he glanced back to make sure everything was going fine. He saw no sign of guards and tapped his fingers lightly and nervously against his belt.

He glanced to the next cluster of fighters, which were similarly set up and slipped a hand into his bag. He wanted to save most of his explosives for the corvette, but he should have plenty if he slipped his charge in here.

The magnetic clamp snapped into place and he pressed a button that set the charge at the ready before slipping onward and back toward Sina. Interceptors, he said, nodding his head lightly toward a pair across the hangar. @Yuan

Sina smiled and nodded to herself as Tavek praised her. It only made sense. Her analysis was perfect and her logic was sound. It only made sense that Tavek should be impressed. But, as Sina prepared herself to accept more of Tavek's praise, she was surprised to see him moving on to plant his own explosives on other ships. Sina frowned to herself. Her genius planning surely deserved more recognition than that. But as she watched Tavek wander off to another ship and place his explosives, she realized that the shock and awe she had been hoping for was not forthcoming. Sticking out her lower lip a bit, Sina followed Tavek along as he rigged the next set of whirlbat fighters to blow.

Sina took note of the fact that there seemed to be no security present as they went about their business. It was quite odd. She slid over next to Tavek as he placed his charge, speaking to him softly. "Sina has not seen any guards or security of any sort really since we started. This is peculiar, is it not? Could it have to do with the other attacks taking place? If Kessel space were obviously under attack, surely there should be pilots rushing here to launch their ships, should there not? And for there to be absolutely no security whatsoever... Sina finds the whole thing quite bizarre."

As Sina finished speaking, her wrist comm-device dinged slightly. Lifting her arm, Sina tapped the screen for a second. "It seems my first droid has found the programming for the hangar door controls. It is still working on reprogramming them so we can access them when we need to. My second droid is having more trouble finding the access codes for the ships. Still, if things continue to go as they currently are, we may not need them."

Sina turned her head in the direction Tavek indicated as he spoke of interceptors. "Hawkbat interceptors. High speed, high maneuverability. A highly effective dogfighter. Likely the strongest fighter in the Syndicate's fleet. An important target for our sabotage." Sina frowned for a moment. "No explosives present on the interceptors. Meaning it will likely take one charge per fighter to ensure total disabling. That's going to use up a lot of our explosives. And leave us even less for that." Sina pointed out the hangar door where the front end of a large ship was visible dry dock next to the hangars. "Orivah-Class Corvette. Four single-mount heavy laser cannon turrets, 3 dual heavy laser cannon turrets, coaxial light ion cannon, military-grade shielding, and the list goes on. Sina thinks that should likely be our top priority. How many detonators do Tavek and Sina have in total?"

Tavek glanced at his bag of charges. He had another nineexplosives himself in his bag and suspected she had similar in hers. Hopefully he'll find the access codes soon, he said, pausing and thinking about the fact that no guards had come by yet. She was right, it was strange, and it put Tavek on edge, but he didn't sense any signs of a trap.

Let's hope our good luck holds, he said, not sure that it would, but keeping his head up and alert just in case.

We'll have to spread out the charges on the interceptors then, he said. We should be able to attach charges to most of them. Probably seven or eight. The other three we'll have to try to set the charges so that some of the splash damage might catch them as well. It'll destroy one and hopefully damage the other. Worst case we get three quarters, best case we get them all. Then move on to the corvette, he said. He wanted to keep at least half their supply for the corvette. @Yuan

Sina nodded as Tavek laid out his plan. The logic was there. It was a sound plan. They would have the put their remaining explosives to use in the best way they could and save a decent amount for the Corvette. That ship was going to take quite a bit of power to take out of commission. Still, if they laid their charges in the right places, they could cripple the vessel without fully destroying it and the desired effect could be achieved.

Sina made her way over to the line of interceptors. She first chose the second fighter in the line of ships and placed her charge on the belly of the ship, and slightly to the left side towards the first fighter in the line. Her hope was that the charge would blow, damaging the first interceptor and then propel pro wreckage of the second ship over to strike the third and maybe even fourth ships in line. She then made her way to the fourth ship and placed her charge in the same place, hoping that once again the same effect would come into play damaging the fifth and possibly sixth ships in the line. She now had seven explosives left. She decided that she would need to save these and hoped that they would be enough to get the job done on the Corvette.

As Sina finished her task, her wrist-mounted comms device dinged quietly. Sina raised her wrist and tapped on the pad for a moment before lowering her arm and glancing back at Tavek. "Sina's first Droid has succeeded in accessing the hangar door controls. We now have the ability to shut these ships in. In fact, it might be a good idea to do so before setting off the charges. The enclosed space will amplify the power of the explosions. Unfortunately, Sina's second Droid has failed to gain the access codes to the ships. I've instructed him to continue searching. Hard to say how long it might take. Best to continue on with the mission as is, Sina thinks. We can save the option of stealing a ship as a backup plan."

Sina ducked out from under the interceptor and glanced around. Still no sign of guards. Or pilots for that matter. Just a few of their own infiltrators moving about on their own specific tasks. Peculiar. The multi-front assault by the rest of their forces should be starting soon, if it hadn't already started. This place should be crawling with syndicate forces soon. She was surprised it was not already. Sina turned back to Tavek. "Sina thinks is perhaps now we should see to the Corvette. We don't know exactly how many charges the ship will take. If we have some left over we could hit a few more of the ships scattered around the hangar, but for the most part we have maximized the bang for our buck Sina thinks. Best to get the biggest threat out of the way now before they try to launch."

Tavek gave a nod as she said they should move onto the corvette. He hoped that perhaps the droid would gain access to the codes soon or else the two would have to figure out another route off this thing. But then, the rest of the team would have to be making their way off as well, so with any luck they could just hitch a ride? He certainly hoped so.

You're right, he said, beginning to make his way toward the corvette. There was still no sign of any guards nearby and Tavek was feeling a little odd about it. HIs luck never held for this long, but he wasn't going to complain.

Instead, he hit the button and connected the docking tube to the corvette, making his way inside. The place was empty, but smelled... like it hadn't been vented in months. Tavek's nose wrinkled up and let out a little groan. We'll need to get the power core and life support at the least, he said. I'll take the reactor, you take the life support, he said, waiting a moment to see if she had any objections before preparing to take off toward his objective. The sooner they could do this, the better. Hopefully their luck would continue to hold. @Yuan

Sina nodded to Take as he laid out his plan. The pair were making their way at a quick stride over to the dock where the Orivah had landed. It was a sound plan. They likely only had enough explosives to disable maybe three of the ship's primary systems if they combined their charges. Taking out the primary power source and the life support would certainly ground the vessel for the foreseeable future. That seemed like a logical course of action. "Sina agrees with the plan Master Tavek. Sina tends to think that perhaps seven charges for the Life Support system and seven charges for the power core should be enough to cripple the systems, and thus, the ship. That would leave us with four remaining charges to create a little extra mayhem. But, while Sina knows the logical technical design of the Orivah, she has never been on one before. Perhaps it would be better to use all the remaining charges just to be safe? Sina is not sure. But, if we had a few remaining, Sina thought we could close the hangar doors on our way out and blow the charges on the door mechanisms rendering them inoperable. That would certainly seal the lid, so to speak, on this operation. Even if any of the ships in the hangar survived, they wouldn't be able to get them out. There goes any hope of reinforcements for the syndicate fleet in orbit. Just a thought."

As they walked up to the gangway, Tavek extended the bridge tube to the side of the corvette and they made their way onboard. The ship reeked of stale air, oil, coolant and must. Sina held a hand up to her mouth and grimaced. "This is ridiculous. Sina knows these are older model ships, but these godless heathens are so cheap that they can't even keep the best ships in their fleet in decent repair. Thus we see the problem with these private organizations. No structure. No discipline. To see a once-beautiful and highly useful piece of equipment fall to decay and disrepair like this drives Sina mad. These heathens deserve to die" It was true. Sina held both lab and military equipment in high regard. Her own ship and lab equipment was always kept in a good state of repair. Sina was far from a neat freak, but she liked having all of her equipment in good working condition.

As they got their bearings, Sina's wrist comms device signed again. She held it up to see the message on screen and smiled. Turning to look up at Tavek, Sina flashed him a grin. "Sina's second droid has succeeded in gaining the access codes for the ships here in the hangar. We can now access any ship we have seen here. This is excellent news. It seems we won't be sneaking out of here like rats in the sewer after all. In fact, Sina thinks perhaps she might make some ruckus on the way out. Sina only hopes that the interiors on the smaller craft are in a better state of repair than this poor corvette." The glee in Sina's eyes was apparent as she gazed up at Tavek.

Sina nodded again as Tavek suggested she go for the life support and he for the main reactor. "Logical. If we are to find resistance, the stronger resistance will likely be found guarding the main power supply. While Sina is not one to balk from a challenge, Master Tavek is the stronger of us two sith. The mission faces better odds if you take the reactor and Sina takes the life support." Sina swung her charge pack back up onto her shoulder and gave a weak salute to Tavek. "Sina wishes you good luck. If you wish to wait for Sina afterwards, we can meet back by the interceptors. If not, good luck to you. Sina will relay the access codes to your comms." With that said, Sina turned and silently ran down the hall towards the lifts heading for the lower decks of the ship where the life support system would likely be found. Most large ships carried the life support in their dorsal fuselage. It was a more practical location for them given that heat naturally rose in an upward direction.

That might be a good idea, he said with a nod as she mentioned keeping some of the charges for the door. He certainly wouldn't argue against it.

And good luck to you, Sina, he said as he moved off in the other direction. He slipped his sword out of its sheathe silently and scooted forward, watching and ready for there to be guards inside. Being inside a ship meant there was no way to cover up what he was.

He slipped forward, making his way into the reactor room when he heard a creaking sound next to him. It was a surprised-looking mechanic whose eyes went wide. Tavek was on him in a flash, plunging his blade deeply into his shoulder and down into his heart. He shoved the man back, trying to avoid being covered in blood as the man slumped over and bled out in a pool on the floor. The assassin shook his head and stepped back, dragging the body into the shadows and beginning to place the charges. @Yuan

Sina made her way to the lifts, finding no resistance. Pressing the button to summon the lift to her level, she turned and waited, glancing back and forth down the hallway. She could hear some clanking and the occasional voice a ways down the hall. It seemed that there were some engineers doing some work on the ship, but they were of no concern to her unless they discovered her. Best to leave them to their own devices unless they got in her way at some point. The lift reached her level quickly (the ship only had so many levels to begin with) with out any fuss, and Sina walked in as the door hissed open and shut behind her. Hitting the button for the lower maintenance level, she rode the car downwards, counting her remaining charges as she went.

Sina had started the mission with fifteen of the small orb-like charges, plus the two of her own that she had brought. She now had nine remaining plus her own two after rigging the fighter craft to blow. That should be plenty to finish the job. The job thus far was going exceedingly well. She had seriously expected more resistance from the famously ruthless cartel. It was actually a little disappointing. Sina had actually been looking forward to having a bit of a fight on her hands. She hadn't really had a chance to shine since she had joined the Empire's ranks, and she had been hoping that this would be her chance for a little glory. That didn't seem to be the case, sadly.

As the lift reached the maintenance deck and the door once more hissed open, Sina glanced out into the hall and extended her senses with the force. She felt around the deck as far as she could to sense for any guards. But she found none. Not even one. Honestly, Sina was beginning to think that they should have come here to steal ships rather than blow them up. Hell, if security was this lax, they could have waltzed in here with a crew of pilots and hauled this whole damn corvette out of here. She would need some work and a good cleaning to make her acceptable within the imperial navy, but for a corvette that would have been worth it. Still, should have, could have, would have. The fact was that they did not have the personnel to pilot this beast out of here, so instead, they would blow it up.

Sina went about her work, planting her charges around the life support generator. She would use seven of the nine charges she had left. Four would be placed in the cardinal directions on all sides of the generator itself, and then three would be placed around the room on the control panels that would control the system. With that done, Sina pulled the final two charges out of her bag and place them on her belt. She tossed the bag to the side. The bulky thing wasn't necessary anymore. Nodding her head in satisfaction that the job was complete, she turned back to the lift. As she rode the lift back to the main deck, Sina tapped on her comm pad, summoning her astromechs back to the rendezvous point. She wondered in Tavek was having as easy of a time of it as she was?

Link to roll for guards. Even gave myself disadvantage, but still no enemies.

The Sith Master continued to set his charges on the ship, placing their magnetics against important sections of the reactor and even on the control panel. He was just finishing up when he heard the sound of voices coming. Three of them by the sound of it.

The assassin pulled the sword free from his sheathe and leapt upward with the Force, taking to one of the upper catwalks and watching them move. No doubt they would find either bombs or the body soon enough, so he would need to move quickly.

He waited until one was directly below him and he had the greatest advantage before moving. He dropped like a shadow, plunging his blade into one of the men and slamming him into the ground. It didn't appear the guards were actually expecting an attack or anything of the sort as the second spun around with a look of surprise, but no preparation. Tavek ripped the sword free and it slashed across the man's throat before the third actually managed to do something more productive. He backpedaled and began ripping his pistol free from his holster.

But Tavek had more combat experience than all three of these rent-a-cops combined. His left hand unleashed a blast with the Force, sending the man back into the wall with enough force that he could hear the spine crack. The Sith was on him in an instant, slitting his throat and moving for the exit. Of course, he now had more than a few bits of blood on him, but that was of lesser concern. He slipped his swords away and folded his robes to cover up what he could of the blood before making for the exit where he found Sina already waiting.

We should get out of here, he said. The blood on his clothes would give her enough of an idea that his trip hadn't been quite so easy, but it was still mission accomplished. I hope your droid finished. If not, we'll need to make for the RV point the rest of the team used, he said. @Yuan

Sina turned as Tavek approached. He had apparently met some resistance as his clothes were splashed with blood. He appeared to be trying to cover up the fact as he approached. Trying to keep his cover in case they ran into more of the natives, Sina imagined. She couldn't see a sith like Tavek being embarrassed or ashamed of blood on his trousers. As he approached and saw her, he suggested that they make their way out. "Sina agrees. The charges have been set and Sina is linking the detonators with the planted charges as we speak. They should be ready to detonate in just a moment." Sina turned and began walking down the gangway back into the hangar as she spoke, tapping away at the data pad on her wrist as she went. She had been correct then when she had said that Tavek would likely encounter more resistance than her on his branch of the sabotage. She was slightly relieved that the more experienced master had handled the harder of the two tasks, but she was also disappointed. She had hoped to encounter at least a little resistance. Then she could have had some fun.

As they walked, Tavek brought up her second droid that she had tasked to acquire the activation codes for the ships in the hangar. She thought that she had already brought that up? "Yes, Sina's droid was successful in gaining access to the activation codes. He has uploaded them to Sina's data pad and Sina has sent them to take as well. We now have a much faster and more entertaining method of escape." Sina tapped on her data pad a few more times and Tavek's communicator would ding with the intel she had sent him.

As they made their way back through the hangar, Sina stopped at the Interceptors. Her two astromechs rolled up from the opposite direction, beeping excitedly. Sina turned to Tavek. "Sina thinks she will take an interceptor. Statistically speaking, they are the least likely vessel to get shot down by either turrets or enemy fighters. Sina is willing to bet that our carrier will still be in the air when we get into orbit, and if it is not, there should still be at least one hyperdrive-capable ship still in the air. Sina will eject her escape pod and have one of these ships pick her up. It is risky, but the likelihood that our fleet has failed in their task is minuscule in Sina's opinion. Still, if master Tavek desires to play it safe, he could take a ship that already has hyperdrive. Just be careful not to get shot down. Sina offers one of her astromechs for Master Tavek to make use of as his co-pilot. Sina hopes we will get to work together again soon."

With that said, Sina bowed and turned, grabbing the ladder up to one of the Interceptors' cockpits. One of her two astromechs rolled underneath the craft and was dragged up into the underbelly where it could aid in the controls and systems. The other astromech rolled over to Take and stood straight, whistling to him, awaiting instruction. Sina consulted her wrist pad for a moment and then typed a code into the Interceptor's computer. The engines roared to life and the cockpit began to close above her. Maybe now she would have the chance to have a little fun?

Tavek was more than capable of being a little reckless as well. He was fine with the risk of taking a ship that didn't have a hyperdrive. If he died... well, he wasn't going to die.

Let's do it, he said, letting the astromech take its spot as he fired up the ship and rocketed into space. The ball of light behind him was spectacular as the charges detonated and he saw his carrier in orbit. They were home free.

Nice work, Sina. See you on board, he said into his com, smirking at another job well done.
