While the rest of the Knights of Ren were on the ground burning processing plants to the ground and poisoning fields, Adenn Ren decided to ensure Ukio's recovery efforts were set back by years rather than a few weeks to months. His personal TIE Murmur burst through the clouds hanging in the planet's upper atmosphere and the astromech droid behind him whirred something in Binary that made him switch his weapons over to hot.

"I see it," Ren said.

Absalom Station—Ukio's main floating grain elevator and shipping depot—was a fairly easy target, all things considered. The main hub looked like a space station-sized replica of an R2-unit's circular head. Beneath it, looking like fuel cells arranged in a circle, where the silos storing grain waiting for transportation to the Core Worlds. Enclosed weighbridges stretched out from the main hub, connecting it to a small landing pad, which was only large enough to host a transporting freighter and a few spare escort fighters. And speaking of those fighters...

BG-12 whirred something else in Binary about the same time that Adenn's ship began to bleep loudly in warning. He switched on his comms and said to his wing mate, "Y-wings. Three of them out of the main hub."

To be specific, they were a trio of blue, aged BNG Y-Wing patrol/recon fighters. Adenn was vaguely aware of their specs. Heavy armor. Medium shields. A collage of medium and light laser cannons. But slower than his TIE, and not nearly as maneuverable.

"Follow my lead," he said into the comm as the first spray of red laser cannon fire exploded outside his cockpit.

He pulled the stick of his fighter to the right, rolling his TIE so that it was vertical and knifed through the space between two of the three fighters. @Wit

She had trained in ships like these, fast, responsive, maneuverable, and ridiculously fun to fly. How she managed to spend years without getting inside the cockpit of a snubfighter was beyond her. She was sure there were reasons, perfectly logical ones that she would remember when she was back on the ground, but in that moment she wouldn't have bought into any of them. In that moment nothing else mattered, nothing could beat the thrill of this flight. She was grinning widely behind the mask she wore, even inside the cockpit she was keeping up the disguise of a Knight of Ren. An uncharacteristically euphoric Knight of Ren.

But then something happened that she hadn't thought possible, her comm came to life with a simple message. Y-wings. She had thought she had recalled the true thrill of flying, but she had been wrong. It was nothing compared to the thrill of a dogfight. Chasing each other with nothing but millimeters of metal separating them from the cold vacuum of space, one shot away from certain death. Putting her life on the line in a way that few could understand. Yes, she had been wrong, this was what a thrill really felt like.

"Copy that." She replied through the voice scrambler, her words going over the comms with the masculine tones of Bisig Ren.

She increased her speed, following after Adden and where he had gone right she went left. She intended to split the fighter much as he had, just on the other side from the central one. But she wasn't quite prepared for the thrill of the fight. She wasn't just euphoric, she was visibly giddy, her hands almost shaking from the overload of endorphins running through her system. She got tunnel visioned, and where she should have gone between the two ships, she clipped one as she went, and bounced off to slam into the one adjacent to it. Not even a second in and she was already out of this fight, the least she could do was warn Adden. So she called out over the comms, letting him know she was about to reverse thrusters to try and get back in control. That was when she slammed into the second ship, and realized just how much she had underestimated the seriousness of the situation.

"Reeeeeeeeeeeee..."

Her comms cut out as she ship was engulfed in an explosion, taking out one of the Y-wings with her, part of her last word stuck on a loop and sent out into the cosmos. She was long dead before her screech reached Adden.
