I just wanted to insert a blaster that could switch between different firing modes. I thought that this design would help out any soldier, bounty hunter, or assassin in many different situations. This should be the only blaster you need.

Hey guys I don't really want to, because I don't know how, but someone should recommend the A180 Blaster Pistol. It is from Rogue One and I know this timeline is nowhere near that, but it's still a good weapon due to it's transforming capabilities. It can turn into a blaster rifle, sniper rifle, and ion launcher. If someone could direct me to a some kind of frame to use to submit this, please help me out.

Users can only submit two tech threads per two months, so people may unfortunately not be inclined to do this for you. I think it's better that you do it if you really want it, because it'll make it easier for you when you want to submit future tech threads.

Anyways, here's the rules to tech submissions as well as the templates you use for each type of tech you want to submit, and here's a helpful guide. If you've looked around here, you'll notice people are using a specific template for weapons. Just follow it and put extensive detail (particularly in the intent section) and it should be approved.

But I've heard that "unique" isn't valid for the intent section. It's more about how it'll contribute to the storyline.

Looks the same to me. Try it in lower case letters (which really shouldn't make a difference). Otherwise, I have no idea what's up.

If the image is over a certain size or it isn't directly linked to only the image (which those are not, btw) then it won't show up correctly.

EDIT 2: Gotta get directly to the image and only the image. Left click on the image pop-ups there on the wikia page, select "open image in new tab," and it'll go directly to the image. Then just copy the URL into the image insert tool if you're using the non-BBcode editor, or if you're using bbcode, do

[i m g]url[/i m g] without the spaces.

Ion weaponry works a little differently than regular blasters, I don't think you'll be able to switch between them with the same gun. That being said, I like the idea. Given we're way way before Rogue One, I'd also suggest making it a not quick change to the weapon. So you'd have to take yourself out of combat for a bit to change it up.

Finally, if you could put the submission in your original post when you make those edits, it'll be ready for approval.
