A Walk down the Promenade
Starring: @Nor'baal, @Ecclessey and @TheHook1
Swear to whoever is up there, today is not a good day, thought Gallanto as he stepped of his SoroSuub Luxury Yacht 3000, his passenger - some rich guy called 'Davik Lorso' - hopefully following suit soon after. He didn't like playing taxi driver, one bit, but when they paid as much as Davik Lorso did, he was content to allow it for a short while. Accompanied as he was by an additional Hutt Operative (@TheHook1), who would serve as an additional Guard for the guest on board.

Lighting a smoke as he leaned at the bottom of the ramp, Gallanto waited for his guest to descend the ramp. Alongside this he needed to collect his payment, in addition to confirming exactly what the man wanted to do here today. Checking his DL-44 Blasters, boot knives and HUD where present and correct, he blew out a cloud of smoke, and paid the landing fee, before turning back to face the ramp.

The operative in question was a tad...unorthodox. She was a Bettybot droid with a few oddly colored appendages carrying what appeared to be luggage. She sauntered down the ramp straight toward him before rapidly blinking her photoreceptors, as if she were batting eyelashes. "Mmmmm, I guess if I have to watch someone's back, I should enjoy the view."

Davik let Gallanto wait a few minutes outside as he figured that's what a man in his new position should do in all matters not concerning Petar Anjiliacs. Both his slaves had been outfitted with new shock collars and strolled out of the yacht before him with a surprisingly eager look on their faces. They were slaves, that much was true, but as they travelled with him and observed the fate of pleasure and work slaves and their often cruel masters they realised that as far as masters go it might be best not to lose Davik anytime soon. At least not while they still had their good looks.

Eventually, Davik himself walked down. He had changed a lot since he joined the cartel and with a little help from Jana he'd adopted the clothing style of nobility and other upper class citizens. Ofcourse he'd never venture into town without his blaster, but by all account he'd have been an easy target if he hadn't arranged extra security through the cartel. Gallanto reminded him of himself a bit, which the rogue would no doubt find back in his tip, but he outright ignored the droid because it was beneath him now.

"I promised the ladies walk-in closets" he told the quick-draw artist and explained the good mood of the slaves. "Take the droid with you, it'll need to carry everything as they buy up the entire promenade." Davik sighed in good humor.

Maybe the man was mad, or he just had more money than sense, but Gallanto couldn't get is head around purchasing walk in closets for a slave. He nodded none the less, happy to carry out such work in so long as he was getting paid. Stubbing out the smoke beneath his heel, he tipped his hat to Davik. He knew the Promenade here was the best location at which to purchase all that his client desired. He spoke to Davik quickly ''The main street should have what you need Pal.'' not one to mince words, as he set out, waving a service droid away from his ship as he sealed the ramp remotely.

Walking past the two guards who oversaw their landing bay, he slipped them a few credits so that they would 'overlook' anything untoward, and keep anyone from entering the docking area. The usual matters now taken care of, he began to walk down the main street, keeping pace with Davik.

This is who they were protecting? Some pampered, slave toting, spice addled clown out throwing around his excess credits? This is the kind of person Debbie regularly killed for credits, not protected. But as long as not vaporizing him was more profitable than wasting him, she would be grudgingly keep him alive. She stood back and nodded as Davik passed her before following her new partner down the ramp. She moved over to Gallanto, making sure no one was listening, and whispered to him.

"I'll stay close. No one will expect the luxury droid..."

[[ Contacted Nor'baal for approval, I hope he likes it.]]

The Smuggler's Moon held many lives within it's embrace. Some through Spice or enslavement of a physical nature, others were here due to debt. But a few were here by choice. The heads of the Cartel and their staff were here and now he was added to their number. Ear marked for the halls of diplomacy, this man now worked behind closed doors and in the presence of made men and he loved it. A cause did one thing and that got you killed, he'd nearly bought it on Bestine and now he was out for himself, and of course that meant out for the Cartel.

The Luxury yacht had been the give away, if you had the money for one of those, you had a secure hangar on Nar Shaddaa, his own Shuttle was housed back on the Boss' estate. Right now he looked down at the street from the office's window. The Boss' man was bringing some slaver down the promenade Information was expensive, so in this game it paid to be stingy on the word count. He tied his cravat and pulled on his white gloves and made his way to the lobby.
